Dr. Fred Golooba-Mutebi — Ugandan political scientist, columnist, researcher and member of the Buganda Kingdom's Lukiiko — joins The Long Form for one of the most honest conversations on Uganda, Rwanda and East Africa's political future. We break down the 2026 Ugandan elections, Museveni's likely next term, the impact of Uganda's oil discovery, the role of traditional kingdoms, and why Uganda and Rwanda — so similar on the surface — have evolved into completely different political culturesConsider supporting this podcast via our Momo code 95462 or directly to our phone number: +250 795462739 Visit Sanny Ntayombya's Official Website: https://sannyntayombya.com
As quirky and charming as Dandadan is on the surface, full of bright color, relatable young protagonists navigating first love and their growing bodies, wacky alien creatures and exciting fight sequences, Dandadan has a brilliant knack for knocking its viewers off their feet with unjarring and upsetting backstories. Dandadan is not always an easy watch. While there is constant, excessive stripping down of the story's young protagonists, if you're able to stomach the initial uneasiness to grapple with the entire picture, you'll find that creator Tatsu shares our concerns and fears. Ghouls discuss whether this show can be labeled as fan service or social commentary, cover the horrors of puberty, the power of friendship, and the unlikely hero, Momo.

Welcome to Monsters on the Edge, a show exploring creatures at the edge of our reality in forests, cities, skies, and waters. We examine these creatures and talk to the researchers studying them.Mike Scott, is a 60 year old high school teacher/coach/ and athletic director in Southeast Missouri. His initial interest in Bigfoot began when he was 12 when he checked out a book from the library on the subject. But all that was put on the back burner for years until the interest was resurrected with the cable TV shows popping up about 15 or so years ago.He thought the shows were interesting, and did a little research on the subject at that time which led him to the BFRO website and database. With Missouri being listed a number of times, his interest peaked some more. But it wasn't until 2019 when he discovered a track way of footprints about 20 miles from his home in Cape Girardeau. At that point he was hooked and has conducted field work since, learning more and more each time he goes out.He and his wife of 36 years have raised an athletic family as they have two grown kids now, a daughter (33) and a son (31), both had successful athletic careers which kept him out of the woods, and now they have one grandson and a granddaughter that will be here in a few weeks.SEMO BIGFOOT & CRYPTID RESEARCH FACEBOOKhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/822816237928377Click that play button, and let's unravel the mysteries of the UNTOLD! Originally from Italy, he began his career in 1997 as a test driver and went on to spend 22 years with Pirelli before joining Momo. Today, he oversees Momo's growth across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, guiding distribution strategies, brand development, and the company's expansion following its recent shift to full brand ownership. His background in motorsports, product testing, and international marketing gives him a unique perspective on building a European-rooted brand in the American tire market.Clint Young is the President and COO of Point S Tire & Auto Service USA, leading one of the industry's fastest-growing dealer networks.

This week on Wrestling Omakase we've got another packed trip around most of the Japanese wrestling world! John is joined by returning guest Snazzy from Joshi ing Around & Social Suplex as they start things out with Marigold's enormous Shine Forever show from Ryogoku, which they both agree was the fledgling promotion's very best show of all time so far! They discuss a stacked top of the lineup featuring the first Io Shirai vs. Mayu Iwatani match in well over seven years, a very divisive red belt match with a shocking finish, a white belt match they both have lots of praise for and a whole lot more. Plus some thoughts on the attendance and a lot of hot takes about recent joshi discourse and a lot more! Then they head over to STARDOM to talk about two more shows from the World Wonder Ring- Starlight Kid's 10th anniversary show from Shinjuku FACE on 10/20 and the 10/27 Korakuen. They discuss the insubstantial but amusing SLK anniversary show and then a Korakuen show that was pretty average all things considered. They also discuss where things could be headed with Saya & Momo and again make fun of some very, very dumb takes. The joshi portion of the podcast wraps up with Tokyo Joshi's own 10/18 Korakuen as they talk a great Princess of Princess title match, QUIZ SHOWS, new foreigners and more! The men's wrestling portion kicks off with DDT's 10/19 Korakuen show featuring both the regular and six-man tag titles on the line, as they also give a brief preview of next Monday's Ultimate Party show (also from Ryogoku). Finally, they end the show with AJPW's 10/22 Korakuen, as John again is less than enthused with the current state of Zen Nihon.Joshi ing around podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/5vEhF921sFtprCxTsWhqt6?si=d1da6785766042cdFollow Wrestling Omakase on Twitter: http://twitter.com/wrestleomakaseFollow John on BlueSky: https://bsky.app/profile/justoneenby.bsky.socialAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Hello and welcome to How Did I Get Here? From The Vault! Today we go back to episode 900 with highlights from our live shows from 2011 to 2019 originally released on March 30, 2020. Below are my original notes form the show. Since episode 400, we've done a live show for each hundred episodes. Obviously, this was not an option for episode 900, so I put together some snippets from other live shows. What Made Milwaukee Famous' Michael Kincaid explains himself from ep. 15 Live at Momo's, AJ Vallejo talks us through the Vallejo label shuffle from ep 182 Live at Strange Brew, Suzanna Choffel & Nakia talk about being on The Voice from ep. 400 Live from The Townsend, Kathy Valentine talks about the magic of being in a band and winning over an audience from ep. 415 Live at The Townsend, Suzanna Choffel talks about Jem and the Holograms with Nakia and AJ Vallejo from ep. 500 Live at The Townsend, AJ Vallejo and Nakia talk metal and Alabama from ep. 600 Live at The Townsend, Acey Monaro (Go Fever) tells a crazy story about El Paso while Ray Prim, Laurie Gallardo and Nöelle Hampton react to her bad decisions from ep. 800 Live at Cosmic Coffee + Beer.
