In the second verse of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes, it is written: "As above, so below". The physical world follows a rational, beautiful logic, and human beings for some mysterious reason can tune in to it. Even more mysteriously, as the quote from the Hermetic writings suggest, this beautiful logic mirrors the higher dimensions of consciousness. And this echo is one key we can use to unlock access to unified consciousness. The 'beautiful logic' explored in this meditation is that of the four elements that constitute the building blocks of the physical world. In this meditation you will learn how to tune in to the harmony underlying these building blocks of reality. And by synching up with the harmony of the sacred number four, you have the possibility of transcending numbers, the elements and physical reality altogether, opening the gateway to all the power of the universe flowing effortlessly through your human form. A wise master once explained to me that the secret to a happy life was to trick your brain into letting go of all negative or limiting thoughts or emotions. If you can do that all you have to do is sit back and watch your good arrive. 'Why does it work, what is the foundation, what is the key?', I asked him. "The key is that there is already an underlying perfection. By letting go of all negative or limiting thoughts you get out of the way and allow that perfection to manifest unimpeded." Try it out yourself. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Throughout mystical traditions the world over the heart and heart center have been understood to be a gateway of sorts to Truth. The wisdom one needs in order to discover the secrets of Illumination (or, to use the old phrase: "to know God") can be found in our heart energy. But these secrets can only be attained by lifting the dark curtain of ignorance that covers the mirror we call our heart. We lift the curtain and we polish this mirror. Then the hidden treasures of divine beauty and love can begin reflecting these secrets out into our life in the physical domain. This guided meditation helps translate this precious insight into practice. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

With practice we can learn to use this power to relax and heal the body, unlock long buried traumas, and even release long-held karma. When we do this, we awaken to the fullest and best experiences life has to offer. This guided meditation helps you develop this superpower. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

It’s 3AM and you feel like crap. Time to bring out your superpowers. You actually have three superpowers. Yet you’re probably not using them or even conscious that you have these superpowers. But you have them all the same. The first power is the ability to move your attention. The second is the power to grant significance. The third is the power to assign causation. Most people project their attention out to other people, into the past or future, and spend their entire lives through the filter of other people or the non-Now. You scatter and weaken yourself by seeking approval from others, thinking about what they are thinking of you, trying to understand their motivation, or wanting something to happen. These are all acts of giving away your energy and neutralizing your power. You are depositing spiritual energy into people or ideas or memories; things you don’t have control over. Seeking authority outside yourself means you have implicitly given someone else (or some idea or event) authority over you; whether you intended to or not, you have given them power; you have granted them dominion over you. Your power of love and healing is within. It is your essential nature. Humans are social animals which means that you co-create your reality with others so it can be scary to remove this power from others. But, paradoxically, by removing this power from others you deepen your connection with them.

See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The Pythagoreans believed that the number 10 was sacred and perfect; that it symbolized God or Unity or Completeness. It turns out that the number ten, also roughly corresponds to the number of seconds it takes to breathe the "perfect" breath. What is the perfect breath? It is the breath that is universally arrived at by any careful student of spiritual or physical health. For example, people reciting a Buddhist mantra, the Latin version of the rosary, and the Catholic prayer cycle of the Ave Maria all breathe between five and six breaths per minute during their prayer or mantra or meditation. And the body loves this length: researchers in one of these experiments connected sensors to measure the subject’s blood flow, heart rate, and nervous system activity. Whenever the chanters followed this slow breathing pattern and were in this zone of about 5.5 breaths per minute, blood flow to the brain increased and the functions of heart, circulation, and nervous system reached a state of peak efficiency and harmony. In other words, the systems in the body entered a state of coherence right around this number of about five and half second inhales and five and a half second exhales, which also works out to be about five and a half breaths per minute. This same phenomenon has been observed across cultures and time periods. Whether it is Buddhist monks chanting their popular mantra, "Om Mani Padme Hum", Jainist chants, the Kundalini chant of "Sa ta na ma", each of these takes five or six seconds to vocalize, followed by a five to six second inhale. In the Hindu tradition, "khechari" hand and tongue mudras which are purported to help bolster physical health and promote spiritual development, the practitioner places their tongue and hands in specified positions and take deep, you guessed it, slow and even breaths which each take between 5.5 and 6 seconds. This phenomenon has been observed as well in Hawaiian, Native American, Japanese, African, and Taoist cultures. They all arrived at the roughly the same techniques, each requiring the same breathing patterns. So let's practice it together!Pro tips: 1) Breathe in and out through your nose the whole time; 2) Move your belly and grow your torso in three dimensions with each breath.
