Defenders: Doctrine of Salvation (Part 3): Regeneration and Arminianism
Many listeners asked us to go deeper into exosomes, and this episode expands on everything that most brands avoid talking about: count, consistency, purity, and microRNA composition. We explain why exosomes on a label don't mean much without verified numbers, and how dose shapes whether the skin actually receives a biologically meaningful message. We walk through why platelet-derived exosomes offer the clearest communication to human skin, why microRNAs matter more than growth factors alone, and how publishing full sequencing data creates a new standard for transparency in longevity skincare. We also explore the synergy between exosomes and NAD+, how cellular energy drives repair, and why combining messenger and fuel creates a regenerative loop the skin can sustain. This episode gives listeners a clear, science-driven understanding of how exosome formulas should be evaluated and what truly defines high-performance regenerative skincare. As founders of Young Goose Skincare, we focus on bringing advanced longevity science into daily routines through transparency, validated potency, and clinically guided innovation. We Also Discuss:(00:19) Why “Exosomes on the Label” Tells You Almost Nothing(01:48) The Dose Problem: How Most Exosome Serums Miss Biological Activity(03:11) Why microRNA is the Real Engine Behind Skin Repair(05:16) The Transparency Gap in Skincare, and How We're Closing It(09:21) Exosomes as Messages, NAD+ as the Battery(12:21) Clearing Senescent Cells and Restoring Youthful FunctionFind more from Young Goose:VAMPIRE EXOSOMES → Professional Exosome Serum for Regeneration and Post-Treatment Recovery → Vampire ExosomesUse code PODCAST10 to get 10% off your first purchase, and if you're a returning customer use the code PODCAST5 to get 5% off at https://www.younggoose.com/ Instagram: @young_goose_skincare
David Daoud reports on Hezbollah's regeneration in Lebanon, aided by Iranian funding and weapons. He criticizes the Lebanese government's inaction and the international community's appeasement strategy. Daoud argues that failing to disarm Hezbollah to avoid civil war only guarantees Lebanon's slow deterioration into a failed state. 1950
Bristol Temple Quarter is the biggest redevelopment the city has seen in at least a generation, and will transform a vast area around Temple Meads station, St Philips Marsh and the Dings beyond recognition. Much of this has been untouched for decades, and while it's mostly current or former industrial land, it also sits next-door to some of the city's poorest communities around Lawrence Hill and Barton Hill. This week on Bristol Unpacked, we talk to the woman overseeing the massive project. Lyn Garner is chair of the Temple Quarter partnership, which brings together the city council, Homes England, Network Rail, and the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority. So what impact will the Temple Quarter have on the lives of people in the city? What is it going to do for Bristol's big issues – like housing, jobs, education and transport? And with the plans going big on words like equity and inclusivity, how can these kinds of schemes bring on board and deliver for the people most affected by them? The Bristol Cable is Bristol's community-owned cooperative newsroom – fiercely independent journalism that puts people before profit. Since 2014, we've been holding power to account through investigative reporting, community campaigns, and democratic media ownership. Because when journalism serves the community, not shareholders, real change becomes possible.Support independent journalism and help us bring more vital conversations to Bristol: become a Bristol Cable member.

