Things are bleak, maman. The snake has eaten it's tail so hard it's currently licking it's chin. They have ten episodes, and they've now used one to denigrate The Original Series and re-use every tired holodeck story from the 90s series all in one. We were not amused, maman. Space, the last frontier. La'an gets to alpha-test new Starfleet technology that has a lot of promise and a lot of bugs, and maybe a safety issue or two. Captain Bubbles and her Redshirts discuss and review the fourth episode the 3rd season titled "A Space Adventure Hour." The crew discuss how despite Paul Welsey nailing William Shatner, Jake lamenting another holodeck failsafe episode, and SP labeling it as a misplaced episode in the season, Shannon absolutely loved the murder mystery. The trio got exactly what they didn't want from La'An and spock to boot. But there was a heartfelt Scotty rehabilitation, a little help from Uhura, and a great round of Star Trek Trivial pursuit. Star Trek Strange New Worlds season 3, episode 4 brings us a very whimsical Holodeck style episode with a "Who Dun it?" murder mystery. La'an is chosen to help test out the holodeck with the program and settings of her choice. She decides to put together a mystery from the collection of her favorite novels "The Amelia Moon Mysteries". What ensues is a satire of Star Trek and, specifically, TOS as she tries to figure out who killed the studio head, Tony Hart. He is responsible for helping create the show "The Last Frontier" (an obvious spoof of TOS as mentioned above). What ensues is sure to make you question what exactly you're watching. Oh ya...and there's a twist! We are joined in this episode by special guest Ken Purdie (Zach's cousin-in-law).
