In this episode of Did You Know? The ESCO HVAC Podcast, Clifton chats with Rob from General Plumbing Supply about one of the most overlooked but essential practices in the HVACR industry: commissioning.Rob shares how skipping proper system commissioning is like bringing a newborn into the world without a health check. From relatable analogies to hands-on best practices, this episode unpacks how proper commissioning protects equipment, improves performance, and simplifies future service calls. They also discuss the evolving toolsets that make commissioning easier than ever, the value of training for both new and seasoned techs, and how a consistent "sequence of operation" mindset can transform the way we diagnose and support HVAC systems.Whether you're a technician, trainer, or business owner, this episode is a reminder that quality starts at startup.
Dana and Tom with returning guests Klarissa (I've Seen That One (IG)) and Ralph Esparza (Film Producer) re-revisit Jaws (1975) for its 50th Anniversary: directed by Steven Spielberg, written by Peter Benchley and Carl Gottlieb, cinematography by Bill Butler, score by John Williams, starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, and Richard Dreyfuss.Plot Summary: Jaws is a masterclass in cinematic suspense, a film that grips the audience with primal fear and refuses to let go. Directed with surgical precision by a young Steven Spielberg, it tells the story of a seaside town terrorized by a great white shark—an unseen menace that lurks beneath the surface both literally and metaphorically. Roy Scheider's Chief Brody, caught between political pressure and his own conscience, anchors the human drama, while Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw provide texture as a scientist and a grizzled fisherman, respectively. But the real triumph of Jaws is its restraint. The mechanical shark's frequent malfunctions forced Spielberg to show less, and in doing so, he created more: more tension, more imagination, more terror. John Williams' iconic score doesn't just accompany the action—it is the shark. What emerges is not just a thriller, but a work of art that understands the mechanics of fear and the anatomy of heroism. It's not about a shark; it's about the people who must confront it—and, by extension, themselves.Guests:KlarissaI've Seen That One (IG)Previously on Roman Holiday (1953) RevisitRalph Esparza (Film Producer)Credited on Tollbooth, Mad House, Killer Date, An Occasional Hell, and One Degree Celcius@ralph_esparza on IGPreviously on Magnolia (1999)Chapters:00:00 Introduction and Welcome Back Klarissa and Ralph03:11 Relationship(s) with Jaws15:34 Cast of Jaws16:32 Why Doesn't Jaws Seem to Age as Much as Its Comtemporaries?23:23 What is Jaws About?33:07 Background for Jaws38:33 Jaws Success - Accident or Genius?40:35 Plot Summary for Jaws42:05 Did You Know?45:51 First Break46:48 What's Happening with Klarissa and Ralph49:38 The Stanley Rubric - Legacy52:20 The Stanley Rubric - Impact/Significance54:22 The Stanley Rubric - Novelty59:24 Second Break01:00:07 The Stanley Rubric - Classicness01:06:28 The Stanley Rubric - Rewatchability01:15:15 The Stanley Rubric - Audience Score and Final Total01:17:57 In Memoriam01:19:55 Remaining Questions for Jaws01:33:22 Thank You to Klarissa and Ralph01:35:30 CreditsYou can also find this episode in full video on YouTube. You can now follow us on Instagram, Twitter,

More rain likely today…looks like sometime around 11am it should start coming down. We began the morning with the latest news on Iran, a story about a music festival where over 150 people in the crowd were poked by a needle, road buckles in Wisconsin, a new date for a human trafficking trial, and the Wisconsin Supreme Court's ruling on PFAs. Elsewhere in sports, Khris Middleton is getting PAID, a bettor wagered $8 million on the NBA Finals, and Tyrese Haliburton posted an update after surgery. We let you know what's on TV today/tonight, we talked about some of the things you shouldn't keep next to your bed, and we had a couple of feel-good stories about a UPS driver who got to say goodbye to a couple of dogs on his route, and a parasailer who saved a kayaker's life! A few "Did You Know" stories…including one about Elon's money and another about Close Encounters. In today's "Friggin' Sports", a runner had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. And during today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a guy who got stuck in a chimney, an update on the Looney Tunes guy, a #FloridaMan who shot at a customer in his convenience store when they complained about the price of beer, a snake that got into a power substation and caused a blackout, and a kid in Thailand who got some strippers at his graduation.