Many listeners have been curious about exosomes, and this episode offers a simple, science-based foundation for understanding them. We explore what exosomes are, how they act as communication packets between cells, and why they play such an important role in skin rejuvenation. We walk through the three main categories of exosomes found in skincare, plant, stem cell, and platelet-derived, and discuss how each behaves differently inside the skin. We explain what happens when cellular signals weaken with age, what we've learned through PRP and regenerative medicine, and why not every exosome speaks the same biological language. We also touch on dose, purity, and consistency, which shape how effective an exosome formula can be.This episode gives listeners a clear, approachable starting point for navigating this rapidly growing area of skincare and understanding what truly supports long-term repair. As founders of Young Goose Skincare, we focus on bringing advanced regenerative science into everyday skincare through education and clinically guided innovation. We Also Discuss:(00:00) Integrating Dermatology, Health Optimization, and Longevity Medicine(04:38) How Skin Both Reflects and Influences Systemic Health(08:39) The Connection Between Stress, Cortisol, and Skin Function(10:17) Clarifying Sunscreen Science, Hormonal Changes, and Menopause(13:51) Defining True Prejuvenation and the Role of Softwave Technology(19:40) Exploring RLX201 (ReQ) and Innovations in Skin Longevity(32:20) Linking Inflammation, Oxidative Stress, and Visible Aging(37:56) Applying Critical Thinking to the Future of Longevity Medicine(46:18) Rethinking Fillers, Structural Balance, and Subtle Aesthetic Enhancement(58:42) Building Longevity Habits for Lifelong Skin HealthFind more from Young Goose:VAMPIRE EXOSOMES → Professional Exosome Serum for Regeneration and Post-Treatment Recovery → Vampire ExosomesUse code PODCAST10 to get 10% off your first purchase, and if you're a returning customer use the code PODCAST5 to get 5% off at https://www.younggoose.com/ Instagram: @young_goose_skincare

Use this link to send us thoughts or questions!Cadence is a heart-led facilitator, healing practitioner, and aspiring crone who is driven by her dedication to social and ecological justice, decolonization, and cultural regeneration. After working tirelessly to try to save the world for 15 years, she experienced complete burnout. As she now stands on the other side, she is committed to providing care to changemakers to help them feel resourced and resilient so they can keep showing up in service to a better world. Her work is guided by her studies and experience in: Deep Nature Connection, Grief Tending, Somatic Therapy, Animism, Rites of Passage, Ecopsychology, Indigenous Solidarity, Ancestral Healing, and Ritual Practice.I first met Cadence at the Forest of Voices song circle gathering on Salt Spring Gathering in the summer of 2025, specifically a workshop she co-facilitated called Medicine Songs for the Brave Revolution. Every time I meet with Cadence, I'm struck by a lush quality of presence and depth in our connection. This recorded conversation, rooted in the questions of what is the world we want to live in and what is our role in ushering that in, was no exception. We touched on a number of l themes, including the medicine of song (Cadence shares a few with us!), being part of the sacred web of life and nature connection, learning from Indigenous culture, healing from burnout, depression, and anxiety, the healing experience of being part of the Fairy Creek blockade, and our role as both death doulas of empire and birth doulas of a regenerative, healthy culture. The theme we dig into most is the role of rites of passage and initiation in helping people recognize their purpose and unique gifts for the world. Cadence wants to live in a world or culture that includes initiation and rites of passage, and she also recognizes that it will take time to rebuild the healthy, intact, regenerative culture capable of holding those rites with depth and integrity, and of fully welcoming people home when they return.Cadence's Website: www.innercadence.com Cadence's Instagram: @innercadenceThe gathering that Cadence and I met each other at: https://www.forestofvoicesgathering.com/
Hezbollah's Quiet Regeneration Under Naim Qassem: Colleagues David Daoud and Bill Roggio report that since the ceasefire began, Hezbollah has received at least $2 billion from Iran and is actively rearming and regenerating its forces in Lebanon; the terror group is focusing on acquiring drone swarms and other asymmetrical weapons that are cheap to produce and difficult for Israel to counter, while Hezbollah's new leader Naim Qassem is leveraging his "bookish" and underestimated persona to lower the temperature and allow the group to rebuild without attracting the same level of scrutiny as his predecessor. 1867

That's the sound of snapping shrimp - music to oyster ears. Dr Dominic McAfee has been playing this sound underwater to help regenerate natural oyster reefs. He's been doing this work for years, but recently, there's been an upswell in interest, as the South Australian government tries to increase resilience against a harmful algal bloom. The ongoing environmental crisis has killed hundreds of species and resulted in tens, possibly hundreds, of thousands of marine deaths. Dr McAfee says South Australia used to be home to huge oyster reefs, which would have curbed the intensity of the algal bloom because they naturally filter the water. He's speaking here with SBS's Tee Mitchell, who started by asking about the role and extent of oyster reefs before colonisation.
