Craig Murray, aka Weezy Davis, is arguably the best skier in the world. Fresh off a win at Travis Rice's Natural Selection, an event where Craig went head-to-head with the best big mountain skierrs in the world and showcased a different vision, speed and style than almost anyone else in the comp…But what's different about Craig is how humble he is. While skiing is something that he does and he's one of the best, he can easily get lost in the crowd off the hill because he has zero ego or need to be known.  He's one of those guys that's the best at what he's doing now, and at some point, he'll be the best at something else. He's smart, calculated, and who knows where life will take this guy. Janelle Yip's path to becoming a pro skier was more unexpected than unconventional. She grew up as a skier on the slopestyle path, and while she loved it, being a comp skier wasn't in the cards for Janelle. So, after a gap year led her to Revelstoke, Janelle never gave up on her pro skier dreams, giving herself a 5-year window to make it happen. In year one, Janelle met the crew that would become “The Blondes," altering the trajectory of her life. In what started as a play for free beer, “The Blondes” took the ski world by storm and, in turn, launched three ski careers. Dana Flahr wasn't born to be the big mountain slayer he worked so hard to become. Growing up in a single-mom household, things were a struggle, but one thing Dana's mom figured out was how to get him on the mountain and from there his passion took over. Moving to Whistler at 17, Dana didn't party; he skied daily, honing his big mountain skills in the winter and building his trick vocabulary in the summer. That combination got him a tryout with TGR, where he sent it harder than almost anyone in their movies then. Over the years, he's won Powder Awards, earned the respect of the best in the business, and banged out video jaw-dropping TGR segments and more each season. Eventually, burnout got the best of Dana, and he disappeared. We talk about it all and more on the podcast. Gordi Eaton is a legend in the ski industry, and while many people don't know his name, because he was born in 1939, he's had a huge impact in the development of modern ski technology. Before he was involved in helping to bring sidecut, shape, top shape, rocker, and so much more tech to the table, Gordi was an Olympian on the first Bob Beattie-created US Ski Teams that featured athletes like Bill Marolt and Buddy Werner. Then, after coaching at the highest level, Gordi became K2's Race Director, a sales rep, and more.
