My friend Alexus sits down with me and shares her testimony around divorce, and the immense love she encountered from Jesus in the middle of what seemed to be an unredemptive mess in life. She shares how God brought her out of judgement of others, and gave her compassion and set her free from the religious ideologies that kept her from loving well.

India sits down with me and asks a series of questions she compiled form our family about how I felt parenting my children, what was the catalyst for my pursuit of freedom to why I think God is the best problem solver to is the rapture real? buckle up and enjoy this most likely not to happen anytime soon again interview where I get vulnerable with my daughter.

Judy talks about her life, and journey of healing from her past. She talks about the practical aspects of healing as wells the emotional and spiritual aspects. Just is an incredible example of what it looks like to choose to pursue the freedom and healing that Jesus offers over the victimization that life experiences handed her.

Nancy Becker and I talk about the spiritual difference between being a captive in life or a prisoner. We examine how our words can put others in captivity, and how our unforgiveness and bitterness we hold on to can make us a prisoner to our circumstances in life. We talk about freedom, and how to experience freedom and walk in all that God has called you to in life post captivity.

Rochelle and I talk through Identity. It's a big subject, so we talk through some of the psychology of it, and how our personal Identities were shaped, and how we worked though what was expected of us, and became who we are today. We talk about the ups and downs of trying on different Identities but ultimately emerging and walking into your God given identity.

My friend Judy and I process through our own individual journeys with God and loving People. We chat about the things He has and is teaching us on this life long journey, the mistakes, lessons and self realization that comes when loving and learning with others.

Such a great time chatting with Temi about reconciliation and multiculturalism in the church. we talk about the disconnect between what is seen and what is taught or un taught, and His heart behind bringing awareness around these two topics. He shares His personal mission and calling with music and the bridge that it is for people of all race, color, denomination and background to unite and bring together. We talk about how true reconciliation occurs when we ourselves are first reconciled to our Heavenly Father. Jacob and I sit down and chat about How in our religious circles we have taken the anointing of God and turned it into a profession. We process through questions like is it necessarily wrong? What are the ways we have monetized anointing? does it cheapen the anointing and our God given gifts? When we start to build a business around our anointing do we compromise to keep people happy? These are just some of the questions we process through. Our goal isn't to answer them, but to provoke you to thought as we give biblical perspective and personal thought around the topic.

Samantha shares her journey out of bulimia and trauma into victory. she talks about the ugly side of having an eating disorder, the trauma behind it as well as the redemptive power of Jesus to come in and hep you navigate through and out of addiction and into freedom.

Von and I process through Navigating the disappointment in how we often think God is going to do something in our lives vs. how He actually does them. We talk about keeping the faith when it doesn't make sense to.

Rochelle and I sit down and process through the misconceptions around friendship. We talk about being connected, connectedness and interconnectedness as well as how our world of social media and on line dating has brought so much confusion between these concepts. We discuss what a deep friendship is, and How most of our relationships are merely just casual acquaintances.

Jacob and I chat about Honor. We process through the positional role we have placed Honor in and how we use it to control and manipulate people into doing and becoming what we need them to be and do. We discuss the different ways we as a culture have chosen to give honor, and what the Bible actually says Honor is apart from what we have made it.

Bethany and I sit down and chat about how our christian culture tends to cover up indiscretions  rather than confront them in love and honor.  We talk about the damage that dealing with mistakes in christian culture does so many people, and how it seems like Guilt and shame have been the main mode of discipline, leaving many victim to bitterness and resentment towards the church. 

Von and I process through our very different experiences in the evangelical church culture. As black American man in a white evangelical world He talks about the culture shift, navigating major current events, the pitfalls of mis education and lack of conversation and understanding. He shares some things to do as well as some things to avoid. I am thankful for this conversation and the ability to ask questions, gain understanding and process through some of my own thoughts as well.

My long time family friend Samantha chats with me about her journey through mental health issues. We talk about the natural process and the spiritual one around treating mental health. She shares her journey with doctors, psych wards, and eventually spiritual freedom. We talk through breaking generational curses, and the power of declarations over your family and situation to bring in the living active word of God for our lives. I am so thankful for the transparency and vulnerability of Samantha to journey with me in this conversation.

What do you do when it feels like you have done everything you can, and yet you still get passed over? How do you cope with feeling un seen? I have the pleasure of processing through this with Temitope. we talk about some opportunities we felt left out of, and how we handled the confrontation and communication in them, as well as asking the question- were we really passed over or was it the hand of God who kept us from what we thought we wanted to give us what we were actually praying for? We hope you enjoy our conversation. 

What are you to believe about yourself when all the cards seem stacked against you? Adoption, abuse, divorce, single parenting, lack, and the list goes on. The destiny you believed God had for you isn't on a road that is straight and narrow, but rather full of twists and turns. Sophia and I process through the pitfalls and situations that throw us into a life of guilt and shame over what should have been but isn't. We talk through and bring Gods renewed mindset and overcoming power to get us out of a life of related patterns, and into victory.

Jacob and I sit down and share our various stories behind staying and leaving church. I felt it was a topic that needed to be addressed especially in 2020 due to the mass exodus of people for organized church. we talk about the pitfalls, and the freedom to make decisions to go in an honorable way. Our goal in this conversation was to bring freedom and truth around a decision that for most leads to pain, and loss of community, and to show you the freedom that can come when hearing the voice of God and maturely moving in it.

I take this time to share with you the new format moving forward for my the Podcast, I share my thought process and my why for this podcast as well, and thank listeners for tuning in and sticking with me as I have taken the year to experiment with and discover how to work it all out.

Melissa and I talk through her experience as a young single woman having to make the tough decision to terminate a pregnancy. She walks us through the process, and the journey of healing she later went through to process the loss of her baby. 

I sit down with my friend Wendy Walsh and we discuss suicide, and how it cam about as an option for her in life, the why behind it, and how isolation, depression and loneliness can lead you down this deadly path.

Bethany and I sit down and talk abut her addiction to porn, and how it almost tore her marriage apart. she shares how she became addicted, the side effects of it, and the misconceptions around women and porn addiction. she shares her journey and process to step out of her addiction and into freedom. this episode is real, raw, and vulnerable. I hope that Her willingness to share unlocks freedom for you all as listeners.

Julie and I hang out talking about the current events, and being stuck inside. we laugh,  address concerns, and enjoy each others company in a time where connection is slim.....

My friend Julie stopped by the compound, and we sat down and talked about fear. We get into our first response to all the manufactured madness goin onion the last month with COVID19 and how it has impacted us personally.

My friend Debbie and I finish up our conversation on betrayal. We talk about how we navigate through it, and the lessons we learn from it.
