Plastic revolutionized our lives for the past decades. But now it becomes apparent, on land and in the ocean, how harmful plastic is for humans and the environment. WHY PLASTIC? is a three-part investigative documentary series that busts the myths and misinformation, taking a closer look at what is fact and what is fiction. I had the honor to collaborate with SEEDS Iceland on the film screening of "The Recycling Myth" and interview the CEO of the Why Foundation, Mette Hoffman Meyer. Mette talks about the incredible educational work of the Why Foundation, distributing their documentaries to millions of people in underserved countries that lack access to the internet, free media, and/or reliable information. The latest documentary WHY PLASTIC? reveals what happens to our trash, and often, what does not happen to it: getting recycled. Listen to the episode to learn more about the reactions to the movies, and why one company tried to stop the documentaries from being screened.

Instead: To live more intentionally and with things that are important, rather than dividing your attention and getting lost in too much stuff. The journey is difficult, and parting with things you love can be tough. The Reward, however, is mind space, less stress, a relief when you are looking around your apartment, increased creativity, and so much more.