In this conversation, John Tran talks about joining Vita Coco to help evolve their sustainability and social impact programs at the same time that were becoming a publicly traded company and going through the rigorous B Corp Certification process. He shared how they shifted their impact efforts from a collection of passion projects to a more coordinated and comprehensive ESG framework focused on protecting natural Resources, building thriving communities, and championing health & wellness. John then detailed some impact programs, like their ambitious goal of distributing and planting 10 million seedlings and trees globally! This conversation also covers the health benefits of coconut water, some big challenges in the coconut industry, and the importance of collaborating with local organizations to maximize impact in farming communities. John wraps up by sharing that a better world is one in which everyone is thriving, economically, socially, and beyond.Takeaways:Vita Coco became B Corp Certified and a publicly-traded, Public Benefit Corporation in 2021.Vita Coco's ESG framework focused on protecting natural Resources, building thriving communities, and championing health & wellness.Coconut water has 3.5X the electrolyte of common sports drinks.Aging trees have lower yields, which makes it harder to keep up with demand and reduces farmer income. Over a million seedlings have been distributed, with a goal of 10 million seedlings by 2030.The Vita Coco Community Foundation was founded to make sure that everyone in the coconut industry is thriving.Collaboration with local organizations is crucial for their impact programs. They partner with indigenous communities to train farmers in regenerative agriculture practices.Sound bites:“As brands come online with B Corp certification, it really gives us some kind of litmus to understand where we stand within the sustainability and social governance spaces.”“When you have many passionate people who are driving their passion projects, there isn't always a clear framework in terms of what we're driving towards.”“I very much see myself as kind of an accelerator to be able to support a lot of the projects that are existing within the organization.”“Coconut farming communities are just so inherent to our business, right? They are the heart of our business. And without them, there's really no VitaCoco.”“We want to create more economic empowerment within farming communities and more upward mobility by way of our impact programs.”“The great thing about coconut water is natural hydration. It has three and a half times the electrolytes of more common sports drinks.”“Finding what you're good at and what you're passionate about is really one of the keys to success of this role in any kind of role you'll have within sustainability.”Links:John Tran on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-tran-07047715/Vita Coco - https://vitacoco.com/Vita Coco on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-vita-coco-company/Vita Coco on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/VitaCocoUS/Vita Coco on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/vitacocoVita Coco on X - https://x.com/vitacocoVita Coco on SnapChat - https://www.snapchat.com/@vitacocoVita Coco on TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@vitacoco?…Brands for a Better World Episode Archive - http://brandsforabetterworld.com/Brands for a Better World on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/brand-for-a-better-world/Modern Species - https://modernspecies.com/Modern Species on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/modern-species/Gage Mitchell on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/gagemitchell/…Print Magazine Design Podcasts - https://www.printmag.com/categories/printcast/…Heritage Radio Network - https://heritageradionetwork.org/Heritage Radio Network on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/heritage-radio-network/posts/Heritage Radio Network on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/HeritageRadioNetworkHeritage Radio Network on X - https://x.com/Heritage_RadioHeritage Radio Network on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/heritage_radio/Heritage Radio Network on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/@heritage_radioSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

