In ACTS 26, we find an account of the Apostle Paul sharing his testimony with Agrippa. It is a great study in how to give your testimony. He shares what his life was life before Christ, when he encountered Christ, and what his life has been like since he met Christ. We could take this passage and preach a wonderful sermon on how to develop your testimony, but we are not. Rather we are going to listen in to what Paul shares and see the spiritual progress in his life defined in stages.

Paul defends the gospel before King Agrippa. He describes how the Lord appeared to him, that the message he preaches is from the Old Testament that Jesus fulfills it, and that Paul is to be sent with the light of Jesus. So too, we are sent as the light to take the Light.

Jesus declared that his disciples would be his witnesses “to the ends of the earth.” Early Christians lived out this proclamation in powerful and palpable ways. Today we struggle to witness to those close to us, let alone to those at the ends of the earth. This series offers a glimpse into ways early Christians witnessed.