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Ever wondered why some of the best coaches out there—talented, smart, and experienced women—still find marketing their coaching services to be a real struggle? If you're nodding along, this episode is for you. I've seen it time and again: incredible coaches who are brilliant at helping clients, but when it's time to talk about what they do, something gets lost in translation. Why is it that being great at coaching doesn't automatically make you great at marketing yourself? That's exactly what I'm unpacking in today's episode. I'm pulling back the curtain on the two big (but often hidden) mistakes I see skilled coaches making in their marketing. These aren't mistakes you can just Google—these are subtle but powerful ways you might be holding yourself back from connecting with your dream clients. Here's a glimpse at what I cover in this episode: What's really going on when amazing coaches struggle to “sell” themselves—and it's not what you think. Why talking about the root cause of your clients' struggles can actually turn them away, even though it feels like it should do the opposite. How to stop confusing your clients with solutions they're not even searching for yet—and what to focus on instead. Why comparing features and benefits of your offer misses the mark, and what your clients are actually weighing up before choosing to work with you. If you've ever felt like your marketing just isn't landing—or if you're tired of spinning your wheels and second-guessing your messaging—this one's a must-listen. I promise: you'll come away with practical shifts to help your coaching attract the right clients, without feeling unnatural or salesy. Ready to finally understand what's been holding you back? Ever felt a wave of awkwardness when talking about money, whether it's asking for it, spending it, or just looking at your bank account? Maybe you simply avoid it altogether! Most women in business have, at one point or another, faced these uncomfortable feelings. You might have even identified some money blocks and tried saying affirmations to shift them - which can help you feel good in the moment, but the awkward feelings keep recurring. What if these reactions aren't just “all in your head”? Have you ever considered that your body's nervous system is the underlying source of your discomfort, keeping you stuck in patterns that make bringing in more money harder than it needs to be? In this episode, I'm joined by Eloise Tompkins—a psychologist, somatic expert and money coach with a talent for helping women untangle their complicated emotional responses to money so they can take their businesses to 7 figures without the shackles holding them back. Eloise's approach is refreshingly real and practical. She blends science-backed nervous system regulation strategies with her deep knowledge of subconscious money blocks, and the unique experiences of entrepreneurship. She's here because she deeply understands why so many female entrepreneurs feel blocked, stuck, or nervous around money - and what you can actually do to shift it, for good. Here's a taste of what we get into: Why does your nervous system react so strongly to money conversations, and how is this different from just changing your “money mindset”? What are some classic signs you're stuck in an old money story or survival mode, even if you rationally know better? How is the relationship with money different, or maybe more challenging, for women? (And what can we do about it?) What practical steps can you use to calm your reactions, reset your nervous system, and start making decisions that help, not sabotage, your business growth? How can you learn to spot these patterns and gently start rewiring them, so you can feel comfortable asking for, receiving, and keeping the money you deserve? If you want money to feel less stressful and more like the oxygen your business needs to thrive, this conversation is for you. Listen in for fresh insights and honest talk you won't want to miss! About our Guest: Eloise Tomkins is a psychologist turned money mindset coach who helps women in business stop spiralling every time they level up. Known for blending deep nervous system work with practical strategy, she's the coach clients call when the “should be working” stops working... and they're ready to make more money without burning out, people-pleasing, or overdelivering. Dana and Tom with returning guest, Scott Cole (Twitter-X/IG (@colecommascott) movie commentator), discuss Nashville (1975) for its 50th Anniversary: directed by Robert Altman, written by Joan Tewkesbury, cinematography by Paul Lohmann, music by Richard Baskin, starring Keith Carradine, Ned Beatty, Scott Glenn, and Lily Tomlin.Plot Summary: A sprawling mosaic of American life, Nashville follows 24 characters over five days leading up to a political rally in the titular city. Set against the backdrop of country music and political ambition, the film weaves together intersecting stories of musicians, wannabe stars, politicians, and ordinary citizens. Through overlapping dialogue and naturalistic performances, Altman paints a satirical yet poignant portrait of fame, identity, and the uneasy state of the nation during the 1970s. The film crescendos into a shocking act of violence, underscoring its themes of disillusionment and the chaotic intersection of celebrity and politics.Guest:Scott ColeTwitter-X/IG (@colecommascott) movie commentator, and occasional writer/contributor for The Movie Friends podcast.com (@moviefriendspodcast)Chapters:00:00 Introduction and Welcome Back Scott03:54 Cast of Nashville05:32 Dana's First Time Seeing Nashville08:47 Did Dana Like Nashville?15:02 Background for Nashville17:26 What is Nashville About?23:18 Plot Summary for Nashville24:15 Did You Know?26:34 First Break28:30 What's Happening with Scott Cole?33:23 Best Performance(s)45:03 Best Scene(s)56:20 Second Break57:02 In Memoriam01:06:10 Best/Funniest Lines01:10:30 The Stanley Rubric - Legacy01:17:54 The Stanley Rubric - Impact/Significance01:21:39 The Stanley Rubric - Novelty01:27:09 The Stanley Rubric - Classicness01:32:44 The Stanley Rubric - Rewatchability01:39:25 The Stanley Rubric - Audience Score and Final Total01:46:52 Remaining Questions for Nashville01:51:35 Thank You to Scott and Remaining Thoughts01:57:11 CreditsYou can also find this episode in full video on YouTube. You can now follow us on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, or TikTok (@gmoatpodcast).For more on the episode, go to: https://www.ronnyduncanstudios.com/post/nashville-1975-ft-scott-coleFor the entire rankings list so far, go to: https://www.ronnyduncanstudios.com/post/greatest-movie-of-all-time-listKeywords:Nashville, Robert Altman, film analysis, character development, 1975 movies, Best Picture nominees, country music, cinematic themes, film performances, movie discussions, film, entertainment, legacy, humor,...

