Terry Lynch, CEO of Power Metallic Mines (TSX.V: PNPN) (OTCBB: PNPNF) (Frankfurt: IVV), joins me for a comprehensive exploration update from their fully funded 100,000-meter drill program at the polymetallic NISK Project in Quebec. We discuss recent drill results from a deep hole at the Lion Zone, pending results still at the assay lab, but also look ahead to 4 key exploration targets of interest for early 2026 drilling. Key Highlights from the Interview: Exploration Strategy: A six-rig program focused on expanding the mineralized around the Lion Zone and at depth in the “elephant zone,” and also at Lion West, at the Tiger Deep Zone, and new polymetallic targets from surveys at the Hydro Fold-Hinge Zone. Additionally the team is still drilling to connect the 5.5km corridor and “Gap Area” between Lion and NISK Main. There are still about 15,000-20,000 meters of core being processed at the lab that should be back by late January, and then 65,000 additional meters that will be drilled throughout 2026. 40 Meters of 12.18% Cu (14.34% CuEqRec) included within 20.40 meters of 2.91% Cu (3.58% CuEqRec) in Hole 25-029b at Lion, and Completes the Extension of PN-24-064 “elephant hole” to define large BoreHole EM anomaly at depth. Terry points out that the exploration team is more animated by the follow up hole here after collecting more electro-magnet information from this most recent hole. Resource Growth Path: Early-stage modeling efforts are enabling analysts and investors to build their own interpretations of scale, while metallurgical studies are underway with results set to release in early Q1 to confirm high recovery rates. Acquisition of Li-FT Power land: Back on July 14, 2025 the Company announced that it closed a definitive agreement dated June 9, 2025 to acquire a 100% interest in 313 mineral claims totalling 167 km² from Li-FT Power Ltd. (TSXV: LIFT) (OTCQX: LIFFF). The claims adjoin the Company's 45.86km² Nisk property, where exploration is expanding the high–grade Lion Cu–PGE discovery and the Nisk Copper-Nickel-Platinum-Palladium-Gold-Cobalt deposit. Terry explains how there are 8 very high priority drill targets that the exploration team is following up on across this newly acquired land. Phase 1 Metallurgical Testing of Lion Deposit: On Oct. 16th, Power Metallic announced that preliminary metallurgical studies are underway being performed by SGS Canada Ltd at its laboratories based in Quebec City, QC, and Lakefield, ON. Work to date has shown that the copper mineralization is contained within coarse grained chalcopyrite and cubanite, both which should respond well to conventional sulphide concentration methods. Overall, the character of the mineralization suggests good recoveries of copper sulphides, and these initial metallurgical tests will determine the recovery potential of the PGEs, Au, Ag, and Ni., which are expected to report within a conventional sulphide concentrate. Medicus Pharma CEO Dr Raza Bokhari joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce another major clinical milestone for the company, confirming that enrollment has been successfully completed in its Phase 2 clinical study evaluating the safety and efficacy of its Doxorubicin Microneedle Array (D-MNA), also known as SKNJCT-003, for the non-invasive treatment of nodular basal cell carcinoma (BCC) of the skin. The Phase 2 study has enrolled a total of 90 patients across nine clinical sites in the United States and is currently underway. Completion of enrollment represents a key step forward in Medicus Pharma's development strategy, positioning the company to advance discussions with regulators and accelerate progress toward later-stage trials. Dr. Bokhari explained that the company expects to report topline results from the SKNJCT-003 study in the first quarter of 2026. Following the release of these data, Medicus Pharma plans to pursue an end-of-Phase 2 (EOP2) meeting with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the first half of 2026 to discuss the next steps in the clinical and regulatory pathway. SKNJCT-003 is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center study designed to evaluate two dose levels of the Doxorubicin Microneedle Array compared with a placebo microneedle array (P-MNA). Participants are randomized on a 1:1:1 basis into three treatment arms: a placebo group receiving P-MNA, a low-dose group receiving 100 micrograms of D-MNA, and a high-dose group receiving 200 micrograms of D-MNA. The high-dose 200 microgram D-MNA represents the maximum dose previously tested in the company's Phase 1 safety and tolerability study, SKNJCT-001, which was successfully completed in March 2021. The Phase 2 trial builds on that foundation, aiming to further validate both safety and therapeutic effectiveness in a larger patient