I met him at a party in Berlin last summer and I was stoked when he agreed to have a mix ready for this series. He`s based in Berlin, but he`s currently touring through Mexico. New episode mixed by Elliot Moriarty to feel the sunset experience and enjoy a taste of emotional and electronic vibes. This set is mixed by one of the most exciting artists to emerge into the realm of Electronic Dance Music. He started listening to and exploring music aged 11 years old, and it was clear from this early age that this was a real passion, which is why he remains more determined and focused than ever, as this passion has grown enormously over the years. Els, as he's also known as, started off DJing at local parties and events, until his late teens, when the mighty Ministry of Sound came calling. It was obvious at this point that he had a natural talent for the craft, and this was noticed immediately. Off the back of this first major gig, he successfully secured several bookings and went on to play at venues including Pacha, Eden, Cable, Lightbox, Egg, and also the now World famous We Are FSTVL. As Elliot's journey progressed, the addition of wanting to make his own music became ever more apparent. He began making edits of tracks he admired, until eventually starting to release his own productions. His debut release on the infamous Seamless Recordings, is a true statement of his sound. The track which is entitled “Elixir”, has been described as “nine minutes of blissful enthusiasm”, and reached number 3 in the labels top 10 most popular releases chart on Beatport; nestling itself nicely amongst the likes of Lee Burridge, Matthew Dekay, Ian Pooley, Joe T Vannelli and Hot Since 82. Fast forward 12 months, and with a string of releases under his belt, Els's success is continuing to grow. His recent 2 track EP being signed to Nick Warren's The Soundgarden label is a real demonstration that his sound and ability warrants him being part of the Electronic Dance Music scene. Having received support from the likes of Nick Warren himself, Hernan Cattaneo, Pete Tong, Anthony Pappa, Lane8 and even David Guetta, he shows no sign of slowing down and is certainly someone you should keep an eye out for! Hello again. Another Christmas and New Year gift made and dedicated to you.   A project that was a year-long labor of love and completed during the holiday is proudly here to be presented - the annual Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase, part of the Four Seasons series.   Since an early age, one of the biggest loves and passions in my life has been the radio. In particular, I was so moved by the period between Christmas and New Year, when suddenly what day of the week it is didn't feel important, and this was reflected with all the stations playing classic songs.   My goal was to take this inspiration towards my own radio show, and the Classics Showcase has grown to become one of the most emotionally resonating and powerful episodes for fans each year, whether current, long-standing or lapsed.   And with the 2020 edition joining the ranks of several previous ones, marking the 15th Classics Showcase in total, I hope that it's just as memorable as those before, with many championed trance, progressive and techno tunes of our era, and also hidden gems which perhaps did not receive the recognition they deserved at the time.   I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year, and thank you for continuing to believe in everything I do.   With love, Markus x   Tracklist:   01. Проект Sleepfreaks, участниками которого являлись Paul Rogers и Darko (владельцы очень уважаемого суперлейбла Sumsonic, пластинки коего я ответственно берегу) сделал отличный прогрессив ремикс на работу Playing With My Mind от проекта Kybosh. Релиз культового британского лейбла Baroque. Известный отечественному слушателю проект A-Studio с нашумевшим вокальным треком S.O.S. я хочу представить в пожалуй самом интересном ремиксе от проекта Skylark. Данную пластинку от испанского лейбла Vendetta Records я приобрел в коллекцию совсем недавно, чему, безусловно, очень рад. Легендарный коллектив Underworld с треком Dinosaur Adventure 3D в свое время знатно ремикшировал мистер Funk D'Void. Ремикс Фанка - яркий пример того, как должна звучать мастерски спродюсированная пластинка. Каждый элемент на своем месте, образцово-показательныйматериал от серого кардинала электронной сцены. Данную пластинку я практически не слышал в сетах супердиджеев в эпоху суперклубов, но я уверен, что этот хит является настоящим произведением музыкального искусства. Еще одно великолепие от коллаборации Ernesto vs. Bastian на их пластинке Lonely People. Эмоциональная работа с потрясающей ямой, выход из которой заслуживает всяческих похвал. Красивейшие пады, четкий бас и аплодисменты толпы - в этой работе есть все, чтобы покорить ваши сердца, дорогие друзья. В завершении программы представляю одну из любимейших и не побоюсь этого слова величайших танцевальных пластинок культового проекта Little Green Men под названием Need. В состав проекта входили звезды Chris Scott и Scott Bradford - дуэт талантливейших британских музыкантов, продюсеров и диджеев. В прошлой программе я играл ремикс данной пластинки от Сатоши Томи, сегодня же хочу показать вам оригинальную версию со второй стороны пластинки Скота и Криса. Релиз пластинки состоялся конечно же на собственном лейбле ребят, легендарном Forensic. В регулярной рубрике Bonus Track я снова ставлю брейксовую пластинку, которая задаст еще большей живости эфиру. Сегодня ребята представлены своим филагранным NY Love ремиксом на трек Temptation от John Shelvin. Фирменные танцевальные ритмы, под которые не танцевать просто невозможно! Проект Sleepfreaks, участниками которого являлись Paul Rogers и Darko (владельцы очень уважаемого суперлейбла Sumsonic, пластинки коего я ответственно берегу) сделал отличный прогрессив ремикс на работу Playing With My Mind от проекта Kybosh. Релиз культового британского лейбла Baroque. Известный отечественному слушателю проект A-Studio с нашумевшим вокальным треком S.O.S. я хочу представить в пожалуй самом интересном ремиксе от проекта Skylark. Данную пластинку от испанского лейбла Vendetta Records я приобрел в коллекцию совсем недавно, чему, безусловно, очень рад. Легендарный коллектив Underworld с треком Dinosaur Adventure 3D в свое время знатно ремикшировал мистер Funk D'Void. Ремикс Фанка - яркий пример того, как должна звучать мастерски спродюсированная пластинка. Каждый элемент на своем месте, образцово-показательныйматериал от серого кардинала электронной сцены. Данную пластинку я практически не слышал в сетах супердиджеев в эпоху суперклубов, но я уверен, что этот хит является настоящим произведением музыкального искусства. Еще одно великолепие от коллаборации Ernesto vs. Bastian на их пластинке Lonely People. Эмоциональная работа с потрясающей ямой, выход из которой заслуживает всяческих похвал. Красивейшие пады, четкий бас и аплодисменты толпы - в этой работе есть все, чтобы покорить ваши сердца, дорогие друзья. В завершении программы представляю одну из любимейших и не побоюсь этого слова величайших танцевальных пластинок культового проекта Little Green Men под названием Need. В состав проекта входили звезды Chris Scott и Scott Bradford - дуэт талантливейших британских музыкантов, продюсеров и диджеев. В прошлой программе я играл ремикс данной пластинки от Сатоши Томи, сегодня же хочу показать вам оригинальную версию со второй стороны пластинки Скота и Криса. Релиз пластинки состоялся конечно же на собственном лейбле ребят, легендарном Forensic. В регулярной рубрике Bonus Track я снова ставлю брейксовую пластинку, которая задаст еще большей живости эфиру.
