Steve Slight - Nine Thousand Bio: Tim was introduced into the Melbourne underground dance music scene, by a good mate, in the late 90s. He fell in love with the music and it has been a passion ever since. He loved the sounds of John Digweed, Nick Warren, Seb Fontaine, Paul Oakenfold, Dave Seaman, as well as local Melbourne DJs Sean Quinn, Jason D’Costa, Mark James to name a few. Tim started mixing back in 2005. In 2010, Tim started his own monthly internet radio show called “Elements”, where he played 2 hours of deep progressive tunes. Tim temporarily had a break from the radio show to start a family, however, the passion for music never subsided. He started mixing again to create sets for friends and the odd guestmix on radio shows, which proceeded into Tim developing a mix series on his soundcloud page called Likelihood & Consequence. Tim, along with long time and good friend Seven Wells started a podcast called Variable Frequencies, which is now a radio show on DNA Radio, airing twice a month. Variable Frequencies focuses on showcasing some of the finest underground sounds and dj talent on the planet, hosting exclusive guest mixes every month. How can you describe Tim’s DJ style? Tim refers to his sets or style being mainly underground deep house, tech house and techno. His influences these days are across a number of genres, the likes of Henry Saiz, Guy Mantzur, Stephan Bodzin, Hernan Cattaneo, Robert Babicz, Eelke Kleijn, Oliver Schories, Sacsha Braemer and Jeremy Olander to name a few… SC - @timlangler

Eagle Sessions #089 is out and about! Welcome to the show! What a week that was…first off to Amsterdam for the ADE 2016. Amsterdam is as always worth a ride and it was great meeting so many fresh faces as well as tons of friends and family. Next stop Berlin! Friday night had a great time at the Ballroom Label Showcase at the House of Weekend and on Sunday I had the honor to play at the Hammahalle at the legendary Sisyphos…definitely one of my favourite places in the world of techno! Well…off to some great new music! Great new EP out by my homies Kaiser Souzai out on Throne Room Records with an EP called ‘The Old Gods’ out on the 31st of October! Got two tracks of that one in this week’s episode. Then there’s something new coming from myself. Out on the 7th of November on Ballroom Records is the two-track-EP Parrot. Gonna play you the track Gagagei this time. Kaiserdisco is out with an phenomenal EP called Toleranz which is out on Drumcode including a remix of formerly released SQ80 by Pleasurekraft. // Episode 014: The last five years has seen Madloch in constant motion. The Belgian artist discovered electronic music in the early nineties and has been enthralled with it ever since. After creating the Sound Avenue imprint in 2011 Madloch has been on a momentous rise through the electronic music underground. The label which holds a meticulous discography of 65 releases now embodies two subsidiaries (Crossfade Sounds and 3rd Avenue) under its wing and each has become a benchmark for musical quality. Much like the success of Sound Avenue Madloch's production career has soared in a similar manner. Originally sharing the Mitrinique production moniker with Dimitri Chantzis, Dominique created the Madloch alias in 2012 to explore different stylistic blueprints. 2014 saw the Belgian producer with two paramount productions, 'Walls' and 'Reading Souls', the latter written in conjunction with friend and Sound Avenue label artist Matias Vila. Electronic music luminaries King Unique, James Teej and Nikko.Z chose to remix the elusive productions both of which received critical and commercial acclaim. An increasingly busy gig schedule found Madloch travelling to Argentina, Austria, Canada, Germany, Spain, Greece, Holland, Lithuania, Poland, Mexico and USA. At home in Belgium he remains one of the country's top underground DJs where he has shared the decks with 16 Bit Lolitas, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Matthew Dekay.
