Greetings to my loyal listening populous across the interwebs. Welcome to The Chosen One, an installment based around my favorite hip hop artist, Jay Electronica. I was supposed to go to an Electronica show last week that was canceled. This Jay-centric episode, however, is not cancelled. I hope someone out there enjoyed it. My favorite part of this eppy might actually be one of the intermissions. Action Bronson's new song Triceratops is right down my alley. I had a huge smile on my face watching Paul Wall in the music video. Also, outside of the Jay stuff, the A$AP Rocky Westwood freestyle over Everything I Am might be the most lyrically impressive example from this installment. In other news, I have been a menacing presence to the local Pokemon market as of late. This weekend alone I came up at least $800 probably somewhere closer to $1200 and I couldn't be more fired up about it. Crushing it solo but the past few weeks have been making super sick connections in the scene that will catapult me to local glory in no time. Thank you as always for choosing to endure these audio waves. I really appreciate it and I'll be here to serve another one next week.Your Host with the Most,Trilly Bob Thornton

Hello to my friends and loyal listening populous via the interwebs. Welcome to Birds Come Home, what would effectively serve as the newest installment from your favorite C-List internet disc jockey. This weekend was RSD. Record Store Day for you absolute lames out there. I had it in mind all day but I didn't set up a lawn chair on the sidewalk or pitch a tent at the store. I had other extremely important plans that superseded my need to pitch a tent at a record store. I was busy advancing my position in the Pokemon realm. My game is undeniable at this point. More game than an arcade. I did make it to the record store with an hour to spare before close. I didn't leave with anything particular to RSD but I did leave with a sealed copy of Fred Again's Actual Life 2, which has been at that record shop in the same spot for a while now. I was waiting for an extremely tasteful local individual to pick it up. I was secretly hoping to look for it one of these times and find someone had bought it. That someone was me on RSD. A nice memory. This was a nice episode to me, I can't really pick a favorite part because most of it wasn't half bad. Maybe the Isley Bros on 45 take the cake with That Lady because of how distorted and synthed out the guitars sound on my copy. Thank you as always for lending me your ears and trusting my musical taste. Insider baseball, we're actually doing it Keisha. Checked recent stats and we're building in numbers. It's been around 4 years but finally seeing some growth. Almost 700 downloads this month and I'm extremely grateful and fired up about it. Serious thank you to whoever clicks on these things. I'm trying ova heeea. I'll be here with a super nasty Jay Electronica episode next week. If I can make it back from the concert. If not, there are worse ways to go. Everybody wants to go to Heaven but nobody wants to die. Your Host with the Most,Trill Belichick

What if the key to unlocking social emotional learning for your students has been playing in their earbuds all along? In this episode of Aspire to Lead, Joshua Stamper sits down with David Spellman, also known as the Positive Archer, an unorthodox educator who built a unique book and curriculum called Just Like Music: Social Emotional Learning Inspired by Hip Hop after years of recognizing a deep disconnect between the SEL strategies schools were using and the students they were trying to reach. David unpacks the powerful connection between the five elements of hip hop and the core competencies of social emotional learning, walking through how his curriculum uses hip hop lyrics from artists like Common, Jay Electronica, and A Tribe Called Quest to teach self-awareness, relationship skills, reading comprehension, and so much more. Each chapter of the curriculum is structured as a workshop built around a city, an artist, a lyric, and activities that bring SEL to life in a culturally responsive and deeply engaging way. The conversation also explores how school leaders and teachers can push back against the stigma of using hip hop in the classroom, why culturally responsive teaching is a foundation for student success, and how David's two powerful action steps for aspiring leaders can transform the way you show up for your school community. About David Spellmon David Spellmon is an experienced Behavioral Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the primary/secondary education industry. He is a fellow for the National Fellowship for Black and Latino Male Educators. He is also the CEO and Founder of Positive Archer Solutions, an educational consulting firm that specializes in Culturally Responsive Social Emotional Learning, building Positive School Culture, and boosting up the Social Capital of students. Drawing on their extensive experience in education, Charle Peck and Joshua Stamper challenge outdated disciplinary practices and offer a clear, trauma-informed framework that empowers educators to interpret student behavior as a form of communication. Through three core tenets—Consider the Environment, Explore the Root Causes of Behavior, and Respond with Intentionality—this book equips leaders with actionable strategies to foster positive behavior, build stronger relationships, and cultivate a more supportive school climate. Packed with real-world case studies, evidence-based practices, and insights into the lasting effects of childhood trauma, The Language of Behavior provides school leaders with the tools to create lasting, meaningful change. It offers a roadmap to reduce behavior issues, re-engage students and staff, and establish a culture of accountability and empathy. This book is not just a reference—it's a call to lead with vision and transform how we approach discipline, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive. Hello my friends and welcome to what will prove to serve as the newest installment uploaded by your favorite disc jockey on the internet. I am a deeply devastated daddy after Virginia Commonwealth University managed to upset my TarHeels in overtime. Not to mention my love life is boring me to tears. I see comments about the potential firing of Hubert Davis and to that I say shame on you. Wash your tongue with vinegar and go dig a hole somewhere. It's Hubert Davis around here foo. I could spill into the multiple reasons for my concrete stance but I won't give you that beating right now. It's FINE. My favorite portion of this episode would either be the cold slow and throw switch on the Nas 45, Boylife in EU by Yung Lean always makes me happy and honestly I believe Eternal Sunshine by Jay Electronica might be the best rap verse ever written. That's just me. Thank you as always for being here, I hope someone out there liked it. WHAT'S GOOD WITH YOU KEISHA?? Enjoy your weekend, I bought Holes on DVD today so I'll definitely be enjoying mine. Your Host with the Most,Juan Don

