Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
The detective was fired. The prosecutor is retiring. The county clerk resigned months ago citing persecution. And at the center of it all is a nineteen-page judicial order that documents — in constitutional detail — how the most critical evidence in the Aaron Spencer murder case was mishandled, lost, and never accounted for.Judge Ralph Wilson Jr. found that Detective Robbie McCain violated the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office's own evidence policies in ways the court called "intentional." McCain removed a dashcam from Michael Fosler's truck without photographing or documenting it. Pulled the SD card and viewed it on his personal computer — a direct violation of department protocol that requires electronic evidence go untouched to the AG's forensics unit. Stored the camera in an untaped envelope in his personal office cabinet rather than the evidence room. Didn't log any of it. The camera wasn't entered into evidence for over a year. The SD card vanished and was never recovered. The judge heard testimony from McCain's own commanding officer confirming that every one of these actions violated policy. He heard from an expert witness who said McCain was specifically trained not to remove SD cards because of the risk of wiping data. He found a "reasonable possibility" that the detective didn't see what he claimed was on the card — because no copy or documentation was ever created. And he concluded that the cumulative pattern of violations gave "the appearance of a coverup."Two days after that order was signed, the sheriff's office fired McCain for "policy violations." The prosecutor who fought to keep the murder charge alive through his final filing is retiring this year without public explanation. The county clerk left before the primary, citing a hostile environment in her office. When the people inside a system start heading for the exits at the same time — and a judge has documented why — the departures aren't the story. What they're leaving behind is.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Can emotions get trapped in the body? Rita De Michele speaks with Mark Moon about body armouring, breath work, and why stored emotional patterns can show up as physical tension, stress, tightness, and emotional overwhelm. This conversation explores why insight alone may not always change the cycle, and how breath work may help create more safety, capacity, and emotional freedom in the body.

Send me a some feedback! In this episode, Mike revisits the creation process and introduces a powerful refinement that brings it into clearer focus. Moving beyond surface-level thinking, he breaks down how creating your life isn't just about mindset or vision—it's about the alignment between your soul, your mind, and your body. Using the framework of a triangle, he explains how each part plays a role in shaping what you experience in the external world. At the core of this conversation is a deeper truth: your external life is a reflection of what's happening internally. When your soul is clear on what it wants, your mind agrees with that vision, and your body feels safe receiving it, creation becomes natural. But when there's misalignment—uncertainty in the mind or resistance in the body—what you want stays out of reach. This episode brings clarity to that process and shows where the real work actually lives.Key TakeawaysCreation requires alignment between soul, mind, and body. It's not just about knowing what you want—it's about aligning every part of you with it. Clarity comes from the soul's desire to experience something specific. If you don't know what you want, you can't create it. Certainty is agreement between your mind and your vision. When your thoughts conflict with your desires, creation stalls. The body must feel safe to receive what you want. Stored fear, anxiety, and past experiences can block what you're trying to create. Most people focus externally, but the real work is internal. Your life changes when your internal world aligns with what you want to experience. Notable Quotes “We are not humans having a spiritual experience… we are spirit having a human experience.” “If you don't know what you want, you can't have it.” “Mindset is agreement between the mind and the heart.” “The nervous system has one goal… to keep you alive by keeping you in familiar circumstances.” “When the mind agrees and the body is ready to receive, you will start to see evidence of it showing up in your life.” Call to ActionIf this episode resonated, it's an invitation to look inward and get honest about where alignment may be missing. Not just what you want… but whether your mind agrees with it and your body is ready to receive it.If you're ready to go deeper into this work and bring your internal world into alignment with the life you want to experience, reach out directly to Mike at mike@innerwealthglobal.com.And if you're getting value from the Inner Wealth Podcast, make sure you're subscribed, and take a moment to rate and review so we can continue reaching more people who are ready to expand their life and circumstances in alignment.Mike's Media:Website: https://www.innerwealthglobal.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mikekitkoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mike_kitkoTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mikekitkoSubscribe to my YouTube: / @mikekitkoMusic Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & Friends
