Se dependesse hoje dos resultados da primeira janela de classificação para os jogos olímpicos de Tokyo que aconteceram em 2019, Luizinho já seria um dos classificados pra disputar a medalha de ouro. Atualmente, encontra-se na vice liderança do circuito mundial de skatepark, atrás apenas do americano Heimana Reynolds. Mas esse paulista da cidade de Lorena, sabe que tem muita roda ainda pra gastar pela frente pra se manter nessa privilegiada posição, onde vai participar da segunda janela classificatória e consequentemente, definir os brasileiros olímpicos. O bicho vai pegar, pois conforme os critérios de classificação e pontuações por etapa, nada está definido pra ninguém. Mas Luizinho com skate muito rápido e explosivo, sempre arranca enormes urros e aplausos do público que está se acostumando com seu nome entre os melhores das competições que participa. E pra quem acha que ele apareceu da “noite pro park”, tem sido assim, desde o início, lá no começo, quando com apenas 10 anos já participava dos campeonatos de street e corria os circuitos do interior e os grandes circuitos amadores de São Paulo.