Guesting on a podcast is the ultimate collaboration, a short amount of time to create content that's enjoyed for years to come, yet so many episodes are poorly executed and few ever hear about them. Candace now helps women step into podcasting with confidence, whether that's launching their own show or getting booked on aligned podcasts that actually move the needle. Here's a few questions we'll be answering when you tune into this episode: Why should you consider podcasting right now, and what makes it such a lasting investment for your business? What stops so many women from ever hitting record (and what's the most surprising thing that might be holding you back)? How do you find and pitch yourself to podcasts that fit your business, expertise, and audience—without feeling awkward or inauthentic? What are the must-avoid mistakes and “make or break it” tips for being a memorable podcast guest? Why does the identity shift—actually calling yourself a ‘podcaster' or ‘expert'—matter so much in building real confidence? Grab your coffee, hit play, and come listen in. It could be exactly what you need to finally start sharing your story, your way! ...................................................... Ever felt like your offer just isn't landing, no matter how hard you try? You've tweaked your pricing, added more value, and still hear more “maybe later” than “yes, please!” If that sounds familiar, today's episode is one you need to hear. What if the real reason isn't your price or how you describe your services, but something you can't quite see? A few years back I met my ideal client and 30 minutes later lost the sale. It was a big lesson that taught me the importance of striking an energetic match between me, my offer, and my ideal client. (Listen to the ep for the full story!) It's this invisible disconnect that can end up pushing away the very people you want to work with. And in that moment I learnt what I needed to do instead! The changes I made to align my offer meant that the next discovery call ended with a win! Here's what I cover in this episode: Why focusing only on price can create a disconnect, and how your energy around your offer might be quietly repelling your best-fit clients. What it really means for your offer to be “in alignment” and the unexpected signs you might be out of sync with the people you want to serve. How I discovered this pattern through a painful “missed sale” moment, and why it became the turning point for my business (and my self-belief). The practical steps you need to take to break out of the plateau, stop playing small, and finally create an offer that feels like a no-brainer “yes” for your dream clients. Questions to ask yourself right now to see if you're truly playing in the space you want to…. plus why cutting ties with your “old way” is necessary for growth. If you're feeling stuck, second-guessing your offers, or just sensing something's off, this episode will open your eyes, and give you the courage to realign and grow. Go on, press play. Let's get your offer flowing again. ...................................................... Loving this podcast? Please drop a 5 star rating to help others find it too! Have you ever found yourself stuck, staring at a blank page, willing the words to flow, but nothing comes? If creating content sometimes feels more painful than productive, you're definitely in good company with the majority of business owners. But how do you switch on your creativity in the middle of a busy day? Today, we're tackling writer's block head-on, and I promise, the simple shifts we explore in this episode will change the way you approach your creative work. Imagine being able to create any day, with confidence and ease, even when you don't feel “inspired.” Yes, it's possible. Joining me for this fascinating conversation is Nina Worsley, a jazz singer and classically trained composer now working as a creativity coach. As someone who has had to perform and create under strict deadlines (and pressure!) in her own career, Nina's insight is practical and encouraging - she's been through it all herself and has mastered the art of igniting her best creativity on demand! Here's a taste of what we cover: Why does writer's block really show up, and how is it tied to your confidence and self-perception? What does it actually feel like to be “blocked” and how do you know if you haven't truly processed what you're trying to communicate? How can you quickly switch your brain from a busy mode to a creative mode, even if the rest of your day's been chaotic? What simple, quick exercise can help you unlock creativity in just a minute? Generational workplace gripes, “scattergories” shenanigans