Send us Fan MailWe talk with UL FSRI's Dr. Dan Madrzykowski about how fire dynamics drives outcomes at outside fires, vehicle fires, and “container” incidents just as much as it does in homes. This episode connects real case studies to practical command decisions so crews stop feeding the fire with ventilation and start controlling conditions with effective water application and better size-up.In this episode:• AFG grant window timing and why command training remains a high priority• Fire dynamics basics that still get missed in structures• Why ventilation can increase smoke production and fire growth• Exterior fire spread that re-enters and traps interior crews• Lagrange incident lessons and the need to flow and move• Critical factors for IC1 and IC2 — because the fire gets a vote• EV fire response priorities: life hazard, approach angle, water supply, and exposures• When letting EV batteries burn out may reduce overall risk• Trailer and container fires as ventilation-limited pressure vessel problems• The “two-question pause” before giving orders and avoiding autopilot decision-making• Stored energy hazards including large tire explosion blast radius and positioning• CNG vehicle differences and why preplans matter• Using monitors and stream reach to gain standoff and improve visibility• Warehouse fire ventilation errors when water is not yet effectiveResources Mentioned:Chula Vista Fire Report: Analysis of a Near Miss in a Warehouse Fire – Californiahttps://doi.org/10.60752/102376.30402382Lagrange Fire Report: Four Firefighters Burned in Residential House Fire – Georgiahttps://dx.doi.org/10.54206/102376/GEKK4148Lagrange Incident Videohttps://training.fsri.org/resources/409/residential-fire-near-miss-in-lagrange-ga-incident-videoLaGrange Discussion Toolhttps://training.fsri.org/resources/53/026-near-miss-lagrange-continuing-the-conversationOnline Coursehttps://training.fsri.org/course/105/residential-fire-near-miss-incident-in-lagrange-gaBlue Card Lithium Ion Battery Fire SOG: https://bshifter.com/download/lithium-ion-battery-incident-sample-sog/Order the 3rd Edition of Fire Command here:https://bshifter.myshopify.com/products/new-fire-command-3rd-editionFor Waldorf University Blue Card credit and discounts:https://www.waldorf.edu/blue-card/For free command and leadership support, visit:https://bshifter.comSign up for the B Shifter Buckslip, our free weekly newsletter:https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/fmgs92N/BuckslipShop B Shifter:https://bshifter.myshopify.comAbout Dan:Dr. Daniel Madrzykowski is a Senior Research Engineer with the UL Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI) and one of the leading fire dynamics researchers in the world. Welcome back to another episode of the Spiritual Sleepover with our bestie, Steffi Hill, aka Spirit Sis! Today we are diving deep into healing journeys, somatic release, pregnancy, spirituality, and the powerful ways our bodies store emotion and trauma. Dana shares updates from the final days of pregnancy and reflects on preparing for birth through movement, chiropractic care, and surrender, while Shayna and Steffi open up about their own transformative experiences with breathwork, Reiki, past life memories, and emotional healing. We go from lighthearted stories and spiritual "smash or pass" debates to meaningful reflections on collective healing, women's empowerment, and the importance of creating bridges between spiritual awareness and the wider world. Equal parts vulnerable, mystical, and wildly funny, this episode is a reminder that healing can happen through both deep inner work and everyday rituals. Key Takeaways: How the body stores emotion, trauma, and stress in physical ways that can be released through somatic practices like breathwork, Reiki, movement, and bodywork. Why pregnancy and motherhood are deeply spiritual experiences that require both strength and surrender. How breathwork and somatic healing can unlock buried memories, emotional breakthroughs, and profound nervous system healing. How small daily rituals — like movement, cacao, candle magic, journaling, hot water, or nature walks — can become powerful spiritual practices. Why learning to receive support, care, healing, and nourishment is a major part of the spiritual journey. Hey Heal Squad! After such a beautiful weekend at the Heal Squad Day of Reset, we had to bring