Our hearts and Easy A told us to, so here we are, in February 2021, discussing Cameron Crowe's directorial debut Say Anything with January guest and still-amazing person Michael M. Rader on Galentine's Day and our fifth podcasting anniversary. That was a run-on sentence, I know, but we've always been able to say anything to you. Does Say Anything hold up after 32 years? Do we hold up after 5? Listen to find out. (And again, listen to Michael on WHEEEEEEngs - A Sincere Wings Podcast & We'll Get It Right Next Year: An Adventure in Cinema)
Welcome to 2021! New year, new sweat pants, new episode! Much anticipated guest and pretend shag of the podcast Michael M. Rader joins us in adorning our bodices with red As ... and it doesn't smell that weird. Listen to Michael on WHEEEEEEngs - A Sincere Wings Podcast & We'll Get It Right Next Year: An Adventure in Cinema
Buddy, Ethan and their guest Michael M. Rader (We'll Get It Right Next Year: An Adventure in Cinema and formerly WHEEEEEEngs- A Sincere Wings Podcast) discuss the best X-Men movie to come out in May of 2009! How does this film hold up? Will will.i.am be mad when he hears this episode? Is Emmy Winner, David Hyde Pierce discussed? Do audiences remember that I, Stand Alone by Godsmack was an original song written for the motion picture The Scorpion King? The answers may shock you! Also: Helicopter Corner
Happy Holidays, Nightbirds! Here's a special show and sequel to the original campaign featuring Jelly going off by herself to find her sister. It features Bobbie (Rae in TSMR2), Michael M. Rader (We'll Get It Right Next Year) and Ryan Lynch (We'll Get It Right Next Year, Divisive Issues). We guarantee an episode full of cheer!
This is it folks! The ending of campaign one! The final battle between the Nightbirds and Alianna commences. In this episode Alianna embarrasses her selves, Jelly does the thing, Skumk tastes sadness, and Coen is sick with cold. Thanks forever to Noel from Dames and Dragons and Michael M. Rader from We'll Get It Right Next Year in lending us their delightful selves.
When I was a young boy my father took me into the city to listen to TSMR. This our finale, folks! Well, part of it. While this is just over an hour, there was a TON of material to wade through that couldn't be done in less than a day. Noel (Dames and Dragons) and Michael M. Rader (We'll Get It Right Next Year)join us for our return to Landyworld and the Nightbirds get their revenge on The Black Parade and start their showdown with Alianna. In this episode Jelly fails to reason, Skumk gets new scale armor, Coen suffers, Garbager stinks, and Alianna shocks them all.
The fine boys at We'll Get It Right Next Year, Ryan Lynch and Michael M. Rader (our own Garbager!) were kind enough to co-DM us through some bizarre mixture of D&D 5e and a movie they knew nothing about. The movie is The Judas Project. Stan, Ivan, and Hayden play Pete, Jude, and Dracula respectively in this bizarre post-apocalyptic sequel to the New Testament!
The Holidays are upon us! Set before Landy World, Coen and Skumk go off on their own adventure along with a new half-orc friend, Murk who is played by Stan. In the DM seat is our great friend of the show Michael M. Rader who weaves an intricate tale of a bugbear named Grunch who steals the feast of St. Piddlespot-Now-How from the poor Hows. In this episode Coen gives a lesson on how comedy works and Skumk shares with us his Bear Facts.
On this episode, we took a break from the usual political topics to talk religion. Darryl and Ryan are joined by network leader Malcolm Nygard and We’ll Get It Right Next Year’s Michael M. Rader to discuss their Christian upbringing and how that factors into their modern liberal sensibilities. For this episode, Ryan builds his […]
They See Me Rollin' Presents: Spooky Tales to Chill the Bone! In this adventure, Michael M. Rader takes over as Dungeon Master while reprising his role as Garbager in this terrifying adventure on a haunted ride in Landy World. During the horror, Coen gets needlessly destructive, Jelly learns every rose has a thorn, Skumk gives peace a chance, and Garbager helps the process trauma. This is a Bonus Episode, but it is 100% canon to the world of TSMR!

Welcome to Landy World, the Mystical Empire! Our adventurers meet their guide, Garbager the Goblin--played by our good friend and hilarious boy Michael M. Rader--and start their vacation off right by riding the roller coasters! Along the way, Coen worships a cartoon, Skumk goes splat, and Jelly is Babashook. Be sure to catch Michael Rader on his hilarious podcast, We'll Get It Right Next Year, where he and co-host Ryan Lynch try to figure out the plot to a movie they know nothing about. This year it's We Bought a Zoo.

This week, I am joined by Michael M. Rader of We’ll Get It Right Next Year to talk about “The Berenstain Bears at Camp Crush!” This book gets WAY OFF TRACK and doesn’t really involve crushes and barely involves camping. It does involve the most loathsome of Bear Country characters, however, Mervyn Grizzmeyer. Ish. https://ia601501.us.archive.org/21/items/DIBCEP112/DIBC-EP112.mp3...Continue reading →

Due to a horrible illness, Stan was unable to DM for this episode. Fortunately, his kind and good friend, Michael M. Rader, host of the sincere Wings podcast, Wheeeeeengs! was on hand to take up the mantle and carry our boys through the entire 1993 Wizards of the Coast Wings RPG campaign. We hope you enjoy this short, but action packed episode full of luggage, murder, and the best lupus gags you ever will hear.