with meteorologist Dean Wysocki, and some hilariously questionable food pairings. Dana and Tom with 5x club member, Shane Rogers (Comedian and Host of Midnight Facts for Insomniacs) and Jesse Sertle (fellow group member of CineMadison) discuss the movie that created the biggest film franchise of all-time, Star Wars (1977): written and directed by George Lucas, cinematography by Gilbert Taylor, music by John Williams, starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, and James Earl Jones.Plot Summary: Star Wars is set in a galaxy far, far away under the oppressive rule of the Galactic Empire. The story follows a young farm boy, Luke Skywalker, who discovers his destiny when he comes across a pair of droids carrying secret plans for the Empire's ultimate weapon, the Death Star. With the guidance of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as the help of a roguish pilot, Han Solo, his co-pilot Chewbacca, and the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, Luke embarks on a daring mission to rescue Princess Leia from the clutches of Darth Vader and to aid the Rebel Alliance in their fight for freedom. The film is a tale of heroism, hope, and the battle between good and evil.Guests:Shane RogersComedian and Host of Midnight Facts for InsomniacsPreviously on Broadcast News (1987), The Big Lebowski (1998), Superman: The Movie (1978), There's Something About Mary (1998), This Is Spinal Tap (1984), Ex Machina (2015)Jesse Sertlefellow group member of CineMadisonpreviously on Rounders (1998), Easy Rider (1969), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)@jsertle on IGChapters:00:00 Introduction and Welcome Back to Shane and Jesse02:31 A Significant Movie in the History of GMOAT03:13 Cast and Background for Star Wars08:18 Relationship(s) with Star Wars18:25 What is Star Wars About?23:43 Will Star Wars Ever Be at the Peak of Culture Again?34:15 Plot Summary for Star Wars35:19 Did You Know?37:11 First Break38:00 What's Up with Shane Rogers and Jesse Sertle39:29 Best Performance(s)48:45 Best/Favorite/Indelible Scene(s)01:00:08 Second Break01:00:47 In Memoriam01:04:04 Best/Funniest Lines01:08:24 The Stanley Rubric - Legacy01:14:04 The Stanley Rubric -...
Hands up if you'd call yourself an overthinker! Many smart high-achieving women get caught in the overthinking trap (myself included!). It's when you feel cautious of making the right decisions, needing to analyse the possible options before going ahead, even though you feel like you know the answer deep down! It's so easy to get caught up in looking for the “right” way, second-guessing your instincts, and relying on outside advice instead of simply trusting what you know inside. What if tuning into your own intuition could be the missing piece that helps things flow more easily in your coaching business and - let's be honest - in your life? Imagine - faster decisions, more alignment to your higher self, less time wasted going down paths better suited to others... yep, all that's possible when you finally lean in and trust your intuition! This week, I'm thrilled to introduce you to Jo Worsfold—a spiritual channel, energy healer, and all-around expert at helping everyday people access their spiritual side. Jo's also one of my fabulous Business JAM clients, who worked with me to develop her own signature program. Whether you consider yourself “woo” or not, this conversation is for you. Jo's down-to-earth approach helps women cut through the noise, tune into their intuition, and actually use it as a guiding force in their businesses. Here's a little peek at what we cover in this episode: Why is intuition so important for women in business? Jo shares why feeling disempowered, stuck, or perpetually seeking outside approval might be a sign you're ignoring your intuition, and what can shift when you reconnect to it. What does tuning into your intuition actually look and feel like? We talk about practical, real-life signs, and how intuition can show as thoughts, emotions, or even physical sensations. How do you build the courage to trust your gut and block out the second-guessing? Jo reveals simple, playful ways to “exercise” your intuitive muscles and grow confidence in your own choices. What's the difference between fear and intuition? Learn Jo's tips on recognising when you're being held back by fear versus when your inner voice is trying to guide you. If you've ever wished making decisions in your business could feel less like a struggle and more like flow, this is the episode you don't want to miss! About our guest: Jo Worsfold is a Tasmanian channel, healer, spiritual guide & author. Jo is the founder of LUMA·NOVA and author of Equilibrium: Spirituality for Everyday People and her passion is healing and inspiring everyday women in an ethical, professional and authentic way. For ten years Jo has been using her unparalleled healing gift and down-to-earth nature to help women move beyond the monotony of life so they can reset, recharge, reconnect to their higher self and live a genuinely joyful, meaningful and soulful life. Jo has coined the phrase 'everyday spirituality'; an authentic way of being spiritual that she credits to her own exponential healing, happiness and growth - and has recently started an Australia-wide movement in everyday spirituality to showcase just how easy, effortless and magical spirituality can be for all Australian women. Is oxytocin the missing piece in your fertility journey?