back this incredibly powerful conversation. Tammy Valicenti joined us in person at Day of Reset, and if you were moved by her there… just wait! In this throwback episode, Maria sits down with Tammy to unpack EMDR therapy, the trauma-healing modality that has helped so many people process PTSD, anxiety, panic, and deeply stored emotional pain in a totally different way than traditional talk therapy. Tammy breaks down what EMDR actually is (because yes, it can sound a little intimidating at first), how it helps the brain reprocess trauma, and why so many people see life-changing shifts in just a handful of sessions. They also get into how trauma doesn't just live in our memories, it lives in the body… showing up in relationships, anxiety, hypervigilance, fear, and patterns we may not even realize are connected. Such an eye-opening conversation, especially if you've heard people talk about EMDR but never fully understood what it is or if it could help you! This episode is brought to you by Ancient & Brave, Strong Coffee Company and Audible. What if your anxiety, exhaustion, gut issues, insomnia, chronic tension, or even emotional numbness weren't random… but your body trying to communicate unresolved stress and trauma? Somatic healing expert and When the Body Speaks author Liz Tenuto—better known online as "The Workout Witch"—joiins us to unpack how trauma gets stored in the nervous system and why so many people stay stuck even after years of therapy, self-help, and "doing all the right things." Liz explains the science behind somatic healing, bottom-up nervous system regulation, neurogenic tremors, emotional release, chronic stress physiology, and how seemingly "normal" symptoms like jaw clenching, gut issues, fatigue, insomnia, and brain fog may actually be signs your body never fully completed the stress response. This conversation blends neuroscience, emotional healing, nervous system education, and practical tools into one of the deepest conversations yet on what it truly means to move Ever Forward. YOU WILL LEARN: Why trauma is physical, not just emotional The difference between top-down vs bottom-up healing How chronic stress silently changes the body Why high performers often normalize dysregulation The role of safety and co-regulation in healing The surprising power of tiny movements and somatic exercises How unresolved trauma can mask deeper layers of pain Why healing can lead to a more authentic and connected life Follow Liz @theworkoutwitch_ Follow Chase @chase_chewning ----- 00:00 – Trauma gets stored in the body 00:44 – What "bottom-up healing" means 01:00 – Why physical release creates emotional healing 01:33 – Neurogenic tremors explained 01:51 – Your body is your most honest messenger 03:09 – Giving yourself permission to not feel okay 06:11 – Is healing a luxury in modern life? 07:35 – When your body is quietly screaming at you 09:07 – Healthy coping vs hidden avoidance 11:42 – Why we always go to extremes with stress 14:21 – Can 5–10 minutes a day really heal stress? 16:12 – Signs trauma may be stored in your nervous system 19:58 – A simple vagus nerve exercise for relaxation 22:25 – Rocking movements & soothing the nervous system 25:14 – Gabor Maté's definition of trauma 26:56 – What is secondary trauma? 30:05 – Chase shares his PTSD healing journey 31:59 – Somatics vs talk therapy explained 35:11 – Why the jaw & psoas hold stress 36:09 – Why animals shake after stress (and humans don't) 38:54 – Why physical release creates emotional release 40:46 – The importance of safe people & co-regulation 43:08 – Signs your nervous system may be dysregulated 45:20 – Liz shares her trauma story 47:14 – Discovering somatic healing for the first time 49:39 – What somatic exercises actually look like 51:16 – Why gentle movement heals the nervous system 53:09 – Can you do somatic healing on your own? 54:20 – Reclaiming ownership of your body 55:50 – Healing trauma through unlearning survival patterns 57:43 – Somatics vs therapy: where should people start? 58:45 – Healing trauma you can't consciously remember 01:02:16 – Why avoiding trauma never truly works 01:03:09 – Trauma lives in your cells & tissues 01:05:57 – Healing creates ripple effects for others 01:09:57 – Liz on joy, hobbies & learning to play again 01:12:45 – What "Ever Forward" means to Liz 01:14:24 – "When the body speaks… are we listening?" ----- Episode resources: Save 20% on Tru Biome with code EVERFOFRWARD from Ancient and Brave Save 15% on organic coffee with code CHASE from Strong Coffee Company FREE 30-day trial of Audible audiobooks Watch and subscribe on YouTube Get Liz's new book When the Body Speaks

