Regardless of the relationship, every person on this planet came from two parents. The interaction between a parent and child is one of the fundamental experiences of being a person. Some parents envy their child's development and success so much that they damage their relationship with their child. In this episode, I explore the parent/child power dynamic. As I mature, I am noticing small changes in my appearance. Nothing dramatic, but I can see a clear difference between my 16-year-old face and my now mid-twenties face. These changes are not bad in the slightest, just different. The difference is that I'm now older. "Old" is right up there with "fat" as words that people do not necessarily want to hear. Why is that? We all get older. A baby can't stay a baby forever, and as much as we'd like to be Forever 21, the fact is, we can't simply press pause on our bodies. In this episode, I crack open the aging egg and discuss what aging means for me. (My mic was acting weird in the middle; Caution for headphone wearers.) Definitions from Google. Accompanying songs: Landslide- Fleetwood Mac & Time Machine- Muni Long

“Get a job…” they said, “…you're an adult now.” That's what every parent tells their child. Can the transition from adolescence to adulthood be as simple as getting a job?
