How much thought do you really give to your saddle? It's one of the most personal contact points on the bike and yet, for most of us, it's also one of the least understood. This week, I'm joined by Sean Madsen, a true expert when it comes to bike fit and saddle design. Sean's spent over 25 years working with some of the biggest names in cycling. From developing products used by the pros, to helping everyday riders find real comfort on the bike. We get into what actually makes a saddle comfortable, why numbness and pain aren't something you should just accept, and how things like shape, padding, and rail material all come into play. We also chat about the future, 3D printed saddles, new materials, and how often you should really be replacing yours. So, if you've ever wondered whether your saddle's helping or holding you back, sit tight, this one's going to change the way you think about one of the most overlooked parts of your bike. So sit back, hit play, and enjoy this episode with Sean Madsen. You can also watch this episode on YouTube here. You can checkout the entire range of WTB products over at wtb.com. Join Tyler in this episode of The Hours Podcast as he sits down with renowned basketball teacher Edward Leblanc! Edward is an innovative mind known for helping players and coaches achieve their full potential, and in this episode, he shares his revolutionary insights on player development, skill acquisition, and what really moves the needle for young athletes.Edward Leblanc brings a game-changing perspective to the court, challenging the conventional wisdom of chasing constant AAU tournament participation. We dive into the most effective ways young players can spend their time for maximum personal growth. Leblanc argues that time is a player's greatest asset, and often, that time is better spent on deliberate individual skill work (like shooting & ball handling), free-play/pick-up games, & expanding basketball knowledge through film, books, and podcasts, rather than the extensive travel and downtime associated with many tournaments. This episode is a masterclass in separating high-impact activities from low-impact participation. It's an essential listen for coaches and parents who want to foster resilience, coachability, and a high Basketball IQ—the non-tangible skills that are the foundation for long-term success. Learn which core skills truly pay off at the next level and hear the inspiring story of a seemingly unassuming janitor who profoundly shaped Edward's journey.⏱️ Key Points & Time Stamps(0:00): Introduction to Edward Leblanc—PGC Basketball Director and innovative teacher of the game.(4:15): Time as a Player's Greatest Asset—Why the ROI on early, constant tournament play is often low.(7:30): High-Impact Activities for Young Players—Prioritizing individual skill work (shooting, ball handling) & free play over structured games.(12:50): The "Free Play" Advantage—Creating a low-pressure environment for skill mastery & decision-making without fear of substitution.(17:05): The Timeless Skills That Matter—Identifying shooting, reading the floor, and ball security as keys for advancing to higher levels.(21:40): The Foundation of Success—Discussing the importance of coachability, leadership, and resilience as critical non-tangible skills.(31:15): Curriculum Development Insights—How PGC designs its teaching to provide secret 1% enhancements that unlock breakthroughs for athletes and coaches.✅ Action Items for CoachesRe-Evaluate Tournament Time: Encourage players (especially those below the Sophomore/Junior year) to trade some tournament weekends for individual skill-building blocks focusing on high-rep shooting and ball-handling.Facilitate Free Play: Actively promote or organize open-gym/pick-up opportunities. This builds player creativity and decision-making without the pressure of a team environment.Prioritize Fundamentals: Dedicate practice time to the "timeless skills" like teaching players to read the floor and improving position-specific ball security.Teach Resilience: Develop drills and culture that treat mistakes as learning opportunities, emphasizing that bouncing back with determination is a crucial skill.Learn More about Edward & Court Sessions: https://www.skool.com/courtsessions-basketball-8784/aboutSAVI Basketball Community Membership: https://www.skool.com/savi-coach/aboutTOC Coach Community Membership: https://www.skool.com/toccoach/about

When it comes to talking about all of the change going on at work right now, many of us get so worried about saying the wrong thing, that we don't say anything at all. Or... we say everything is going to be fine, or belittle how people are thinking, or fall into one of the many traps of the "wrong" way of talking about change. Not anymore. In this episode I dive into why falling into these traps can be so detrimental on your team, and share a simple framework for talking about change so people feel supported.
Wanting isn't the problem. In fact, it's the beginning of everything meaningful in your life. But somewhere along the way, we learned to suppress, shame, or override our desires—until we forget what we even want in the first place. In this episode, I break down three common ways wanting goes wrong, share a few weird/funny stories from my own life (including slapping hams like bongo drums), and guide you back to wanting in a way that feels exciting, intuitive, and safe.In this solo episode, Justin dives into:Why most people don't actually know what they wantHow your wants may not even be your own (yep, societal programming is sneaky)The difference between wanting and havingAnd how reclaiming the right to want is the start of actually getting what you deeply desireAnd yes—there's a story involving slapping hams like bongo drums. It makes sense. Trust us.

