No matter where you sit within the economy, whether you're a CEO or an entry level worker, everyone's feeling uneasy about AI and the future of work. Uncertainty about career paths, job security, and life planning makes thinking about the future anxiety inducing. In this episode, Daniel Barcay sits down with two experts on AI and work to examine what's actually happening in today's labor market and what's likely coming in the near-term. We explore the crucial question: Can we create conditions for AI to enrich work and careers, or are we headed toward widespread economic instability? Ethan Mollick is a professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he studies innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future of work. He's the author of Co-Intelligence: Living and Working with AI.Molly Kinder is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, where she researches the intersection of AI, work, and economic opportunity. She recently led research with the Yale Budget Lab examining AI's real-time impact on the labor market. Naming beneficiaries and successors might seem simple, but one wrong designation can lead to tax headaches, probate delays, or unfair outcomes for your heirs. In this episode, Joe Curry explains how to properly name beneficiaries across your RRSPs, RRIFs, TFSAs, and non-registered accounts — and how to avoid common estate planning pitfalls that could cost your family thousands. Key Takeaways Beneficiary vs. Successor — know the difference. A beneficiary receives the account value after death, while a successor (available only to spouses) continues the account tax-free and without interruption. RRSPs and RRIFs carry hidden tax traps. Non-spouse beneficiaries may get the full payout, but the estate — and the executor — must handle the tax bill. TFSAs can pass on tax-free growth — but only with the right setup. Naming your spouse as a successor holder preserves the tax-free status; naming them as a simple beneficiary does not. Non-registered accounts and property often go through probate. Joint ownership or trust structures can help avoid delays and additional costs. Keep designations up to date. Life changes — and so should your beneficiaries. Ensure account designations align with your will to avoid confusion or accidental disinheritance. What if you could go back and do it all over again? That's the premise of Olivia Cuartero-Briggs' new comic, “The College Try,” out in February 2026 through Maverick, an imprint of Mad Cave Studios. Rachel, a desperately single Chicago comedian attends her 20-year college reunion in a disastrous attempt to win back the one who got away. But, in a magical twist of fate, she is sent back to 2003 - her sophomore year of college - for one last chance to fix it all. Olivia, in her third appearance on the show, talks about the inspiration for the story and how her own college experiences played a role. We examine the protagonist Rachel del Rio, her flaws and how Olivia prefers to work with less-than-perfect characters. The book takes place in 2003, and Olivia and Max dive into that era and how it felt to relive it through the pages of “The College Try.” Returning artist Roberta Ingranata brings the story to visual life and it's her second book with Olivia, the first being “Jill and the Killers.” Olivia shares her working relationship with Roberta and what it was Ike to team up once again.

Have you ever felt that quiet pressure to do it right — eat right, work right, rest right, even “heal” right — and wondered why it feels so heavy? In this episode, I'm exploring the hidden cost of trying to get it right — especially for ADHD women who are already juggling so much. This layer of perfectionism isn't about chasing approval; it's about trying to prevent chaos, exhaustion, or the overwhelm that comes when things go wrong. I share stories from my own life — from childhood moments of not being believed to adult experiences that taught me to stay hyper-vigilant — and unpack how this pattern is really a nervous system strategy for safety, not flawlessness. You'll learn how to recognize when your “do it right” part is trying to protect you, how to reconnect with your Self (the calm, compassionate center that knows what to do), and how to build the skills and structure that help you feel safe enough to be imperfect. Because true freedom doesn't come from doing it all right — it comes from knowing you can handle it when you don't. Mentioned in the episode: Check out my journal-book experience The Self-Loved Woman Way: How to Stop Playing Small with ADHD”. It is a tangible journal-book that comes in a keepsake box with sensory items I selected to help you do this work - the deeper work of healing. Watch the video showing what it is and learn more here

Live around 5 p.m., Post-Gazette sports columnist Paul Zeise gives his thoughts on the Steelers' moves -- or lack thereof -- at the NFL trade deadline. Did GM Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin properly balance the team's present with its future? Especially with numerous extra NFL draft picks in hand with the event coming to Pittsburgh? Did they secure enough help for the struggling secondary around names like Jalen Ramsey, Joey Porter Jr., Kyle Dugger, Darius Slay Jr. and Brandin Echols? Does Aaron Rodgers now have enough pass-catching help alongside names like DK Metcalf, Calvin Austin III, Roman Wilson, Darnell Washington, Jonnu Smith and Pat Freiermuth? And how much can the acquisition of Marquez Valdes-Scantling bolster the group? Paul tackles those questions and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Join Tyler in this episode of The Hours Podcast as he sits down with renowned basketball teacher Edward Leblanc! Edward is an innovative mind known for helping players and coaches achieve their full potential, and in this episode, he shares his revolutionary insights on player development, skill acquisition, and what really moves the needle for young athletes.Edward Leblanc brings a game-changing perspective to the court, challenging the conventional wisdom of chasing constant AAU tournament participation.
