Viera má dôsledky. Biblia je iná ako ostatné knihy. Môžeš si prečítať kuchársku knihu, ale to ešte neznamená, že musíš uvariť jedlo. Môžeš si listovať v katalógu dovoleniek, bez toho, aby si navštívil miesta na obrázkoch. Božie slovo je však úplne iné. Lebo ak je niekto poslucháčom slova, a nie činiteľom, podobá sa mužovi, ktorý si v zrkadle pozerá svoju prirodzenú tvár; videl sa totiž, ale odišiel a ihneď zabudol, aký je. ( Jk 1,23-24) Určite sa ti už stalo, že si išiel popri zrkadle a zrazu si si na tvári zbadal špinu. Vtedy nejdeš jednoducho ďalej, ale zájdeš do kúpeľne a umyješ si tvár. Keď však Božie slovo odhaľuje chyby v našom živote, nie vždy to prinesie konkrétny dôsledok. Možno v modlitbe prosíme Boha o odpustenie, ale potešujeme sa tým, že sme hriešnici a žijeme ako predtým. Veríme svedectvu Písma o Kristovi, že zomrel za naše hriechy, ale už tak nahlas nehovoríme o tom, že Pán nás oslobodil z moci hriechu. Keď si podčiarkujeme verše v Biblii, nie mnohí si podčiarknu slová: Lebo Boh nás nepovolal k nečistote, ale v posvätení. (1Tes 4,7) Alebo: … s bázňou a s chvením konajte svoje spasenie. (F 2,12) Voči Božiemu slovu a voči hriechu máme úplne iný postoj než k ostatným veciam v živote. Keď ideme na hostinu a zistíme, že máme na oblečení fľak, tak sa prezlečieme alebo očistíme. Nejdeme v špinavých šatách a neospravedlňujeme sami seba tým, že veď každý má určite niekde na sebe niekedy špinu. Nie, niečo spravíme. Často vnímame len to, čo je vidno. Keby sme verili Božiemu slovu, zamestnávali by sme sa viac vlastným vnútrom a nezabúdali na to, čo sme v zrkadle videli. Keby sme sa tak často pozerali do zrkadla Božieho slova, ako sa pozeráme do bežného zrkadla, malo by to obrovské dôsledky na náš život. Jakub používa obraz zrkadla, keď hovorí o Božom slove. Neponáhľaj sa, keď sa do zrkadla pozeráš a dovoľ, aby to, čo vidíš, prinieslo praktické dôsledky do tvojho života. Lebo keď rastieme v poznaní bez toho, aby sme konali v súlade s tým, čo vieme, naše poznanie vedie k ospalému svedomiu a ľahostajnosti voči Bohu. Ľudia, ktorí neradi počúvajú, že sú hriešni, rýchlo takéto odseky v Biblii preskakujú. O Jakubovom liste rozprávajú s pohŕdaním a hovoria, že List Rímskym je ten pravý pokrm. Zreteľne chcem povedať, že ak o niektorom odseku Biblie rozprávaš s opovrhnutím, mal by si mať jasno v tom, že rozprávaš o Božom slove. Máš na to právo len preto, lebo svetlo Božieho slova osvecuje niečo v tvojom živote a tebe sa to nepáči? Medzi Pavlom a Jakubom je absolútna harmónia. Potrebujeme celé svedectvo Písma tak, ako je zaznamenané. Božie svedectvo Starej a Novej zmluvy odhaľuje pravdu o Bohu a o nás samých. Boh ti dal svoje Slovo a je tvojou zodpovednosťou dovoliť Slovu, aby v tebe konalo tak, že prinesie ovocie. Boh prehovoril a očakáva odpoveď. Odpoveď musí byť niečo viac, ako len slová. Ak nebudeš konať podľa Slova, si za to zodpovedný pred Bohom. Ak niekto hovorí niečo iné, klame. A ak si uveril skrze evanjelium a si zrodený z Ducha, Pán ti hovorí: „Prebuď sa! Aby si rástol! Opustil si prvú lásku!“ Boh používa svoje Slovo, aby poukázal na seba, aby nás pozval späť do svojej blízkosti, aby sme kráčali vo svetle. K radosti, pokoju, obnove, posväteniu a rastu. Lebo ak je niekto poslucháčom slova, a nie činiteľom, podobá sa mužovi, ktorý si v zrkadle pozerá svoju prirodzenú tvár; videl sa totiž, ale odišiel a ihneď zabudol, aký je. Každý deň sa pozri do zrkadla Božieho slova. Dovoľ obrazu, ktorý vidíš, priniesť ovocie do svojho života. Pozri sa a nezabudni ako vyzeráš. Neutekaj pred bolesťou tak, že sa do zrkadla nepozrieš. Pravda, ktorej sa vyhýbaš, ťa aj tak raz v živote doženie. Falošná nádej je ľahká, ale netrvá dlho a stojí viac, než sa zdá. Kradne totiž život. Nepozri sa len tak letmo na svoj obraz v Božom slove raz začas, ale pozeraj sa každý deň. Konaj ako Slovo hovorí. Pán hovorí, že budeš blahoslavený vo svojom konaní! Curt Westman

Block Blast got pulled from Google Play, and everyone assumed it was catastrophic. It wasn't — DAU dipped from about 56M to 50M and stabilized. The real story is much more interesting: Block Blast has hit its scale ceiling on the core game, and their answer is to quietly turn the app into a games portal.Jakub Remiar flies solo for a single-game Review Radar update on Block Blast, six months on from the original deep-dive.
