Este podcast presenta algunas ideas y recomendaciones para un manejo más eficiente del tiempo. Presenta un listado de posibles alarmas que pueden ayudarnos a analizar nuestra propia situación para saber qué tan consientes estamos de nuestro manejo del mismo. Finalmente, Edwin y Paula comparten con la audiencia de Bettervida cuales han sido sus estrategias para poder hacer muchas cosas y buscar el balance de su vida familiar, de pareja y laboral.   ¿Estamos Cortos de tiempo siempre? ¿Nunca nos alcanza un día para hacer lo que necesitamos? ¿Estamos madrugando o acostándonos tarde para que el día nos alcance? ¿Tenemos la sensación que queremos hacer algo y el tiempo pasa sin lograrlo?   Banderas Rojas (Red Flags) Si algunas de las ideas que exponemos abajo resuenan en su mente, tal vez usted tenga algo que mejorar en su forma de manejar eficientemente su tiempo. ·         Muchas ideas y proyectos en mente que nunca ha implementado ·         Cuando siempre pone a los demás primero antes que todos sus proyectos ·         Cuando solamente estamos pensando en trabajo y nos vemos poniendo horas excesivas al trabajo ·         Cuando no se cumplen las metas propuestas en determinada fecha y nos vemos pidiendo extensiones a las fechas límites (Deadlines) ·         Cuando han pasado 10+ años y nuestra situación sigue igual sin mayores cambios ·         Cuando nos pasamos el tiempo tomando descansos más de lo que gastamos el tiempo produciendo ·         Cuando el tiempo productivo lo gastamos más en actividades lúdicas ·         Cuando ya ha perdido clientes o contactos por no hacer un seguimiento a tiempo   Recomendaciones Generales 1.       Llevar una agenda/calendario o encontrar un método que funcione para uno 2.       Hacer listas de chequeo (Check Lists) clasificando lo urgente, lo importante y lo que definitivamente puede esperar 3.       Evitar procrastinar al máximo 4.       Tome acción y deje de planear tanto 5.       Saber claramente cuál es el momento del día en que somos más efectivos 6.       Salgase de las tareas tediosas que generan ruido y desorden 7.       Controle el perfeccionismo. Dejar de sobre analizar y sobre calcular para actuar! 8.       Dejar de clasificar todo como importante. Es necesario decir que no a veces 9.       Hacer un record de lo que se va haciendo y logrando. Trello.com   10.   Evitar distracciones (celular, notificaciones, redes sociales) 11.   Aprenda a delegar. Compartir tareas. Empoderar la gente para que pueda hacer las cosas bien 12.   Agradecer lo que se tiene en el momento presente para no agobiarnos con los que no hemos hecho 13.   Conviértase usted en prioridad. No procrastine con la solución de un problema de salud. 14.   Lleve una vida saludable y balanceada comiendo bien, haciendo ejercicio y durmiendo lo suficiente. El ejercicio generalmente le da más energía para que pueda hacer más cosas en un día. 15.   Disfrute de todo aquello que le da felicidad (compartir con amigos, leer un libro, disfrutar de la naturaleza, hacerse un masaje, ir a clase de yoga, caminar, etc.)   Que le funciona a Edwin y a Paula para un manejo más eficiente del tiempo ·         Tomar acción y actuar ·         Tener siempre un sueño, una meta o un plan juntos que perseguimos ·         Llevar agendas de todos los miembros de la familia ·         Dividirnos las noches de la semana para actividades de cada uno ·         Flexibilidad en los trabajos que tenemos ·         Hacer deporte y comer sano ·         Sacarle tiempo siempre a la familia y amigos (a esto jamás le decimos NO!)