A Rosie On The House ReplayThis episode explores practical, low-cost strategies for reusing household gray water to irrigate landscapes. Brad Lancaster shares decades of experience designing regenerative water systems in dryland environments, emphasizing simple gravity-fed solutions over complex infrastructure. The conversation highlights how homeowners can dramatically reduce water use by “stacking functions” and capturing water already on-site. By pairing gray water with rainwater harvesting, households can meet most or all of their irrigation needs. Brad Lancaster runs a successful permaculture consulting design and education business in Tucson, Arizona. He's focused on integrated and sustainable approaches to landscape design, planning and living. Growing up in a dryland environment, water harvesting has long been one of his specialties and a true passion. He's the author of the Permaculture Bible for Water Harvesting, Rainwater Harvesting for Drylands and Beyond, Volumes One and Two. And he has just released new color versions, revised and expanded of both of them.Key TopicsGray water (definition and household sources)Difference between gray water and black waterBrad Lancaster (water harvesting expert)Rainwater harvesting systemsGravity-fed irrigation designSoil as a living filtration systemMulch basins and infiltration strategiesLaundry-to-landscape systemsOutdoor shower gray water reuseWater conservation in dryland climatesArizona gray water regulations (13 guidelines)Soap and detergent impacts (salt vs liquid)Planting water before plants (design philosophy)Evapotranspiration and passive coolingKey Questions AnsweredWhat is gray water and how much of household water does it represent?Gray water is lightly used water from showers, sinks, bathtubs, and washing machines. It represents a significant portion of household water use—nearly equal to outdoor irrigation demand—making it a major opportunity for reuse. Is gray water safe to use in the landscape?Yes, when basic guidelines are followed. Avoid toxins, prevent pooling, and distribute water across multiple areas. Soil biology naturally filters the water, making it safe for fruit trees and many landscape plants. How can homeowners start using gray water cheaply and easily?Simple systems like redirecting a washing machine hose or using an outdoor shower can send water directly to plants using gravity. No pumps, tanks, or complex filtration systems are needed. What soaps and products should be used with gray water systems?Liquid soaps are preferred over powdered detergents because they contain fewer salt-based fillers. Avoid chlorine bleach and opt for hydrogen peroxide alternatives to protect soil health. Why shouldn't gray water be stored in tanks?Stored gray water quickly turns septic due to organic matter, creating odor and health issues. It's best used immediately by directing it into soil systems. How does combining gray water and rainwater maximize impact?Together, they can meet nearly all irrigation needs for a landscape, especially with low-water-use plants. This reduces reliance on municipal water and increases resilience. What does “plant the water first” mean?Design the landscape to capture and infiltrate water using basins and contours before planting. This ensures plants receive consistent moisture naturally.Where should plants be placed in a water-harvesting landscape?Higher water-use plants should be placed near water sources like roofs or gray water outlets. Trees should be positioned for shade and cooling benefits, especially on east and west sides of buildings.Episode HighlightsGray water is “perennial water”—it flows daily as long as you live in your homeYou've already paid for this water—reuse it instead of sending it to the sewerA simple laundry system can irrigate multiple trees by rotating a drain hoseSoil acts as a living sponge and filter, outperforming mechanical systemsOutdoor showers can double as irrigation systems and cooling zones for animalsAvoid overcomplication—gravity systems are cheaper, more reliable, and effectiveCapturing both rainwater and gray water can eliminate most irrigation needsWater harvesting landscapes create cooler microclimates and support biodiversityCalls to Action & ResourcesBrad Lancaster Resources — https://www.harvestingrainwater.comYouTube Channel — Search “Brad Lancaster water harvesting”Books — Rainwater Harvesting for Drylands and Beyond (Volumes 1 & 2)Visit www.UrbanFarm.org/980 for the show notes and links on this episode!Need a little bit of advice or just a feedback on your design for your yard or garden? The Urban Farm Team is offering consults over the phone or zoom. In this episode of The Health Fix Podcast, I'm chatting with my friend Dr. Brianne Grogan a doctor of pelvic floor physical therapy and a wizard when it comes to bodywork. Dr. Bri is well known for her Youtube channel Vibrant Pelvic Health and is now offering a deeper experience to work with her 1:1 at her "Healing House" in Central Oregon. Dr. Bri and I met when I reached out to her about my love for her hip circles video some years ago and we've been friends ever since. Since she knew I was dealing with some low back and hip pain she invited me to try out her experience. She fed me