population. Medicus Pharma's microneedle-based approach is designed to deliver chemotherapy directly into skin lesions while avoiding the need for invasive surgery, offering the potential for improved patient comfort, cosmetic outcomes, and treatment accessibility. The successful completion of enrollment marks a critical inflection point as the company advances toward potential late-stage development and regulatory engagement. #proactiveinvestors #nasdaq #mdcx #tsxv #mdcx #pharma #Biotech #CancerTreatment #ClinicalTrials #FDAApproval #SkinCancer #HealthcareInnovation #Investing #MedicalResearch #SkinCancer #BasalCellCarcinoma #BiotechNews #CancerResearch #GorlinSyndrome #BasalCellCarcinoma #CompassionateUse #FDAApproval #RareDiseaseTreatment #NoninvasiveTherapy #BiotechNews

A world-first demonstration combining tidal power, battery storage and hydrogen production has been completed at the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) in Orkney, Scotland. Led by EMEC, the demonstration successfully integrated three technologies - Orbital Marine Power's O2 tidal turbine, vanadium flow batteries supplied by Invinity Energy Systems, and an ITM Power 670 kW electrolyser, at EMEC's onshore site on the island of Eday. EMEC completes 3-in-1 tidal energy, hydrogen and battery demonstration Multiple energy flow scenarios were trialled. During high generation periods, power from the O2 was used to charge the battery system, supply electricity directly to the electrolyser and export power to the grid. When tidal generation was low, the battery system discharged power to the electrolyser to keep the electrolyser operating. This approach effectively smoothed out the cyclical nature of tidal energy, enabling on-demand electricity to power the electrolyser for hydrogen production. In addition, battery power was used to support operations at EMEC's onshore Caldale site. This is the first time globally that tidal power, vanadium flow battery storage and hydrogen production technologies have been integrated into a single energy system. This approach could help overcome future grid constraints and open up new offtake opportunities, paving the way for more resilient, responsive renewable energy systems. All planned operational scenarios were completed, demonstrating the flexibility of the integrated system. Additional safety mitigation measures were put in place during the demonstration and proved effective. As an example, the team responded to an electrolyser trip within seconds to prevent a full site shutdown. The demonstration validated the 3-in-1 concept, highlighted areas for improvement such as battery management and electrolyser controls, and underscored the value of increased automation to minimise human error and enhance system reliability. The demonstration was part of the Interreg North-West Europe funded project, ITEG, which explored how tidal and hydrogen production could be combined as a solution in coastal areas to overcome grid constraints. It has also been supported with funding from Scottish Government via Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and by the EU-funded FORWARD2030 project which has completed detailed monitoring study into how to optimise the integration of tidal energy and battery storage with hydrogen and other offtake routes. Graeme Harrison, Head of Marine Energy at Highlands and Islands Enterprise, said: "HIE and Scottish Government are pleased to have supported the deployment of innovative technologies at EMEC which have combined in this ground-breaking demonstration. "The project illustrates how the highly predictable flows of power from tidal streams can be successfully harnessed in a variety of forms to meet the energy needs of business and communities throughout Scotland and beyond." Leonore Van Velzen, Operations and Maintenance Manager at EMEC said: "This world-first demonstration represents the culmination of years of effort to integrate tidal energy, battery storage and hydrogen production. Bringing together three innovative technologies was a complex challenge, but reaching this milestone has provided invaluable insights. "Running all planned scenarios, responding swiftly to an electrolyser trip and identifying opportunities for greater automation have given us a clear roadmap for optimising future systems. The trial also highlights an alternative pathway for tidal energy in scenarios where grid export capacity is limited, a likely feature in the future as we transition to a fully renewable energy system. "Building on our practical experience with hydrogen, we're now exploring other offtake routes such as synthetic fuel production using renewable hydrogen as a feedstock, a practical solution to decarbonise hard-to-electrify sectors like aviation and maritime. This is especially relev...

