This week is our Season 1 finale. I know, we cannot believe it either. After throwing back to their first love Hamilton, Amanda and Becki discuss Women and Government. Specifically, women running (or standing) for office. They'll talk about the violence women deal with to represent their constituency (or district) and how that should not be a deterrent. Also, we hear a Member of the Scottish Parliament's experience in this, Kate Forbes MSP is fantastic. To run for office you need to be an advocate for your constituency (or district). So for this week's Brewery of the week, we chose Vault City Brewing and Alchemy Brewing because when we were searching for our Woman Brewers these all men brewing teams pointed us in a direction away from them. Our final Thank a Feminist of Season 1 is no other than The Squad; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib. For the last time this season, let's dig in and learn!
