Was hat Massentierhaltung mit New Work zu tun? Michael explains why a statute of limitations exists for both criminal and civil cases. Do you know what you were doing 30 years ago? Eric Adams should not be charged with 30 year old "allegations" of sexual assault. Donald Trump was charged under the same law that expired last week. Why the sudden increase in sexual assault charges? The New York law is about to expire.Public schools maybe on their last legs and it's not for the reason you think. It's chronic absenteeism. Too many kids are not going to school. Why?Millennials want more money to be happy than any other generation. Why? How much money would make you happy?

Verder gaat het nog heel even over Even Tot Hier. Support the show: https://krant.nlSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On the occassion of President Joseph Biden's 81st birthday, re-upping some observations on the first and last Silent Generation POTUS. (Even if he only made the Silent cutoff by about 6 weeks.) ===================================== President Joseph Biden is the first President from the Silent Generation, and presumably the last. Is that going to be a problem, here in the Fourth Turning? Perhaps not, considering how little we understand about how leaders change in the later Elder period of life. His governing style might not be the standard for how the Artist archetype is expected to manifest. Here's the excerpt again: “As the forces of history amass under Boom leadership, the Silent can remind Boomers of kindness, 13ers of conscience, Millenials of caution. The danger will lie in any attempt by aging Silent leaders to get too much in the way of the thickening forces of history - for example, if an eightyish President (or Supreme Court) insists on scrupulous process at a moment when younger generations begin to coalesce around the need for decisive action. The last time this happened, during the Presidency of old Compromiser James Buchanan, the foot dragging of elder Adaptives helped foment the most destructive crisis in American History. The same could occur if antiquarian Silent leadership helps usher in the Crisis of 2020.” Neil Howe & William Strauss, Generations, published 1991, page 395 the Silent generation section of “Completing the Millennial Cycle” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_presidents_of_the_United_States_by_age Reagan's meetings with Gorbachev in the last 18 months of office. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_Summit_(1987) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_Summit_(1988) Mitch McConnell was born 2/20/1942, is a more definite silent, if only by a few months. Nanci Pelosi was born March 26 1940 a solid Silent Chuck Schumer was born November 23 1950 and is a very solid Boomer…but even he is 70 The generational attributes come from Chapter 12 of Generations, the last two rows of Figure 12-7, Peer Personalities, by Generational Type

"Adulting is Hard!" Is that this generation of young adults, aka Gen Z and Millenials, really believes? Ever since we turned 'adult' into a verb, society has increasingly made it seem that being a responsible adult is something too hard for young people to handle. But is it true, or just an easy excuse to not step up to the challenge of growing up? In this episode, Chris Alessi and his wife Richelle sit down to examine a recent viral video that seems to exemplify this mindset - and explain why they aren't buying it as young adults. If you like this, you'll love: Year 1: The Highs and Lows of Parenting as a Young CoupleStay or Go? We are joined once again by the very funny and charismatic Andrea from the TNG Podcast! But instead of Star Trek, we've asked her in helping us review an episode of the NBC sitcom classic Frasier! Part of the Must See TV block, Frasier was a spin-off of the megahit Cheers! Starring Kelsey Grammar and David Hyde Pierce, it truly was one of the best sitcoms of the 90's. We explore the season 2 favorite, the Innkeepers, where the Crane brothers open their own restaurant. 2GG Podcast: Test Is Brooke a Millenial? by Two Girls and a Guy
In this special episode, listeners have the opportunity to tune into an insightful webinar on the trends for fundraising in the nonprofit sector moving into the new year. Moderated by Colleen Carroll, lead of NXUnite from Nexus Marketing, Jeff Porter joins the discussion with AJ Steinberg of Queen Bee Fundraising, Jennifer Rubin from 360 Philanthropy Group, and Tosha Anderson with The Charity CFO. This powerhouse of professionals with various experience in the nonprofit world delivers an abundance of information packed with wisdom and practical strategies for planning and executing successful events. Some of the key considerations for nonprofit fundraising for 2024 is to plan events at both a macro and micro level, clarifying the objective and integrating it into every aspect of the event. When it comes to long-term planning, it's important to take into account diverse donor populations, technology developments and economic trends. Detailed yearly plans provide a holistic view so that events aren't negatively impacting the success of other fundraisers. Working with board members can be both enriching and challenging. Clearly communicating an event's objective to the board is an effective way to redirect less than helpful ideas and input. Finally, utilizing analytics from each event is a strategic way to make necessary adjustments for future events. As the traditional gala is on its way out and new generations of donors seek more meaningful experiences, the approach to event planning must change. Building in flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing times provides the best environment for hosting an unforgettable fundraiser. Main Topics Key considerations for nonprofit fundraising for 2024 (04:00) Building a multi-year event plan (11:50) Lead time for event planning (19:00) Collaborating with board members in event planning (29:10) Role of data analytics (36:55) Fun ideas for Millenial or Gen Z events (42:40) Future projections for nonprofit events (48:40) Episode Links https://nxunite.com/webinars-and-panels/ https://www.queenbeefundraising.com/ https://360philanthropygroup.com/ https://thecharitycfo.com/ If you enjoyed this episode please subscribe and leave us a review in the Apple podcasts app.Listen, rate, and subscribe!Apple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts

We're taking a break from our regularly-scheduled content to tell you about our travels! First, we share our experience hosting the Gilmore Girls cast panel, including which cast member has an alter ego. Then we move on to Italy, where we found bidets quite overwhelming. Florence had both the best and worst food, including sandwiches made by sloths. We encountered a few scams involving roses, trains, and Colosseums. Wine is pretty much free, though it sometimes comes with a lil bit o' cough. And Stacey can't stop thinking about that man in the window...Here's the story about the actor from Gladiator.Want more content? Sing up for our Patreon!
