AK, a hip-hop artist hailing from South Brunswick, NJ has stockpiled over 100 million views on YouTube and over 15 million SoundCloud streams in just one year. He accumulated his online fan base by releasing music on SoundCloud and freestyle remix cover videos. But two years ago, at only 16 years old, he released a savage cover of Desiigner’s hit song “Panda” that went viral in a massive way. The video has over 28 million views. The hip-hop community erupted with several fans releasing their own reaction videos to AK’s post. Other successes include custom freestyle remixes to Travis Scott’s “Goosebumps” and Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang,” to name a few.
