In this first episode of VITAL stories, Canon Mark interviews the Rev. Bryan Stewart from Holy Cross Anglican Church in Abilene, TX. Since engaging the Revive process, there has been steady growth, engaging ministry, and worthwhile challenge. They break down this parish's story and show how life continues in the ACNA through prayer and determination for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
On the heels of The Lambeth Conference, Bishop Wright has a conversation with the Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America, Foley Beach. The episode lays bare the differences between The Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church in North America in an honest dialogue of the major differences of the denominations. But in today's all-or-nothing world where differences usually result in anger, recrimination, and withdrawal, Beach and Wright show Christian maturity in discussing the ordination of women and our LGTQB+ siblings. The Most Reverend Dr. Foley Beach was elected Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) on June 22, 2014. A former Episcopal priest, Beach once was the youth minister at The Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta. After leaving the Episcopal Church, Beach planted and led Holy Cross Anglican Church in Loganville, Georgia. Bishop Wright asked Beach to be on this episode of For Faith to honor the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu's peace-making ministry.Register for Imagine Church | Be Not Afraid: www.imaginechurch.online

Sermon preached at Holy Cross Anglican Church near Milwaukee by Fr. Patrick Malone, Rector. Sermon from Ephesians 2:11-12. Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— 12 remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
Sermon preached by Fr. Patrick Malone of Holy Cross Anglican Church near Milwaukee. Text, Ephesians 3:1-13. For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—2 assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace that was given to me for you, 3 how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. 4 When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. 6 This mystery is[a] that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. 7 Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by the working of his power. 8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in[b] God, who created all things, 10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. 13 So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.
