Martinez was an All-American softball player for Iowa State, and excelled as a hitter, outfielder and pitcher. In 2002, she recorded 175 strikeouts while also leading the Big 12 with a .383 batting average.
This fall, Chris Bono will be inducted into the ISU Athletics Hall of Fame. Mike Green, Director of Letterwinners Engagment, visits with Bono. Chris was a three-time All-American at ISU, a two-time NCAA finalists, and the 1996 National Champion at 150 pounds.
Former ISU MBB Assistant Coach Ric Wesley visits with Director of Letterwinners Engagement. Wesley was a part of Johnny Orr's staff for all 14 seasons at Iowa State, before going on to a highly successful career as a Head Coach at Grand Valley State.