Break 1: GCPS Hiring STORY 1: Lake Lanier Association Completes Phase Three of Shoreline Protection Program Lake Lanier’s shoreline just got a little more secure—5,280 feet of it, to be exact. The Lake Lanier Association (LLA) announced the completion of the third phase of Project Armor, its ongoing effort to fight erosion caused by heavy boat traffic. This phase reinforced 16 badly eroded areas with rip rap, a method that helps absorb wave energy and protect the shoreline. Over the past 12 years, the LLA has armored 3 miles of shoreline, saving 28 islands and areas from disappearing into the lake. Why does it matter? These islands aren’t just pretty—they’re vital. They provide wildlife habitats, beaches, and safe spots for fishing and recreation. Without protection, some islands have already vanished, and erosion is making the lake shallower, threatening both recreation and the drinking water supply for over 5 million Georgians. This project, supported by partners like the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and local counties, is far from over. With 12 million visitors a year, Lake Lanier’s waves aren’t slowing down anytime soon. STORY 2: Hilscher wins another term in Suwanee City Council Suwanee City Councilwoman Beth Hilscher is sticking around for another four years after edging out David Martinez in Tuesday’s runoff for the Post 4 seat. Unofficial results show Hilscher pulled in 734 votes to Martinez’s 638. Suwanee wasn’t the only Gwinnett city with a runoff—Duluth voters also hit the polls to decide the Post 3 City Council race between incumbent Lamar Doss and challenger Marlene Denise Tucker. In Suwanee, it’s Hilscher who’s celebrating. STORY 3: Police aim to deter youth gun violence in slain officer's memory Gwinnett County police have rolled out a new program aimed at steering kids away from guns while honoring Officer Antwan Toney, who was tragically killed in the line of duty seven years ago. Called Toney’s Program, it launched in September and focuses on first-time or minor handgun offenses among juveniles. The program, named after Toney—who was shot by a teen in 2018—pairs participants with mentors for a seven-week curriculum and three months of follow-up support. Families are involved too, attending sessions alongside their kids. Teens hear from gun violence victims and learn conflict resolution, emotional awareness, and nonviolent decision-making. The first group graduated last month, with the next starting in January. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. Jet Horne, once a senior on South Gwinnett High’s 2022-23 team, was convicted last week on a laundry list of charges—aggravated assault, firearm possession, criminal damage, even hijacking a car. The incidents? Three separate attacks between December 2024 and May 2025. In December, Horne ambushed Talal Ansah, shooting him eight times as he returned home from work. Ansah barely survived. Then, in March, Horne fired into Timair Walker’s car, injuring a neighbor with a stray bullet. By May, he escalated—holding Maalik Leitch at gunpoint, stealing his BMW, and leading police on a chase. Ballistics tied it all together, sealing Horne’s fate. “This was a violent, senseless series of crimes,” said DA Patsy Austin-Gatson. “We’re grateful for justice and continue to pray for the victims.” STORY 5: BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Dacula Keeps Rolling with Lopsided Win Dacula cruised past Jackson County on Tuesday night, dominating with an 82-58 win in boys basketball. Case Presley was unstoppable, racking up 20 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists. Josh Brown added 15 points, six boards, and four steals, while Dorian Douglas chipped in 15 points, five steals, and four assists. Kenny LaRue (nine points, six assists), Luke Anderson (nine points), and Caleb Golding (nine points, four rebounds) rounded out the Falcons’ balanced attack. Dacula now sits at 6-1 on the season. ATLANTA FALCONS: The Falcons, with six losses in their last seven games, will take on the Seahawks, who’ve won six of their last seven. Led by coach Mike Macdonald and quarterback Sam Darnold, the 9-3 Seahawks face the Falcons at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. In today's Cloud Wars Minute, I explore how Salesforce's acquisition of Informatica strengthens its foundation for delivering trustworthy, agentic AI.Highlights00:04 — A few years back, when I was covering the cloud data management firm Informatica on a regular basis, the rumor mill was rife with speculation that the company was set to be acquired by Salesforce. It didn't happen right away, but ultimately, that's what transpired.00:22 — Now, Salesforce has announced that the acquisition is complete and Informatica is now part of the company — and it makes perfect sense. Informatica emerged as one of the most creative and forward-thinking cloud data management platforms out there.00:39 — The company was quick to adopt generative AI with its CLAIRE GPT tool and soon embedded this enhanced functionality across its Intelligent Data Management Cloud, or IDMC. And now Salesforce has all of this capability within its own ecosystem, and it's an enviable place to be.00:59 — Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff has been quick to highlight how the integration of Informatica will benefit Salesforce customers in their agentic AI journey, saying: “You have to get your data right to get your AI right ... Informatica is the trusted platform that turns fragmented enterprise data into context so every agent can reason, act, and deliver outcomes with precision."01:43 — Benioff is spot-on with that opening line: You have to get your data right to get your AI right. And with Informatica's tech supporting a scalable data foundation, Salesforce is enabling just that. If, like Salesforce, you can provide not only the tools to develop an agentic AI ecosystem but also the data foundation to support it, you find yourself in a very strong position indeed. Visit Cloud Wars for more.

