We do a deep dive today into the Iowa Hawkeyes loss to Purdue and project out what needs to happen going forward. George Karlaftis and the Purdue defensive line exposed quite a few issues with the offensive line, most notably on the edges. Should Iowa look at moving other guys around? Also, we break down why it isn't Spencer Petras and why the wide receiver group also needs a long, hard look. True freshman Keagan Johnson has proven to be a playmaker and needs to be more involved. Defensively, the defensive line is struggling to generate pressure and against a team like Purdue, which could be dangerous with Iowa having to rely more on cover 0. We break it all down here. (0:00) Zolak & Bertrand start the third hour as they circle back to their conversation about the Patriots offensive line and their concerns ahead of the Texans on Sunday. (10:48) We discuss whether the Patriots personnel is holding Mac Jones back. (22:11) The guys go back and forth on MLB's playoff format after a caller sparks the conversation. In the opening take, Lee plays some sound from Alex Grinch and talks about how mad he was after the Kansas State game. Then Grant joins to talk briefly about his terrible food takes before getting more serious about Grinch and the defensive woes (5:40). Is Bijan Robinson the entire Texas offense? How much should we take from the Texas-Arkansas game? How did Sark decide on Hudson Card as the opening day starter over Casey Thompson (23:00)? After looking really good against Arkansas, Rice, and Texas Tech, Casey Thompson had mixed results against TCU. What is the blueprint for OU's defense against the Texas offense (32:00)? Texas has more RBs than just Bijan Robinson. A Texas starter on the O-Line is out for the year, plus we wrap up OU's defense vs the Texas offense (40:45). This Texas defense has a lot of similarities to the defense OU just saw. Texas is not very good against the run and at times the Horns invite teams to run the ball (50:30). Which Spencer Rattler will show up at the Cotton Bowl (59:45)? The guys provide their final thoughts predicitions for OU-Texas (1:04:10). We hit on Justin Harrington reportedly entering the Transfer Portal, and would you want to see Bookie back on the team this year (1:14:10)? We take a look at the Big 12. WVU is at Baylor and TCU travels to Texas Tech. Grant thinks TCU may be bad (1:18:00). Grant's been red hot making picks recently. 9-1 in his last 10. Let's see if he can stay hot this week as the guys pick Michigan State-Rutgers/Arkansas-Ole Miss/Georgia-Auburn/Penn State-Iowa/Michigan-Nebraska (1:23:10). Finally, Grant has a weird feeling that there could be a massive upset this week in college football (1:43:00). | Like the show on Facebook: @westofeverest | Follow Grant on Twitter: @GrantBenson25 | Follow Lee on Twitter: @LeeBensonNews9

What a difference a week makes. The Minnesota Vikings have just came off their first win, soundly defeating the Seattle Seahawks. After in game and halftime adjustments, the Vikes took over the game on both sides of the ball. The offense created long sustained drives and in the second half the defense held Russell Wilson and crew to zero points. Kirk Cousins exuded leadership on the field that we had not seen from him in previous seasons. He had another outstanding performance along with the O-Line giving him protection like not seen in his time in Minnesota. JJ started off busy catching passes and Adam Thielen catching touchdowns. The Justin Jefferson Griddy was seen in front of live fans for the first time, and Alexander Mattison was an absolute force in place of Dalvin Cook. It was a good day! Speaking of leaning into a quarterback, the episode art was inspired by that from Kirk Cousins back to Fran Tarkenton. Come join the conversation with the guys as they discuss the Vikings, these topics, and more. SKOL! On tonight's show… Agenda: How good is this team? How good can they be?
