Country singer songwriter Bree Taylor joins the show to take us behind her new good time anthem "Sha La La"!   “Sha La La” tosses back a shooter of summer fun and laughter, presenting a picture complete with not only memories of days gone by, but chances… Chances to create new ones, chances to sing along, and chances to fall in love with a brand-new track from a country powerhouse in the making.   For Bree Taylor, singing, writing, and performing were built into her DNA and, by the age of six, the soon-to-be breakout artist was already exhibiting signs of being a musician. Despite her hearing impairment, the youngster found her voice among choirs and eventually made her way to a recording studio in her teens. From her earliest beginnings to developing her niche, Bree Taylor found herself to be a country artist through and through — combining her passions to a sound nestled in the genre, resonating with her fans nationwide.   Connect with Bree Taylor —     —   Support Colton Gee & Desert Tiger ----- Check out our webstore @   Follow Colton Gee & Desert Tiger   -----

Ontario's Bree Taylor - recently nominated for a 2021 Mississauga Arts Award (MARTY) in the Music: Solo Vocalist — Emerging category - began writing her own songs when she was a teen and found early success with her pop debut EP Unbreakable. Shortly after, she found herself drawn to the country genre - and her fans came along for the ride. Bree's 2020 single “Cry” gained an impressive 70,000+ organic streams, and her most recent single, “Burning Bridges” soared to #1 on the Canadian Indie Charts in October of last year (#17 of 50 in Indie Songs ranked overall for 2020). Bree's new single "Kryptonite" has her looking truthfully at the relationships that draw us in regardless of the heartbreaking consequences. Written by Bree and frequent collaborators Donny Anderson and Murray Daigle, the song refuses to veer off the path of authenticity, honesty, and real, pure emotional highs and lows. On the show, Bree talks about her influences, songwriting, surviving the ups and downs of the music business and which legendary singer one of her names comes from.