Hello to my loyal listening audience across the inter webs, I come to you in typical fashion as a lonesome loser on this holiday for lovers. To be completely honest I was never one to buy the whole sham about Valentines Day. I feel like Valentine's Day was made for the bros that can't cover the spread. A much needed buffer day in many relationships, I'm sure. But, me sitting here in my disc jockey chair, I see it as bogus propaganda subjugated upon the clueless lower and middle class by big chocolate and flower corporations. Maybe that's why I'm scratching my cheese alone in a room sorting Pokemon cards on Valentines Day. But who am I? Not Copernicus, that's for sure. Don't follow my philosophy or adhere to my theories unless you want to be a similarly neglected middle aged man holding his knees in a podcast room with full plans to retrieve a pint of ice cream immediately after this upload and watch Indiana Jones alone with my dog on Valentine's Day. Insider baseball.. The most expensive record that I currently own is a 2015 RSD release of Jay Electronica's Exhibit A and Exhibit C. The picture disc featuring a picture of Nikola Tesla that only pressed 1,250 copies. I noticed that Jay Electronica is doing a show near me next month and I am purchasing VIP meet and greet tickets to hopefully get this thing autographed and tell Jay that his music has moved my life in a positive light. Super sick move, kid. Thank you as always for listening to my ramblings and music selections. I hope you had a great Valentine's DayYour Host with the Most,DJ Witwicka Juan Don

Imagine a Rube Goldberg Machine with interview snippets pinging around a maze of album reviews and blue balls jokes. I (DEM) had the privilege of interviewing Radamiz right before his live set at the Midway SF. The audio is a little rough, rugged, and raw in spots, but the interview has the crackle of real-life human interaction. Interspersed between clips of the interview, me and the bros discuss the records that are in heavy rotation for us right now: Jay Electronica's 4 Album Spasm Live, Laugh, Love (Earl Sweatshirt) The Years We Have Left (Theravada) Sortilege (Preservation & Gabe Nandez) Per usual thats me (DEM ONE) on the theme song alongside my birthday twin DJ Cutso. Grab Your TicketsThe Day After - Sept 23rdThis episode brought culture clashes, politics, and a vision for the future all into one space. The show kicked off with laughs and roll calls before jumping into the Jay Electronica vs. Kendrick vs. Lupe Fiasco debate - the panel sparred over lyrical greatness, influence, and longevity, asking whether Jay Electronica's mystique holds up against Kendrick's consistency and Lupe's mastery of lyricism. The energy then shifted with a powerful segment on Black Tech Fest. Guest Ashley Ainsley MBE, co-founder of Color in Tech, broke down how he launched BTF in 2020 and grew it into Europe's biggest Black-led tech festival. He spoke on making tech spaces feel authentic - hosting in Tottenham's old IKEA, blending networking with DJs and food vendors, and making sure the vibe reflects the community. With partners like Apple, Google, Netflix, and Goldman Sachs, BTF has opened doors for thousands - from students discovering cybersecurity to attendees landing jobs at JustEat, Apple, and more. Ashley also touched on the hurdles of scaling UK tech versus moving to the US, and why representation is more than numbers - it's about ownership, visibility, and access. The panel closed with heavy-hitting headlines:Sarah Ferguson's apology email and the Epstein fallout. The Southport attack inquiry and delays in emergency response.Nigel Farage's immigration pledges around indefinite leave to remain.Trump officials linking Tylenol in pregnancy to autism, sparking a raw debate on public health, vaccines, and narratives in medicine.Corbyn and Sultana's shaky attempt at forming a new left-wing party.Audience stories brought it home - from lived experiences with vaccines and autism to reflections on conspiracy, community resilience, and where leadership is coming from.At its heart, this was an episode about legacy: from artists to activists, from politics to tech, from cultural icons to community builders.

The show also tackled Candace Owens' commentary linking Charlie Kirk's death to broader political conspiracies, and how narratives are shaped both inside and outside the community .At its core, this was an episode about truth, legacy, and how cultural leaders - from artists to activists - are remembered and debated.

Your favorite local internet disc jockey is BYCK to present to you, my super sick listening audience, Sunshine Eternal. Last Friday one of my favorite musical artists, Jay Electronica, released four separate albums. Some old pieces getting an official release in a proper capacity and tons of new work to go with it. I don't agree with everything Mr. Elecrtonica has to say, but I do choose to love and admire his work. One of the albums just released samples the Major Motion Picture Soundtrack of a romance cult classic featuring Kate Winslett and Jim Carrey. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The combination of the lax melancholy daily routine sounds from the movie tracks, overlaid with Jay Electronica's line of thinking is something I never knew I needed.  I hope someone enjoys Sunshine Eternal. Until next time..I remain your Host with the Most,DJ Witwicky

Runtomkring honom i New Orleans fanns den sprudlande hiphopbastarden bounce.
