Stroud Village Hall and Residents Association raised a profit at their Levels festival in July. Overall though they are running at a small financial deficit but Katy Lace, the Manager, says they are whittling it down with community involvement and a fund raiser - a Harvest Hoedown on Friday 3 October. Speaking to Mike Waddington, she talks about what's happening at the Village Hall, and how people can get involved with their activities - sport, kids club, pilates, yoga - as well as volunteering there. Their Harvest Hoedown on Friday 3 October, not only promises a good night out and is also held at an important time in the farming calendar and she relates the help local farms provide them with.