We have seen face taping explode across social media, yet very few people understand what real Japanese face taping actually does for the skin. Most viral videos show shortcuts or stickers that never interact with fascia, muscle tension, or lymphatic flow. In this episode, we explore the method behind true face taping and why the right tape, placement, and technique can support healthier aging at a biological level. In this episode of Biohacking Beauty, we sit down with Olga from Natural Face Bible to unpack how Japanese medical grade tape lifts the upper tissue layers, boosts blood flow, reduces stagnation, and encourages lymphatic drainage. Olga explains how this simple practice can soften dynamic wrinkles, support TMJ tension, and optimize circulation overnight. She also shares why technique matters, how anatomy guides proper placement, and why face taping pairs so well with facial massage, gua sha, and high quality skincare. We also dive into common mistakes, what to avoid for skin barrier safety, how to integrate face taping with or without injectables, and the reason this tool works best as part of a long term routine rather than a quick hack. This conversation gives clarity to a trend that has been misunderstood and reveals how consistent, correct taping can become a powerful addition to any longevity focused skincare approach. We Also Discuss:(00:00) Why Japanese Face Taping Works When Stickers Do Not(03:42) How Tape Lifts Fascia, Improves Flow, and Reduces Stagnation(07:15) Dynamic Wrinkles, Muscle Tension, and TMJ Support(11:28) Choosing the Correct Japanese Medical Grade Tape(15:04) Safe Application for Sensitive, Acne Prone, or Reactive Skin(19:10) How Taping Interacts with Facial Massage and Gua Sha(24:36) What to Avoid After Botox, Peels, or Microneedling(29:58) Techniques That Protect the Skin Barrier Long Term(33:21) Turning Face Taping into a Consistent Longevity HabitFind more from Young Goose:VAMPIRE EXOSOMES → Professional Exosome Serum for Regeneration and Post-Treatment Recovery → Vampire ExosomesUse code PODCAST10 to get 10% off your first purchase, and if you're a returning customer use the code PODCAST5 to get 5% off at https://www.younggoose.com/ Instagram: @young_goose_skincareFind more from Olga, Natural Face Bible:Website: thenaturalfaces.com Tik Tok: @naturalfacebible Instagram: naturalfacebible You Tube: @naturalfacebible
Alejandro Sánchez Alvarado, Ph.D., argues that real progress in understanding regeneration comes from studying whole organisms rather than cells grown under artificial conditions. Sánchez Alvarado shows how observations from intact animals reveal organizing rules that narrow laboratory systems can miss. He presents evidence that stem cells in a studied animal lack detectable junctions with neighboring cells and instead respond to signals that travel across tissues. Sánchez Alvarado links this communication to extracellular vesicles that carry RNA and to metabolic support involving creatine, highlighting how distant tissues influence repair. Using imaging and molecular analyses, he tracks how signals move through the body and how specific cell populations change state during recovery. Sánchez Alvarado concludes that broad, comparative research is essential for uncovering general principles that govern how adult tissues restore form and function. Lebanon's Failure to Disarm Hezbollah Amid Regeneration — John Batchelor, Bill Roggio, David Daoud — Roggio documents that the Lebanese government continues to systematically refuse enforcement of Hezbollahdisarmament provisions negotiated in the ceasefire agreement one year prior, instead employing rhetorical frameworks of "dialogue and consensus." Daoud reports that the Trump administration is growing impatient with this intransigence, explicitly setting deadlines for Lebanese compliance and action. Batchelor emphasizes that Hezbollah is regenerating with unprecedented speed, focusing on easily manufactured assets including drone swarms, rendering the Lebanesestrategic concept of "containment" operationally meaningless and strategically ineffective in limiting Hezbollahcapabilities. 1902 CARACAS
Hezbollah Regeneration and Israel's Targeted Killing of Hashem Safieddine — John Batchelor, Bill Roggio, David Daoud — Daoud reports that Hezbollah is actively regenerating military capabilities throughout Lebanon, systematically violating the ceasefire agreement through infrastructure reconstruction and weapons procurement. Roggiodocuments that Israel successfully targeted and killed Hashem Safieddine, identified as Hezbollah's top military logistics officer overseeing reconstruction operations. Batchelor notes that Iran has reportedly allocated $2 billion for Hezbollah reconstruction and operational purposes, demonstrating Tehran's commitment to sustaining the organization despite military setbacks. Daoud details Israeli Defense Force operations including air strikes, drone operations, and ground-based policing activities against Hezbollah assets throughout Lebanon. 1836 BEIRUT

Hezbollah Regeneration Efforts and the Fallout from a Targeted Beirut Strike — David Daoud, Bill Roggio — David Daoud reports that Israel killed Hezbollah's top military commander, Hashem Safieddine, in Beirut, marking an expansion of Israeli operations into the Lebanese capital. This escalation reflects Hezbollah's comprehensive regeneration efforts—including receiving billions in funding from Iran and developing domestic drone production capabilities—which are outpacing Israeli degradation operations. Hezbollah and Hamas view Russia's success in Ukraine as strategically beneficial because it diminishes American global hegemony.
