Our relationship with China over the past six months has been a very good one, thereby making this move on Trade an even more surprising one. I have always felt that they've been lying in wait, and now, as usual, I have been proven right! There is no way that China should be allowed to hold the World “captive,” but that seems to have been their plan for quite some time, starting with the “Magnets” and, other Elements that they have quietly amassed into somewhat of a Monopoly position, a rather sinister and hostile move, to say the least. But the U.S. has Monopoly positions also, much stronger and more far reaching than China's. I have just not chosen to use them, there was never a reason for me to do so — UNTIL NOW! The letter they sent is many pages long, and details, with great specificity, each and every Element that they want to withhold from other Nations. Things that were routine are no longer routine at all. I have not spoken to President Xi because there was no reason to do so. This was a real surprise, not only to me, but to all the Leaders of the Free World. I was to meet President Xi in two weeks, at APEC, in South Korea, but now there seems to be no reason to do so. The Chinese letters were especially inappropriate in that this was the Day that, after three thousand years of bedlam and fighting, there is PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST. I wonder if that timing was coincidental? Dependent on what China says about the hostile “order” that they have just put out, I will be forced, as President of the United States of America, to financially counter their move. For every Element that they have been able to monopolize, we have two. I never thought it would come to this but perhaps, as with all things, the time has come. Ultimately, though potentially painful, it will be a very good thing, in the end, for the U.S.A. One of the Policies that we are calculating at this moment is a massive increase of Tariffs on Chinese products coming into the United States of America. There are many other countermeasures that are, likewise, under serious consideration. Thank you for your attention to this matter!DONALD J. TRUMP,

Send us a textThe Swamp was loud, unforgiving, and revealing. Florida shifted late, hit first, and dared Texas to solve problems on the fly—up front on both sides, in the run game, with pre-snap discipline, and in special teams detail. We dig into the tape and the truth: 15 rushing yards, six sacks on Arch, three missed chances to pin inside the five, and still a late shot to tie. That contradiction is the heartbeat of this episode—flaws you can fix, and a team resilient enough to be within reach even on a bad night. We start with Arch Manning's growth under fire. The box score won't show it, but the grit did—standing in, scrambling smart, and competing while the pocket leaked. Yes, there were missed reads and footwork lapses, but development isn't linear, and this felt like a step toward the kind of quarterbacking Texas needs in Dallas. From there, we tackle the hard questions. Why did the defensive plan let DJ Lagway get comfortable? Where did the edges go? How did Florida's late shifts rattle an offensive line that came into 2024 young and hyped? And what does a real fix look like in six days? Our answer leans on identity and practicality. Play faster in spots. Move the launch point with boots and sprint-outs. Simplify the run menu to what the current backs and line can execute, aim for 125–150 yards to unlock the passing game, and trust field position when the game scripts low scoring. We also weigh the OU quarterback situation—expecting Matheir to suit up—and explain why the betting line likely reflects Hawkins uncertainty more than anything Texas did. The Cotton Bowl is its own world: half crimson, half burnt orange, better concourses and escalators, same pressure. If Texas wins first down, cleans up penalties, and reclaims special teams edges, the day tilts back.Come for the stories—from Gainesville's atmosphere to Red River memories—and stay for the plan: where Texas must tighten, how Arch can thrive, and why OU week is the right time to reset. If this breakdown helps, tap follow, share it with a Longhorn (or Sooner) in your life, and drop your bold Red River prediction in a review.Support the showPlease like and follow each of Stories Inside the Man Cave Podcast social media links on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Tik Tok.

I break down one of the wildest weekends of 2025: UCLA's 42–37 shocker over No. 7 Penn State at the Rose Bowl—where James Franklin admitted “we made mistakes today that we normally don't make…that's my responsibility, and I didn't get it done,” while interim boss Tim Skipper praised Nico Iamaleava as a “big-time” difference-maker; Florida's 29–21 upset of No. 9 Texas in the Swamp—DJ Lagway's “It's us against the world” swagger and Steve Sarkisian saying the loss is on him and that Texas must “get tighter than we've ever been”; and the NFL capper, Denver's 21–17 fourth-quarter comeback in Philly that snapped the Eagles' 10-game win streak amid controversy and a chaotic final Hail Mary. We unpack what each result means for the Playoff race, Sark's Red River week, and whether the Eagles' loss is a blip or blueprint for beating the champs. Hosted on Acast. We thought Week 6 would be quiet. We were wrong. Dead wrong. Three top 15 teams fell to unranked opponents in what might be the most chaotic Saturday of the season. We dive deep into Penn State's shocking 42-37 loss to UCLA—a team that fired its coach just days earlier. The loss raises serious questions about James Franklin's future despite his $50+ million buyout. Can this relationship be salvaged? We also break down Florida's inspired 29-21 upset of Texas in The Swamp, where the Gators' defense sacked Arch Manning six times and exposed flaws in the Longhorns' offensive line. Plus, Miami continues to look like a legitimate contender with a dominant road win over Florida State, powered by freshman sensation Malachi Toney and an elite defensive front. Beyond the headline upsets, we analyze Alabama's methodical win over Vanderbilt, Cincinnati's offensive explosion against Iowa State, Bryce Underwood's career day against Wisconsin, and what all this chaos means for the playoff picture. To close things out, Ty reveals his updated top 12 rankings, we answer live Verballer questions about Ohio State inevitability, the best G6 teams, and the champions of NIL, and finally, hand out Dude Alerts to standouts like Bear Bachmeier, Dallas Wilson, and Ty Simpson. Bobby Burton, Rod Babers, and Gerry Hamilton went all-in on today's massive showdown in Gainesville between Texas and Florida. The vibes? Confident but cautious—Texas has the edge, but the Swamp and the weather are big equalizers. Florida's Offense = Struggling Mightily QB DJ Lagway has 6 INTs already—5 on third-and-long, and most from clean pockets. Florida is 1-for-27 on third-and-7+ this season. Brutal. WR deep-ball production? Dead last in college football. Lagway is just 1-for-7 on 20+ yard throws. Texas Defensive Edge Rod and Gerry agreed: win early downs and force Florida into 3rd-and-long nightmares. Expect simulated pressures, disguised looks, and DBs feasting on predictable throws. Burke, Simmons, and Vasek off the edge vs. Florida's shaky tackles is a mismatch Texas must exploit. Special Teams X-Factor Rain and gusty winds up to 30 mph could flip this into a punter's duel. Texas WR/returner Ryan Niblett's decision-making will be crucial—field punts or let them go? A wet grass field means fewer bounces, so every choice matters. Texas kicker Mason Shipley remains perfect, while Florida's kicker has already missed three FGs this season. Score Predictions: Gerry: Texas 23–17 (tough 4Q battle, Shipley wins it late). Rod: Texas 24–10 (Longhorns' defense dominates, Florida offense never finds rhythm). Bobby: Texas 20–14 (ugly slugfest, but Texas survives). SEC Slate Talk: Vandy vs. Bama: Rod thinks Vandy keeps it close, Gerry and Bobby say Bama covers. Kentucky vs. Georgia: Straight-up talent mismatch—Dogs roll. Mississippi State vs. A&M: Panel split, but all agree it's a huge pivot game for the Aggies' playoff hopes. Miami vs. Florida State: Both Rod and Gerry love Miami's O-line/D-line combo to win in the trenches. The crew wrapped by reminding fans about the Texas tailgate in Gainesville (biggest on campus!) and all-day On Texas Football programming. Bottom line? Texas has the better team, but they need to handle the weather, the Swamp, and a desperate Gator squad. Hook ‘em!