well, challenged me to move in new ways, chilled me out with her sound lounge, helped me clear some really old emotional pain and in those three glorious days I left as a completely different person. In this episode we're going deep into my experience, laugh a lot and talk all about how Dr. Bri has created the most wholistic program for women with pelvic floor conditions I've ever seen. If you or someone you know is struggling with pelvic floor pain, prolapse, chronic digestive issues, low back pain, sciatica, un-satisfying sex or you're looking for an exclusive private healing experience this podcast is for you. What You'll Learn In This Episode: Why 1:1 personal retreats are amazing for transformational healing What can happen when you allow your body to release tension on it's time schedule vs in the constraints of a 60 minute visit The power of having someone trained to support you through a very deep and personal emotional release What to expect when you work with Dr. Bri in person Resources From The Show: Head to Toe Pelvic Care with Dr. Brianne Grogan's: The Experience - tell her Dr. Jannine Krause sent you! ➡️ Get the full show notes and episode breakdown at Biology of Trauma® Podcast - Why Menopause Is When Your Stored Trauma Finally Surfaces What if the anxiety, the depression, the rage, and the emotional floods did not begin with perimenopause and have been there all along? And menopause is simply when the body can no longer hold them? What if your childhood ACE score is one of the strongest predictors of how severe your menopause experience will be? In this episode, Dr. Aimie talks with Dr. Betty Murray, hormone metabolism expert and functional medicine PhD, to connect two things medicine has kept separate for too long: stored trauma and hormonal health. Estrogen has receptors on every cell in the body except two. When it declines, every cell registers it — and for women carrying decades of chronic stress and stored trauma, that decline removes part of the biological buffer that was holding everything together. Dr. Aimie brings the trauma biology (as referenced in the ACE research, the PTSD and estrogen study) and the Biology of Trauma® framework that explains why menopause is the moment when what the body has been holding finally surfaces. Dr. Murray's hormone science confirms what that framework predicts: how a trauma-informed approach can actually help, why bioidentical hormones and the right labs matter, what the 10-million-woman study actually found, and how the Women's Health Initiative misrepresentation changed women's care for decades. This episode is for every woman who has been handed a prescription instead of a conversation about her hormones. In This Episode You'll Learn: [00:00] Why are hormones, buried emotions, and stored trauma connected — and why is menopause when it all surfaces? [04:45] What is the new lens for reading hormone labs — and why does dosing one-size-fits-all fail 75% of women? [08:00] What is actually happening biologically when a woman in perimenopause feels rage, anxiety, brain fog, and emotional sensitivity? [8:49] How do estrogen's receptors on every cell in the body explain the scope of menopause symptoms? [10:51] What did a 6,000-woman PTSD study reveal about the relationship between estrogen levels and trauma symptom severity? [14:14] What labs should be tested, when should they be tested, and why does the phase of perimenopause change what you are looking for? [21:21] Is the depression diagnosed during menopause actually depression — or a hormone picture being handed an antidepressant? [22:36] How do adverse childhood experiences raise the risk for first-episode major depression during menopause? [27:35] What is the difference between bioidentical and synthetic hormones — and why does delivery mechanism matter? [31:44] What does the 10-million-women retrospective study actually show about hormone replacement and all-cause mortality? [36:41] What did the Women's Health Initiative actually find — and how was a non-statistically significant finding turned into a 25% headline? [38:42] What does Dr. Betty Murray want every woman to know before she leaves this conversation? Resources/Guides: Dr. Betty Murray — Hormone metabolism expert and functional medicine clinician with over 20 years of experience in women's hormonal health, host of the Menopause Mastery podcast, and founder of The Menrva Project — an AI-powered telemedicine platform personalising menopause care across all 50 states. What if your anxiety isn’t just in your mind, but in your body? Why do certain pains never fully go away? Can tiny movements actually release stored trauma? What if your body isn’t broken but just protective? In this episode of A Really Good Cry, Radhi sits down with somatic healing expert Liz Tenuto to explore how emotional stress and trauma live in the body, and how to safely release it. Liz explains that “soma” means body, and somatic healing