Let's bust a myth straight up: Signature Programs do not have to be a group coaching program! There's literally no ONE type of offer that makes it worthy of being your signature, it's entirely open for you to design the best type of program for your clientele and your business! Have you ever noticed the difference between coaches who become go-to experts and others who are talented but struggle to be known for it? It's not their lack of value or expertise that makes them invisible, it's their lack of positioning. This is the power of a Signature Program. I've just met with a mum who created her first ever signature program and went from zero to $500k months - in just five months, with no big team and no ads. Just the one program. AND - she didn't even have an audience to leverage! I know, it sounds absolutely bananas, but that's what structuring your business around a powerful signature program can do! In this episode, I'm continuing the conversation from episode 240 (go back and listen there first if you missed it!) to explain what a signature program really is, and what it isn't. If you've been juggling a jumble of services, hoping more options will bring more clients, this is for you. I get into how having “a menu” actually sabotages your visibility and makes business harder (yep, I've been there myself!), and why shifting to one clear, high-value offer can change everything. When you listen to the end, you'll know: Why offering too many choices can make your business almost invisible, and how one clear program increases your authority and magnetism. What makes a real signature program, and why it's not just a bundle of sessions or a basic course. The three main types of signature programs that actually work for coaching businesses and how to spot which one might be right for you. How having a signature program not only simplifies your life, but can lead to bigger transformations for your clients (and yes, more income for you!). What to do if you're worried about picking the “wrong” program, or if you're unsure whether your program is actually signature-worthy. If you've been working too many late nights and weekends, and your brain feels scrambled by trying to keep track of all the piecemeal work you have coming in and you ACHE for clients who want to work with you on a much bigger and deeper transformation, then this episode is for you! Hit play and discover what could be the missing piece to make coaching feel easy, profitable, and fun again! ------------------------------------------- Special Opportunity! In this episode of the Building Better Developers podcast, Rob Broadhead and Michael Meloche dive deep into a critical—but often misunderstood—element of project management: setting deadlines. This episode goes beyond the basics of timelines and introduces the psychology, strategy, and communication needed to make deadlines effective, not stressful. Why Setting Deadlines Matters for Business Projects Deadlines define a project's rhythm. As Rob puts it, “the deadline is the finish line.” It's not just about when code is complete—it's about when the product is ready for delivery, after testing, packaging, training, and documentation. Deadlines force prioritization. Without them, projects risk becoming endless cycles of scope creep and perfectionism. But setting arbitrary or unrealistic deadlines can just as easily derail progress.
As Easter approaches, we pause to reflect on one of the most powerful and tender moments in Scripture—Mary at the foot of the cross. In this heartfelt episode, Lori Apon invites you to see Good Friday through the eyes of a woman who held the Son of God as a baby and watched Him suffer as Savior.Through Mary's journey—from the angel's announcement to Jesus' final moments—Lori draws out hope and encouragement for every single mom. Many Catholics unknowingly misunderstand Mary, even while claiming to honor her. In this episode, Fr. McTeigue breaks down the theological errors in pop culture's portrayal of Mary—especially the song Mary, Did You Know?—and he explores what the Church actually teaches about the Immaculate Conception, Incarnation, and Assumption.
