Episode Notes What we know, is that we do not know on what day or at what hour our Lord will come. However,we know that He is coming. For that reason alone, we are to, STAY ... ALERT. In other words, we should expect the return of Jesus imminently, any second as it were so we are more focused on what is really important in this life for us, His children. In this heartfelt episode of Nothing But Fine, Emily Trotter shares an unfiltered stream of thoughts about heaven, hope, and what it really means to say, “Come, Jesus, come.” Reflecting on CeCe Winans' powerful song and her own faith journey, Emily explores how our earthly need for justice and understanding fades in the light of eternity. With warmth, honesty, and wisdom, she reminds listeners that when we finally see Jesus face to face, all hurt and bitterness will melt away—replaced by peace, joy, and the ultimate embrace of love. Episode Notes We have reason to believe from our last two studies on this topic that Jesus comes first, unseen, then, secondly, seen on the clouds with a host of heavenly bodies coming with Him that, as many think, He captured up to heaven before the Tribulation Period. "Your life is not hopeless. Your life is not too dark. Your sins are not too great. Jesus came to encounter you today and forgive you of your sins." --Pastor Steve Dow The message "Come Jesus Come" draws its power from Revelation 22:17, the Bible's final invitation to humanity. Pastor Steve Dow passionately asserts that the call to "come" is an open invitation from the Spirit, the Church, and all who have heard the Gospel—with no prerequisites required. He reminds believers that their mission is to extend this invitation, while also urging them to be ready and watchful for Christ's return. At the heart of the message is the certain, living hope we have because Jesus was not just raised from the dead, but resurrected, guaranteeing an eternal future free from pain and sorrow for all who believe. +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://www.anctally.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://x.com/allnationstally
Episode Notes In Matthew twenty-four verse twenty-seven, Matthew only speaks of two navigational points and in Matthew twenty-four verse thirty-one he speaks of four points on a compass by commenting on the four winds. Also, after that phrase and a comma, we are told that those coming from heaven come from one end of heaven to the other. Please visit our Outreach Web site! ~ Home Page. Episode Notes Just when it looks as though Christ is going to come again for His people, the end … is still … to come. That is because there are false-christ's misleading people, wars and rumors of wars, nations rising up against nation as well as kingdom against kingdom, with famines and earthquakes in various places are only the beginning. We are not as close to the very last that allows us to leave this world in Christ's coming for His church. Please visit our Outreach Web site! ~ Home Page. We continue through the book of John as Philip invites Nathanael to come and see Jesus. We discuss the revelation that Jesus had already seen him and what that means for us.
You see the world, and you think, Why hasn't God sent His Son back to earth to be done with all this sin and chaos? And then the apostle Peter gives us the answer. It has to do with His patience; His desire; and His mercy. - Bill Allen - Tuesday, September 9, 2025

The largest religion in the world began with a simple, three word invitation from Jesus- “Come and see.” People have been exploring the way of Jesus for over two thousand years, seeking to determine if Jesus' claims about himself, and the ways we are to relate to God and one another, are true. Come and see.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 Today is Sunday, so let's pause our focus on mission themes and take some time out for worship and rest. This is important, because missions can easily focus on all the things we are called to do. And, at times, talking about God's mission can leave us feeling guilty about things we are not doing. So today we remember that we do not carry the world on our shoulders. We take a day to worship, meditate on Scripture, play, and rest. This past week we have been thinking about the gospel as good news. In our passage today we hear the most beautiful good news from Jesus: “Come to me and rest.” Notice that he is talking not only about physical rest but also about rest for our souls. Jesus promises eternal rest for us all. The other day I was reading some bedtime stories to my grandsons—and as we did that together, I could feel them relax into my arms. Secure in a trusted relationship, they were able to let go and fall into a state of peaceful rest. Jesus invites us to see himself that way. Secure in Jesus, we can release our cares, our burdens, and our problems to him. On this day of rest, may you be reminded and find that the Lord holds you and the whole world in his hands. Dear Jesus, I surrender all the places in my life where I feel tired and worn out. May I find true and eternal rest in you today on this day of Sabbath. Amen.

August 17, 2025"I come not to bring peace, but division..." Harsh words from Jesus (Luke 12:49-53), especially because he talks about division in our families.Jesus knows the gap between the way the world should be and the way the world is. He grieves this. He also knows that he alone can bridge this gap, hence the fire and hence the passion. As disciples of Jesus, we are blessed with passion, a holy fire to work towards a better world.Yes as disciples, we must also learn this passion must be met with humility. For we ourselves have a gap between the people we should be and the people we are, a gap bridged by the cross of Christ.
This Sunday, we'll close the series with one final question: When will Jesus come again? This question really gets at the source of our hope- who and what it is we are waiting for, and how are called to live as we wait.

Are you doing all the “right” spiritual things…and still running on empty? In this power-packed message, Dr. Monique Flemings confronts the treadmill of performance-based faith—what she calls restless religion—and invites us to step off the grind and into Spirit-led rest. Rooted in Luke 13:10–17, where Jesus frees a woman who had been bent over for 18 years on the Sabbath, Dr. Monique shows how legalistic rule-keeping can blind us to the heart of God and block someone else's breakthrough. When protecting tradition becomes more important than celebrating transformation, we've missed the point. She unpacks seven types of rest, drawing from the “Sacred Rest” framework to help weary believers diagnose why they're depleted beyond “just needing a nap.” Physical, mental, emotional, social, creative, spiritual (alignment!), and more—God cares about all of you. Burnout, she teaches, doesn't only come from doing too much—it comes from misalignment: serving in ways disconnected from your God-given purpose. Even vacations can't fix what the daily rhythms of real rest were meant to restore. So, what is restless religion? Activity without progress; motion without meaning; service fueled by fear of disappointing God rather than love for Him. If that's you—exhale. Jesus came to set you free. Dr. Monique warns how religious legalism elevates form over freedom and ritual over relationship, and how it can keep us from rejoicing when the bound are set free right in front of us. True rest flows from alignment with the heart of God, not flawless performance. Our faith must be rooted in His presence, not our checklists. Hear a healing call from Jesus: “Come to Me… and I will give you rest… you will find rest for your souls.” Lay down guilt-driven religion and receive the gentle yoke that lifts, restores, and renews. In This Episode You'll Discover:How Sabbath got weaponized in Luke 13—and what Jesus corrected. Why checking church boxes without heart connection drains you. Practical lenses to diagnose your rest deficits (7 types!). Signs you're stuck in performance mode—and how to step into grace. Listen, breathe, and receive. If you've been faithful but fatigued, this message is your invitation to stop striving and start resting with Jesus.Subscribe, rate, and share this episode to encourage someone who's running on empty.

This passage does not tell us how long or when Jesus will return. But this passage does tell us for certain that Jesus is going to return. This verse also says that when we see all these things know that the time is very near. Well, what are the things that we will be able to see so we that we know His return is very near?
In this episode, James, Carlos, and Matt dive deep into why Jesus hasn't returned yet, exploring God's timeless nature, His patience, and what that means for believers today.