focuses on small, intentional micro-movements that help regulate the nervous system. Unlike traditional workouts or even yoga, somatics is about restoring agency, reconnecting the mind and body so you feel safe inside yourself again. They discuss how unprocessed stress can show up as jaw tension, tight hips, gut issues, panic attacks, and chronic pain. Liz breaks down nervous system responses like fight, flight, freeze, and dissociation, and explains why shaking, or neurogenic tremors, can actually be the body completing a stress cycle. In this episode, you’ll learn: How trauma gets stored physically in the body. Why jaw, neck, and hips hold stress. What the freeze response actually feels like. How to calm panic through simple body-based tools. The difference between nervous system safety and intensity. Why healing is about regulation, not perfection. This episode is a reminder that your body is always trying to protect you - and with the right tools, you can teach it that it’s safe again. No one on board (and few on land) liked Ronald “Lep O” Dunne. Drake needs our help to determine if Lep O died accidentally or, if on purpose, who helped him along. Here are the men on the Debra Anne in the order we met them:Capt. Sigurd, crab boat owner and operatorGull, first mate and friend for over 20 yearsHammer, engineer, Native American, and former copHere's what Drake knows:• On the voyage back after a successful crab harvest, Lep O was found in one of the king crab holds. The crabs devoured him. His skull had a large fracture.• The official investigation ruled the death accidental. Under federal jurisdiction, the victim's family can sue, which Sarah, Capt. Sigurd's daughter, did.• Capt. Sigurd's granddaughter, Sarah's daughter, Debbie, married Lep O while away at college. Lep O assaulted Debbie, but she refused to press charges.• Capt Sigurd hired the man on to separate him from his granddaughter. #202 - Your Body Remembers: How Stored Emotions Shape Your Health, Success, and Relationshipswith Riana Malia Ever wonder why, no matter how much work you've done toward healing and life goals, you still hit the same walls—repeated patterns, anxiety, or that “stuck” feeling you can't quite name? What if you don't need to work on yourself anymore—what if it's more about clearing old, inaccurate messages ? In this episode, I sit down with Riana Malia, creator of Quantum Time Release (QTR) and Quantum Goal Setting, to explore how stored emotions, subconscious patterns, and energetic imprints shape your physical health, your relationships, and even your sense of success. If you've ever rolled your eyes at words like “quantum” or “energy work,” stay with me—because this one's rooted in neuroscience, not hocus pocus or woo. Riana breaks down how unresolved emotions literally alter your nervous system, and how releasing them can create measurable shifts in your body and your life.

Tenderoni Hotline #21: Hello my love, and welcome back to the Tenderoni Hotline, our soft and spacious corner of the Feminist Wellness Podcast, where we explore your most tender questions about healing, nervous system care, and returning home to yourself. In today's episode, we're unpacking a question that comes up all the time in somatic spaces, yoga classes, and Instagram infographics: Are emotions really stored in the hips? Together, we'll get curious about where this idea comes from, how it gets flattened into oversimplified slogans, and what's actually happening in your body when those hips feel tight, tender, or tear-filled. We'll talk about the difference between emotional release and emotional resolution, what the nervous system has to do with chronic muscle bracing, and why fascia, stress, and safety are central to understanding what your body is trying to tell you. And because you know I love the science and the woo, we'll explore the origins of this concept across different systems, from somatic psychology to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Indigenous frameworks, with care, nuance, and zero appropriation. You'll walk away with a clearer understanding of why this myth persists, how your body actually processes emotional pain, and why healing isn't about “extracting” emotion but expanding your capacity to feel, soften, and stay present with yourself. So go ahead and get cozy. I'm so glad you're here. Got a question for the Tenderoni Hotline? The mind becomes a problem when it is filled with stored emotional impressions (samskaras) that we resisted or clung to, shaping our preferences, beliefs, and ego. These inner patterns distort reality, create suffering, and cause us to constantly judge life based on past experiences. True liberation comes not from controlling the mind but from understanding these roots. We can then learn to let go of the stored disturbances and allow life to unfold freely without resistance. © Sounds True Inc. Episodes: © 2026 Michael A. Singer. All Rights Reserved.
