Jake and Brandon's "short" episode discussing Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon picking up from where Travis and Jake left off in the last episode. They cover getting to Akala Island and the coverage ends after the first visit to the Aether Foundation. Obligatory spoiler warning: its a discussion about plot so, like, ya know, spoilers.
142: Battlefront II, Microtransactions, And Pocket Camp Nothing signifies Christmas more than Black Friday, and Gary knows a thing or two about the terrors and madness of that shopping day. Speaking of Gary, he opens this week after making his return, and talks HOB. He's in love with the game. It's big world has sucked him in. He also played, so you don't have to, Battlefront II, where Brian chips his thoughts in having Redboxed it. The game looks good, but the story leaves something to be desired. Brian finished up Horizon Zero Dawn's DLC. It's the perfect game to play for Christmas, though be on the look out for bear robots. Then Brian and Stephen get into a discussion about Mario Odyssey briefly and then quickly move on to the newly released Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. It's all about the Leaf Tickets. Lastly, Anthony is still going through Pokemon Ultra Sun & Moon. The real horror is the text you still can't skip. The news this week is bleak. Just black Friday deals taking up the spotlight. But the drunk crew is able to suss up some interesting stories to talk about such as, Loot Box issues, Plants vs Zombies creator controversy, an update to Splatoon, and more. The Drunken News Report: Plants vs Zombies Creator Fired by EA for Refusing Pay-to-Win System (Update) Square Enix on Switch: ‘We want to proactively create new IP and reboot past titles,’ ‘Well suited to mid-sized titles’ Belgium's Justice Minister calls for loot box ban in Europe (Updated) Xbox Games with Gold lineup announced for December Translation of Senator Jérôme Durain’s Letter to ARJEL About Loot Boxes Major Updates to Splatoon 2 Announced Extras Creep us on Facebook Stalk us on Twitter Watch us on YouTube Or throw us that review on iTunes or Stitcher Questions, comments, concerns?
