Tantra is a journey of expansion. The universe expanding through you.Your cells want to dance with your every breath. And yet there are many very valid reasons why that dance isn't always happening.Stored trauma, tension, limiting beliefs & emotional content can keep our cells in lockdown, armored up, protective. Through intelligent use of breathwork we can gently & gracefully expand into being more fully alive and freely expressed.Breathwork is powerful medicine and it needs to be done in ways that honor the nervous system.I teach a form of Conscious Connected Breath (CCB) infused with feminine principle. One that invites the breather on a journey home to herself.Let's dive in.Access my robust free sensual breathwork resources in The Goddess Vault.Learn more about James Nestor's work on breath

In this episode, Jess and Karli dive deep into the topic of therapy. They reflect on their own experiences, sharing how traditional talk therapy served them for a time, but eventually led them to explore other modalities like EMDR and NET. They break down what those therapies are, what the process actually looks like, and how they've helped reprocess negative memories and shift long-held emotional patterns. Therapy is such a personal journey, but we hope this episode offers a helpful glimpse into what to expect if you're considering different approaches as well as a reminder that healing looks different for everyone. Please note: We are not licensed therapists. This conversation is based on our personal experiences and is intended for informational and storytelling purposes only. It should not be taken as medical or mental health advice. If you're struggling or feel you need support, we strongly encourage you to seek help from a qualified mental health professional.

When it comes to our hope as Christians, it's based on the solid promises given to us in God's Word –or as Paul puts it, “that you have already heard about in the word of truth.” It's not simply the vague wish for better days ahead. It's the unshakeable assurance that you and I have a God who loves us, who has redeemed us from our sins, who is with us right now, and who has prepared a place for us with Him in heaven.

Hosts: Adam Gardiner and Guest Host Emily Lockhart Sloppy handling of sensitive documents has become all-too-commonplace among the last two administrations. The latest instance involves a Google Drive folder -- which contained documents like White House floor plans -- being inadvertently shared among employees who weren't supposed to have access. In this day and age, how have we gotten to this point where there's such disregard for protecting sensitive and classified government information?

Can your body be stuck in trauma or grief? In this mini episode, Dr. Aimie is answering a listener's question about why her physical symptoms are still bothering her a year after a loved one's death. She dives into why the normal approach to self care won't work and how creating safety can allow the trauma and grief to move through the body instead of staying stuck. Dr. Aimie goes into the biology behind why movement is needed for overwhelming grief and trauma, building on her conversation with Paul Denniston from episode 117. She shares more on why “emotions need motion” and how movement practices work on a physiological level to release the trauma and grief trapped in the body. You'll hear more about: How grief pushes the body from a stress response into a trauma response The three coping strategies triggered by grief Where grief and trauma get stored physically within the body The action steps you can start taking today to move through your own trauma or grief And more! If you feel like you're ready to let go of the trauma and grief that your body has been holding onto, then this episode is a must listen to! For more on this topic, listen to the full conversation with Paul Denniston in Episode 117: Movement For Healing Stored Grief & Emotions Check out The Essential Sequence which is a free guide that shows you the difference between stress and trauma states of our nervous system. In just 3 steps, it walks you through what your body needs when it has stored trauma or is in a freeze response.
“Emotions need motion” - Paul Denniston Grief is an emotion that many of us try to avoid. But what happens when we don't let it out? In this episode, we explore how hidden grief can get stuck in the body, causing tight shoulders, stomach pain, and nonstop anxiety. Paul Denniston, founder of Grief Yoga, joins Dr. Aimie to explain that grief doesn't simply disappear when ignored. Instead, it hides in our muscles and body, making them hurt or feel uncomfortable. This conversation sheds light on how movement and even laughter can let the feelings out of our bodies in a safe way. We'll talk more about: How grief physically manifests in the body Why movement is essential for trauma healing How to recognize if what you're feeling is grief (even if it looks like anxiety or anger) The power in creating dedicated time and space for grief expression Learning how to sit with grief safely so it doesn't feel too overwhelming How laughter can be used to access deeper grief How practitioners can hold space for others' grief without becoming overwhelmed themselves The physical and emotional benefits of moving grief through the body And more! Whether you're a practitioner working with grief, someone supporting a loved one through loss, or navigating your own healing journey, this episode shares insights into transforming pain through movement practices that incorporate breath, sound, and embodied awareness. Paul Denniston is the founder of Grief Yoga®, which uses yoga, movement, breath, and sound to release pain and suffering and connect to love. His intention with Grief Yoga is to combine many different forms of yoga in order to help heal grief. Welcome to the Triple P Life Podcast! In this episode, Dr. Jay LaGuardia welcomes Dr. Bradley Nelson, the author of the bestselling books "The Emotion Code" and "The Body Code," to discuss the often-overlooked emotional component of overall well-being. Dr. Nelson explains how unresolved emotions can become trapped in the body, leading to physical ailments, emotional distress, and hindering the healing process. They explore the concept of trapped emotions, the "emotional loop," and how the Emotion Code can help individuals identify and release this emotional baggage to improve their physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Episode Takeaways: Emotional well-being is a crucial element of overall health, alongside physical and spiritual aspects. You cannot be truly well if you neglect your emotional state. Unresolved emotions can become "trapped" in the body as energy, potentially manifesting as physical pain, disease, or emotional issues like anxiety and depression. The "emotional loop" describes the normal processing of emotions, but sometimes this loop gets stuck open, leading to trapped emotions. The Emotion Code is a method developed by Dr. Nelson to identify and release these trapped emotional energies using muscle testing and intention. Releasing trapped emotions can lead to significant improvements in physical symptoms, emotional well-being, and even the ability to forgive and move on from past hurts. Dr. Nelson has found that a vast majority of physical pain and disease processes have an emotional component. The Body Code is a more comprehensive system that addresses six categories of imbalances affecting health: energies (including trapped emotions), pathogens, circuits and systems, misalignments, toxins, and nutrition and lifestyle. The subconscious mind acts like a powerful computer that can be accessed through muscle testing to identify underlying imbalances. Dr. Nelson is releasing a new book called "The Heart Code" focusing specifically on "heart walls," which are emotional energies trapped around the heart that can hinder connection and well-being. 00:00 - Introduction to Emotional Well-being 02:14 - Introducing Dr. Bradley Nelson 04:38 - The Computer, Prayer, and Chiropractic 07:12 - The Emotional Loop Explained 09:51 - Releasing Trapped Emotions with Magnets 12:15 - *Emotion Code*: A Deeper Dive 14:40 - Consciousness, Awareness, and Trauma 17:22 - Deleting Emotional Energy 19:45 - Emotional Baggage in Animals 21:58 - Emotional vs. Physical Issues 24:10 - Training Practitioners in the *Emotion Code* 26:35 - Limitations of Western Medicine 29:01 - The Body Code System 31:18 - Symptoms and Imbalances 33:33 - Common Conditions and Open Loops 35:50 - Vibrational Tone Scale and Emotions 38:14 - The Hot Air Balloon Analogy 40:37 - *Emotion Code* vs. *Body Code* 42:50 - The Heart Wall and the Heart Code 45:18 - The Six Imbalance Categories 47:30 - Wrap Up and Contact Information Find all things Triple P Life by visiting the website.