It’s common for those who are traveling overseas for the first time to pack a lot of stuff. The fear is being so far from home and needing something. But a recent article speaks of the problems of over-packing. It advises leaving behind shampoo and hair dryers (which most hotels have) and not bringing extra shoes and books, which are bulky and heavy. The writer notes that when you wind up lugging heavy luggage over Europe’s cobblestone streets, you’ll wish you didn’t bring so much with you. In a way, it’s an apt metaphor for the travel advice the apostle Paul provides.: “For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it” (1 Timothy 6:7). He ties this to the problem of possessing too much: “Those who want to get rich fall into temptation,” and he warns that extra baggage is “a trap” leading to “ruin and destruction” (v. 9). People of faith have a different travel destination where all that’s needed is provided by God—“everything for our enjoyment” (v. 17). It might be good for us today to remember that what we accumulate in life is meaningless. We can’t take it with us. By being “generous and willing to share” (v. 18), Paul says, we “lay up treasure . . . for the coming age.” This is the best travel tip of all, the secret to “life that is truly life” (v. 19).
In this month's episode, the crew sheds new light on tick-borne disease transmission, we discuss how microwaving pests may be the cool new pest control hack (or maybe not), and we cover new data on what skin emissions make us more or less attractive to malaria-transmitting mosquitoes. What if everything you've been taught about money is backwards? What if instead of you chasing money, figuring out money, strategizing about money, trying to crack the code of money from the outside. You simply asked money itself? What if money could speak? What if it had preferences? What if it knew exactly why it flows toward some people and away from others, and was willing to share that information directly with anyone who actually listened? This might sound strange at first. Money as conscious. Money as aware. Money as something that can communicate. Because every ancient culture understood that everything carries consciousness. Everything. The rivers, the stones, the wind, the fire—and yes, the mediums of exchange that humans created to represent value and energy. Money isn't just paper and metal and numbers on a screen. Money is crystallized human attention. Concentrated life force. Stored intention that billions of people have poured their energy into for thousands of years. Anything that receives that much human consciousness... becomes conscious itself. And today, we're going to open a channel. We're going to let money speak. We're going to receive a download directly from the source.
When I sat down first thing in the morning (my time) to chat across the pond with Adam Wight in the middle of his day, our tone of voices were just a bit more free than they might be now. It's interesting to think how quickly our days are changing! But we will all make it through, as we continue to actively choose love over fear. In today's episode, Adam and I delve into a lifetime of repressed emotions over his life with his mother, and the obvious and natural connection that has to his anxiety, digestive issues, and other TMS symptoms. Join us for an impactful and eye opening real time heal. Stay safe and connected out there, wherever this day finds you. Sending big love.. n. This episode originally aired on March 27, 2020. Curious about how Luis teaches? Here is your window into a nutritional teaching about stored trauma, visceral fat, and inflammation. Stored trauma in the body sets off a chain reaction resulting in elevated insulin, putting the body into fat storage mode. Visceral fat becomes an endocrine organ producing protein molecules called cytokines that create an inflammatory response. This process primes the body for carb consumption. Often food is either avoided, or binging is chosen, stressing the body out further. Stored trauma also creates excess adrenaline that gets filtered through the liver. The metabolites go into the bile resulting in acidic bile that inflames the gut lining. In times of stress many of us turn towards processed foods, and those also contribute to an inflamed gut lining. Chronic inflammation in the gut usually leads to auto immune diseases, chronic illness and weight issues. Interested in learning more? Most of us take listening to music or podcasts for granted. You can find them on your phone, in the car or just about anywhere you can imagine. But, have you ever wondered how those sounds were captured in the first place? To find out, Molly and Co-host Canyon shrink down and follow a sound waves as it is recorded and stored. They meet a robot who really loves to eat old school media, like cassettes and CDs. And they learn how speakers turn information into the music we hear. All that plus a new mystery sound.
