Bu bölümde, kitap kulübümüzün yazarla buluşma etkinliğinde ağırladığımız Dünya ve Avrupa Bilim ve Sanat akademileri üyesi, beyin ve hipofiz cerrahı Prof. Dr. Türker Kılıç ile söyleşimizden bir derlemeyi sunuyorum.Son yıllarda yapılan kapsamlı çalışmalara rağmen beyin vücudumuzun hakkında en az şey bildiğimiz parçası olmaya devam ediyor. En büyük gelişme ise bu çalışamlarda sadece beyni değil tüm yaşamı anlamamıza kapı açan yeni bir matematiğin keşfedilmiş olması.Türker Hoca, yaşamın aslında bir enformasyon sistemi olduğu fikrini ele alarak, beyin nasıl düşünce üretiyorsa yaşamın da aynı şekilde gerçeklik ürettiğini vurguluyor. Bu bakış açısı, modern bilimin temel taşlarını yeniden gözden geçirmemizi sağlıyor. Peki, yapay zeka gerçekten “yapay” mı? Kılıç'a göre, her enformasyon işleyen sistem er ya da geç zeka üretiyor. Bu durumda, insan zekası ile yapay zekanın gelecekte nasıl bir etkileşim içinde olacağını anlamak büyük önem taşıyor.Eğitim sistemimiz ise başka bir önemli konu. Mevcut sistemin sahip olmaya dayalı bir yapı üzerine kurulu olduğunu, ancak çocukları geleceğe hazırlamak için sahip olmaya değil anlamlandırmaya dayalı bir modelin gerekliliğini vurguluyor. İhtiyacımız olan eğitim modelini şöyle tanımlıyor: Merakla başlayıp çalışkanlıkla zeki olmanın üzerine eklemlendiği, yaratıcılık ve iyilik haliyle devam eden, anlamlandırmayla sonuçlanan bir eğitim.Hocanın canlı hayat, bilinç, yaşamın anlamı üzerine dile getirdiği düşünceler çok etkileyici. [00:17:52] Andrew asks what Kevin and Julie think the hardest part of will be being on the program committee at the conference. Kevin hopes his committee responsibilities won't impact his conference experience too much, and Julie anticipates the challenge of not having as much personal downtime during the conference due to her responsibilities.
