Join Jackson and B.P. for another dose of true crime comedy to close out the month of May. And we finish May with a very politically charged This Week In Murder with a story of an incel-related (see our back catalog for Incels, My Dude) mass shooting that was thankfully thwarted before turning deadly. Then, a charged discussion of the horrible, entirely preventable murder of George Floyd. From there, our weekly feature covers the mysterious appearance of Madalyn Murray O'Hair and her family. Once called "The Most Hated Woman in America," Murray O'Hair's sudden disappearance in 1995 raised a lot of questions, but very little in the way of police work. This week, we explore how a reporter and a private eye unraveled the threads and solved the case. And then, as always, we close with Who Died The Worst? --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/murdermydude/support

Madalyn Murray O'Hair. Austin, Texas. August, 1995. America's most hated woman, along with her youngest son and granddaughter, goes missing. She was the leader and founder of American Atheists. An organization meant to enforce and fight for the separation of church and state. At first, this is not exactly surprising as many suspected that she had had enough and fled. Her eldest son, with whom she had abandoned once he became a Christian, called authorities after someone in the organization moved into his mother's house. Later, they discover that the three hadn't fled after all. They had been kidnapped. What's worse, they had been taken by someone who hated Madalyn Murray O'Hair more than anyone else and was bent on revenge... Visit our website at: genwhypod.com
