Part 3: Today, we finish the Lesson 5 of our study through The Book of Ruth. We continue exploring Boaz as a kinsman-redeemer, drawing powerful parallels to Jesus’ sacrifice and the joy of being part of God’s family. Ruth’s acceptance into Israel reflects God’s invitation to all, reminding us of the strength found in unity. Finishing my discussion with Marta and my mother Sherrie, we also dive into the bold faith of biblical figures like Abraham, Joseph, and David, and the impact of selfless love seen in Naomi’s story. Through personal reflections—including my journey through a challenging cancer diagnosis—we discuss the importance of staying connected to God in difficult times. Join us as we celebrate the hope of Jesus’ return and encourage one another to share His love.
Part 2: What does it mean to be truly redeemed? In this episode, we continue Lesson 5 of Ruth’s story of faith and courage, exploring how her journey inspires our own. We examine Ruth 4:3-10, where Boaz steps in as kinsman-redeemer, showcasing selfless love that mirrors Christ’s ultimate sacrifice. Discover the cultural significance of ancient Israel’s legal customs—like the exchange of sandals—and how Boaz’s actions secured a lasting legacy. Once again joined by my friend Marta and my mother Sherrie, we also discuss the power of spiritual and familial inheritance, the strength of God’s family, and the impact of faith passed through generations. Join us as we uncover these timeless lessons—and find encouragement in your own redemption story.
Part 1: As we enter Lesson 5 of our Bible study, we reflect on Ruth’s unwavering trust in God and Boaz’s integrity in a pivotal moment—his legal marriage to Ruth, symbolizing transformative love and redemption. Joined by my friend Marta and my mother Sherrie, we share a powerful story of a teenager’s life-changing encounter with prayer, illustrating God’s ability to renew and restore, just as He did for Ruth and Naomi. We also examine Boaz’s character, the importance of choosing a partner with strong faith, and how family lineage remains a vital part of God’s plan. Join us in celebrating their story—and discovering God’s hand in yours.
Part 3: What does it take to transform loss into a blessing? As we continue Lesson 4, we delve into Ruth's courageous actions on the threshing floor, highlighting her unwavering trust in God's plan and how it encourages us to embrace life's uncertainties with faith. Alongside Ruth's journey, Robin, Chris, and I share the moving stories of individuals like Lee, Jamie, and Lack, who found hope and purpose through their faith in challenging times.
Part 2: Today, we'll be continuing Lesson 4 of our study through The Book of Ruth. We discuss Naomi's wisdom, the kinsman-redeemer, and how faith and love can transform lives. Once again joined by my friends Chris and Robin, we highlight spiritual readiness, self-care, and community, encouraging listeners to trust God's timing and strengthen their connection with Him. Simply for Women Ministries offers resources to support women in their spiritual journey, especially those experiencing loss or grief. This episode invites growth in faith, deeper connections, and life transformation through scripture and prayer.
Part 1: Today begins Lesson 4 of our study through The Book of Ruth. After navigating the challenges of raising a family with the invaluable support of my own mother-in-law, I discovered the profound impact that mentorship can have on one’s journey of faith. Just as Naomi guided Ruth through life's uncertainties, we explore the powerful themes of courage, trust, and restoration found in the Book of Ruth. Joined by my friends Chris and Robin, we invite you to reflect on how opening your heart to wise counsel can transform your path, drawing parallels to the nurturing guidance provided by Titus women in the Bible. Stories of godly mentorship—from trusted family figures to spiritual advisors—illustrate how embracing advice and instruction can deepen our connection to divine wisdom and align our decisions with God's purpose.
Part 3: Today, we continue highlighting themes of faith, love, and redemption in Ruth's journey. Discover how Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz’s stories of courage and trust in God can inspire our own lives, drawing from Psalms 57 and 91 to show the richness of God’s provision and care. Through the kinsman redeemer concept, we learn how God's generosity fills our lives with abundance and goodness. In this episode, I share personal experiences, including overcoming a cancer diagnosis and a life-changing incident in Egypt, to illustrate divine protection and the power of God's plan. Naomi’s journey from bitterness to joy teaches the importance of faith, love, and support. Through the Simply for Women ministry, I invite you to deepen your spiritual walk and join a community where stories of faith and transformation thrive.
Part 2: Today, we're exploring Ruth's courage, faith, and tenacity. We discuss how Ruth's story highlights God's provision and protection in our lives, drawing parallels between Boaz, Ruth’s kinsman-redeemer, and Jesus, our ultimate Redeemer. Ruth’s kindness and hard work exemplify qualities that lead to divine blessings, showing us the power of humility and faith. We also reflect on themes of rejection, abandonment, and redemption, offering strength from Psalms 22 and 27. These scriptures remind us of God’s presence during struggles, and through personal stories, we see how faith and community support help us overcome life’s challenges. Join us as we foster a Christ-centered community of women, growing through scripture, storytelling, and mutual support.
