On today’s program, I am talking with Kerrie Willis, Andy Dahl, Cindy Chavez, Sarah Dawson, and Lydia Davis to get an update on PLANT Washington Orchard and Community Garden.

It was my pleasure to speak with a horseman that I have admired for a long time, and one who probably doesn't need an introduction. There are those horseman that you like and respect, and then there are those that you've never heard say a single thing that you didn't agree with. Richard is in that second camp for me. He's the 2005 NRCHA World Champ, and the 2009 Road to the Horse Champion. He's also Sarah Dawson's dad, and his son is a rescue swimmer in the Coast Guard. It's obvious from the results here that there's something to this guy. He's been giving clinics for over 35 years now. He was the Artist in Residence at the Thacher School and ran their horse program for a couple of years. He and his wife have now built a place in Weatherford, TX. Richard is letting his teaching take a back seat so he can focus more on showing in the National Reined Cow Horse Assoc. and continue his learning about horses and horsemanship. He remains consistently at the top of the leaderboard in reined cow horse national events. After graduating from high school at 16, Sarah departed home, taking with her all of the support and knowledge both her parents, Richard & Cheryl Winters imparted on her. She worked with famed professionals Doug Williamson, Carol Rose, & Sandy Collier. She advanced her skills & gained a respected reputation nationwide as a first-rate colt starter. Traversing the United States on colt starting contracts, Sarah grew her reputation and sharpened her showmanship skills, never wavering in her dedication to truly understanding the mind & movement of the horse as she had been brought up to do. This week we interviewed Dana Lambert and Sarah Dawson. They left the game in episode 5 of Survivor Philippines. At one point Dana appeared to be in control of the women's alliance on Kalabaw, but she ended up taking herself out of the game for medical reasons.