What if you could create one coaching program that becomes the cornerstone of your business — the thing you're known for, that clients immediately recognize, and that keeps generating revenue year after year? That's exactly what happened for me when I built the Business Building Bootcamp (BBB) — my flagship, one-year business-building program for coaches. In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on how and why I created it, the lessons I learned along the way, and how you can tell if you're ready to design your own signature course. I'll take you back to year 10 of my coaching career, when my practice was already full and I was focused on burnout, alcohol, and life transitions for professional women. Out of the blue, coaches from my latest certification class started coming to me for help building their businesses. Their training had promised business-building support, but the reality fell short — and they saw me as someone who was actually doing it successfully. At first, I took them on 1:1. But soon, I was booked to the max, it was too expensive for many of them, and — maybe most importantly — I couldn't give them the community they were craving. That's when the BBB was born: a combination of an online course library, live coaching support, monthly expert masterclasses, and a 24/7 peer community. In this episode, I share: Why having a signature course can be a total game-changer for your coaching business 3 signs you're ready to start building your own flagship offer 5 key things to think about before you start designing it How your signature course can become the foundation for other programs and offers down the line If you've been feeling the pull to create something bigger than your current 1:1 work — something scalable, sustainable, and uniquely you — this episode will give you the clarity you need to get started. And if you're ready to skip the trial-and-error phase and actually build your course with my help? That's exactly what my Coaching Course Creator (CCC) is for. It's my 8-week guided process to help you nail your niche problem and promise, structure your content, and create a course you can confidently launch. As it turns out, the biggest blocker to outreach isn't time, strategy, or even knowing who to contact. It's fear, specifically the fear of being (or feeling) ‘salesy'. In fact, when I ran a LinkedIn poll, 70% of coaches said this was their number one concern. That fear shows up as discomfort, as overthinking every word of a message, and as procrastination that leaves outreach undone. And still, outreach is not optional if you want to grow your business. Inside this episode, I share why this fear is so common, how to work through it, and the mindset and systems that will help you do outreach without it feeling out of alignment with your values. Listen in to hear more about: ✅ The tension coaches feel when outreach feels “push-y.” ✅ How perfectionism and fear keep you stuck in avoidance. ✅ How outreach can grow your business if you do it consistently. ✅ Ways to view rejection so it feels like part of your growth. ✅ A free set of 30 outreach templates to get you out of overthinking and into action. Even if only a portion of your messages get replies, you'll be building conversations, creating opportunities, and moving your business forward. ➡️ Grab your copy of the 30 customizable outreach templates at elliescarf.com/templates and start sending messages without the overthinking. As always, I'll be back next week with more practical ideas for growing your executive coaching business. And don't forget to reach out and connect with me on LinkedIn.

Send us a textHave you ever felt like your relationship was running on empty, like the emotional gas tank hit “E” and suddenly your partner said, “I need space”? In that moment, everything can feel terrifying. The silence. The distance. The questions you can't stop spinning in your head. But here's the truth: needing space isn't always a sign the relationship is over. More often, it's a survival response, the human need to regroup, refill, and reconnect with ourselves before we can reconnect with anyone else.In this episode of Love Shack Live, we're pulling back the curtain on what “space” really means in relationships. You'll learn:Why requests for space often happen long after the need first appearedHow ignoring our emotional capacity leads to collapse or acting outWhy coping behaviors during separation (from risky choices to pulling away) don't mean love is goneAnd most importantly: how to use this difficult pause as an opportunity for clarity and growthIf you're at a relationship crossroads, navigating conflict, distance, or a partner who says they need time apart, this conversation will help you see space in a whole new way.So here's the question: What if “I need space” isn't the end… but the invitation to a different beginning?Episode Links: They said they needed space. But the real reason isn't what you think. It's not about love fading, it's about missing skills.

High-capacity humans often hold themselves to impossible standards. This episode offers a sacred reframe — the God who called you isn't grading you. He's walking with you, in love.If you lead others, consider:Where might someone on your team or in your family need grace instead of critique today?Mentioned in This Episode:• Episode 29: Trusting the Process When the Progress Is Quiet• Episode 31: The Power of Pattern Interrupts• Episode 34: When You Feel Behind — But You're Actually GrowingIf this episode gave you language you've been missing, please rate and review the show so more high-capacity humans can find it. Middle films are always the most difficult. In this episode Julia Golding and Jacob Rennaker continue their reconsideration of the Peter Jackson trilogy, turning their attention to The Two Towers. They consider the perfect moments and the fails, with one serious criticism which could definitely to revisited if a filmmaker takes it on again. Remember with them the wonder of Rohan, the storming of Isengard, and the introduction of Gollum. What was the big fail? It jarred at the time but now seems even more inappropriate. The Smithsonian Institution has recently been called out by the Trump Administration for pushing "one-sided, divisive political narratives." But American history isn't the only domain in which the Smithsonian is advancing misinformation. The National Museum of Natural History's Hall of Human Origins vastly distorts the scientific evidence on human evolution, seeking to convince visitors that there's nothing special about us as human beings. On today's ID The Future, host Andrew McDiarmid talks to attorney and geologist Dr. Casey Luskin to dissect his explosive new editorial in the New York Post calling on the Smithsonian Museum to stop "miseducating the public" on the history of human beings.
