We meant to. And we didn't. Maybe next time!
40% statistic from the National Resources Defense Council. Sustainability is one of my biggest passions, and it's something I always want to talk about. So, on this brief episode, I share some of my thoughts on food systems and waste.
This episode was a really fun one for me to do. My longtime friends Alex Sipes and Collin Sleasman joined me to talk about, well, a lot of stuff. Music and guitars, songwriting, going back to school, and what it really means to be busy. Collin moved away from Arizona a few months ago, and this conversation was the first time the three of us had a conversation with each other outside of text messaging. But, long before anyone moved or even finished high school, I played drums in a band that I started with Collin that Alex later joined. We played together for years, recorded some songs, and even did some touring abroad. These guys are really good friends of mine and I have gone through some very formative experiences and times with them, and it only seemed right that they guested on my podcast. Enjoy.
Cam, Austin, and Chris go over favorite destinations, when to fly or drive, getting a good deal, youth hostels, and a host of travel tips.
Moving is a tough, stressful ordeal. It's especially hard when you have to move for a new job. Jake and Kelley helped me unpack what goes into relocating for our career and why it might be worth it.
On this episode, I brought back my good friend Jessica Braboy, who you might have heard on the Cooking and Nutrition episode. Jessica is a wholistic health afficionado and we had a great talk on self-care and stress management. Life is full of challenges, both big and small, and sometimes we don't realize how they're taking a toll on our minds and bodies. I didn't realize until part way through the episode how tense I was and how much weight I was carrying on my shoulders. Jessica did a great job helping me cope, and I hope you get something out of this episode too.

Cam, Millie, and Jeremy dive into credit cards, taxes, and budgeting. Disclaimer: We are not financial professionals trying to give advice. This is just four people sharing our own best practices with each other.
Chris, Siobhan, and Yoonki recount what it was like to work with each other and why they don't anymore.
Jessica Braboy and Alex Sipes join the show to discuss upgrading from instant ramen and cooking a real meal. We talk about great ingredients to buy, quick and easy recipes, and meal delivery services like Blue Apron, Sunbasket, and Butcherbox. Surfer gangs also come up for some reason.
