Michelle Rosenthal: Argentine tango to reach a "weird state of bliss" and overcome trauma.

Michelle Rosenthal shares her stories and strategies for recovering from trauma. BIO: After a trauma that included a near death experience I embarked on 17 years of being unable to speak about what had happened to me -- until something in me finally understood that in order to heal the red hot mess of my present I had to make peace with my past. It took me 10+ years of knocking around different treatments, modalities and approaches to finally create my own unique process that led me to achieve 100% recovery from trauma and PTSD. Now, I take everything I learned back then -- and add it to all of the deep professional training and experience I've gained in the past 15 years -- and pour it into the many ways I can teach you how to identify, craft, refine, and tweak your trauma healing process so that you can discover the way out of triggers, symptoms, and terror and into freedom, peace and calm. What does that really mean? That I've added up all of my recovery pet peeves and turned them upside down to offer you easy ways to learn how trauma changes the brain, how you can reclaim control, plus how you can develop a structured formula that can free you from (years) of trauma programming. And then create the post-trauma identity that allows you to finally lead the life you were meant to be living. Through gentle, comfortably-paced, and deeply transformative (holistic) brain, mind and body work it is possible to alter your thoughts, feelings and behaviors without overwhelm, wasted time, or endless hours of talk.If you want go from feeling hopeless to hopeful, lonely to connected and like a burden to a blessing, then go to 1-on-1 coaching, go to www.thrivewithleo.com. It's no secret that pandemic job losses are affecting more women than men, with women losing employment at a rate 1.8 times greater than men. And even before the pandemic, job loss was proven to be an issue that often disproportionately affected women. A 2018 study by Fortune found that female CEOs are 45% more likely to get fired than their male counterparts, even when their companies are performing well. Job loss is a common experience faced by women professionals spanning a wide-range of industries, interests, and experience levels. Which is why Robin Merle set out to destigmatize conversations surrounding being fired in her new book, Involuntary Exit: A Woman's Guide to Thriving After Being Fired (She Writes Press, Oct. 19, 2021). A fast-paced and digestible self-help book, “Involuntary Exit” is based on Robin's own expertise and her interviews with accomplished women who were suddenly severed from their organizations and navigated their way back to success. Rush's Timeless Wisdom - Raising Minimum Wage Causes Job Loss, Wal-Mart Will Now Just Surround Chicago

RUSH: AP: ‘The City Council brushed aside warnings from Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to approve an ordinance that makes Chicago the biggest city in the nation to require big-box retailers to pay a ‘living wage.' The ordinance, which passed 35-14 Wednesday after three hours of impassioned debate, requires mega-retailers to pay wages of at least $10 an hour plus $3 in fringe benefits,' $3 in fringe benefits? ‘by mid-2010. It would only apply to companies with more than $1 billion in annual sales and stores of at least 90,000 square feet. ‘It's trying to get the largest companies in America to pay decent wages,' Ald[erman] Toni Preckwinkle said.' No, it's not. ‘The minimum wage in Illinois is $6.50 an hour and the federal minimum is $5.15. Mayor Richard M. Daley and others warned the living wage proposal would drive jobs and desperately needed development from some of the city's poorest neighborhoods and lead giants like Wal-Mart to abandon the city.' It's exactly right. Wal-Mart will ring the city. Wal-Mart will surround the city, but they will not go there. (Laughing.) This has nothing to do with a ‘livable wage.' This has nothing to do with making big companies pay a livable wage. This is all about unions. This is all about the Democrats being loyal to unions. I think the ACORN group was behind this, a huge liberal group.
