Sokka lies because he believes he's justified, despite their spirit guide's distrust of human intentions. But books and scrolls get sidelined when Sokka uncovers "the darkest day in Fire Nation history" is written in the stars – and coming soon! Looks like the "Moon Problem" could give Aang the edge he needs to face the Fire Lord. Intelligence gathered, Toph holds the fort long enough for GAang to escape Wan Shi Tong's talons... but her sand-blown senses prevent her saving Appa from those pesky sandbenders! With their furry-friend/means-of-travel captured, Team Avatar's is left stranded in the desert. May Professor Zei rest in peace.

Zuko looks for honor in all the wrong places. The Earth nation has room for all sorts - except for folks who play with fire. Flashbacks teach us about an ideal mother, a twisted sister, and a sinister second son with ambitions too big for his britches. What exactly happened to shake up the line of succession? The Prince of Angst may have a good handle on his twin blades, but he's got a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone... but we believe, Zuko has room to grow.
It's Fight Night at Earth Rumble 6! The Gaang arrives in a new city looking to get schooled in rock kicking. Aang is not impressed with Master Yu's teaching at the local bender academy, so the team follows a lead to the Pro Earthbending Ring. The Boulder knocks out the likes of Big Bad Hippo and Fire Nation Man, but then gets pummeled by the reigning Champion—THE BLIND BANDIT! Aang knows Toph is the teacher he's been searching for, but her richy-rich parents, the Beifongs, ain't having it. Even after Toph puts the smack down on a whole band of Earthbending pros, her dad can't see she's a total rock prodigy. But now that her true prowess is out in the open, Toph's gonna follow those good vibrations and offer her tutelage to the twinkle-toed Avatar.
Gaang gets lost in the swamp. After seeing visions of loved ones lost (and persons unknown), tackling a swamp monster, roasting possum chicken with some newfound kinfolk, and embracing the interconnectivity of all living things, Team Avatar returns to familiar lands. Meanwhile, Zuko isn't yet jiving with his new refugee lifestyle, so he dons a blue mask and nabs a fancy-shmancy tea set for the Dragon of the West. Aang reckons with rumors his past life committed murder and gets thrown in jail. Sokka sets to sleuthing without his trusty boomerang. Can Aang step into some very large boots and clear the good Avatar name, or will he be boiled in oil to a crispy golden brown? We'll see in this special two-in-one episode so we can all get on to THE BLIND BANDIT already :)
Omashu's been overrun by some Fire Nation thugs. While Azula recruits her former schoolmates to hunt down Zuko, the city comes down with an entirely curable case of Pentapox. Momo kidnaps a baby by accident, and Aang learns there's power in doing absolutely nothing. But it turns out some Fire Nation soldiers are good and this COULD be Aang's only chance to learn fire bending. Will he shoot fire out of his fingertips?
Serious dad vibes make Aang feel like yesterday's news, what with all the pelts and tales and stewed sea prunes. Bato of the Water Tribe tells it like it is.