Aftermath Silver CEO Ralph Rushton joined Steve Darling from Proactive to confirm that the company has completed the final payment required to secure full ownership of the Berenguela silver-copper-manganese project—nearly two years ahead of the original November 2026 deadline. Rushton explained that this early payment brought meaningful benefits. EMX Royalty Corporation agreed to reduce the amount of the final payment by US$100,000 and, importantly, waived Aftermath's obligation to complete and file a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) by November 23, 2025, a requirement previously set out in the amended Berenguela Acquisition Agreement. With this final payment now made, Aftermath Silver has satisfied all financial commitments under the acquisition deal. Rushton noted that the company is now working closely with SSR to finalize the formal transfer of ownership of the Berenguela project. Looking ahead, Aftermath will launch a full, comprehensive PFS for Berenguela. The study will evaluate a development plan centered on producing silver, copper, and manganese—three commodities in strong demand across industrial supply chains and emerging technologies. Rushton said this work represents a major step forward in positioning Berenguela as a significant future source of these critical metals. #proactiveinvestors #aftermathsilverltd #tsxv #aag #otcqx #aagff #mining #SilverMining, #BerenguelaProject, #Mining #Silver #Copper #Manganese #Peru #DrillingResults #BatteryMetals #ResourceModel #Investing

Interview with Mark Chalmers, President & CEO of Energy FuelsOur previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/energy-fuels-nyseuuuu-us-critical-minerals-production-hub-7503Recording date: 8th October 2025Energy Fuels represents a uniquely positioned opportunity in the critical minerals sector, combining operational uranium production generating positive cash flow with strategic development of rare earth and heavy mineral sands assets addressing acute Western supply chain vulnerabilities. The company recently validated this strategy through a $700 million convertible bond offering completed in one week with Goldman Sachs as sole bookrunner, oversubscribed six to seven times at a remarkably low 0.75% interest rate. The investment thesis centers on several compelling factors. First, Energy Fuels operates the only conventional uranium mill in the United States with existing permits and infrastructure capable of processing radioactive monazite ore. This creates a significant competitive moat that would require competitors years and hundreds of millions of dollars to replicate. The White Mesa Mill in Utah provides operational flexibility to process either uranium (240,000 pounds per month capacity) or rare earths depending on market conditions, allowing management to optimize revenue generation dynamically.Second, the uranium business is currently cash flow positive and ramping toward two million pounds of annual production from 100% owned mines. Management projects this uranium revenue will generate sufficient cash to fund all corporate expenses plus rare earth and heavy mineral sands development without requiring ongoing equity dilution. This self-funding model distinguishes Energy Fuels from development-stage competitors who must continuously access capital markets. The White Mesa Mill restarted processing Pinyon Plain ore in early August 2025 and will run "well into next year," providing visible near-term cash generation.Third, Energy Fuels' strategic focus on monazite processing provides access to heavy rare earths—specifically dysprosium, terbium, and samarium—that MP Materials' bastnäsite deposits lack. These heavy rare earths are essential for high-performance permanent magnets used in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense applications. Critically, heavy rare earth prices currently command premiums three to four times higher than Chinese alternatives, while neodymium-praseodymium prices have surged from $55 to $85-90 per kilogram, reflecting strong demand for non-Chinese supply.Fourth, the company has tangible near-term development opportunities rather than aspirational long-term projects. The Donald rare earths project in Australia is fully permitted, shovel-ready, with capital costs estimated at $300 million and exceptionally high grades of heavy rare earths. Phase 1 would produce approximately 7,000 tons per year of monazite. The Phase 2 expansion at White Mesa would create processing capacity comparable to Lynas. Multiple feasibility studies on Toliara (Madagascar), Donald, and White Mesa Phase 2 are expected by year-end, providing updated development economics.Fifth, partnerships demonstrate downstream integration progress. POSCO collaboration has advanced to producing sintered magnet blocks being incorporated into electric vehicles in 2025. The company has engaged former General Motors personnel to assist with metal, alloy, and magnet development, showing serious commitment to building integrated non-China supply chain capabilities. The macro context amplifies the opportunity. China controls approximately 70% of global rare earth production and nearly 90% of processing capacity, while the United States imports more than 90% of its uranium. Western governments view these dependencies as national security risks, particularly as clean energy transition, transportation electrification, and defense modernization drive unprecedented critical minerals demand.Energy Fuels offers investors operational cash generation today funding strategic positioning in materials where Western supply chain security commands significant price premiums, backed by existing infrastructure, proven execution capability, and exceptional recent market validation through favorable institutional financing.View Energy Fuels' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/energy-fuelsSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
