.... by the way, this is raw footage for radio....so be nice*** Help me welcome my special guest host Paul Mounds, who is all things political and sports. We unpack a lot during this episode, from Democratic Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock's win to Rev. Jamaal Bryant wanting to sell cannabis (yes, weed) from his Atlanta church. Of course, we could NOT have a conversation without weighing in on Deion Saunders's move to Colorado.
It was a sound heard coast to coast following midterms: a collective sigh of relief that the election was crazy-free, for the most part, with little violence and few claims of voter fraud. Let's talk about former President Donald Trump running as Ye's VP and more.
Reflecting on Tuesday's midterm elections
Why Are This Year's Midterm Elections Especially Important? A few of my friends stopped by ITR to chat with me. Tyron Harris, Ginnie Rae-Clay, Kenneth McClary, and Jamaal Whitlow had something to say about Ye, Blacks in Politics, and more!
....by the way, this is raw footage for radio.. be nice! I had the distinct pleasure of sharing the mic with my brother and friend, Paul Mounds. He is no stranger to ITR; I introduced Paul a couple of years ago at the start of his tenure as the first Black Chief of Staff for CT Governor Ned Lamont. Anyway, this segment is old but worth listening to. Enjoy!
.... by the way, this is raw footage for radio....so be nice*** Parents and teachers are cautiously optimistic about the new school year. However, two amazing men (and my fraternity brothers) in education join me: Dr. G. Duncan Harris, president of Capital Community College (CT), and Jesse J. White, III principal of Bloomfield High School and author, share their perspective on the new school year. Check us out! Follow me on IG @_BLMJ_ and download the official FUBU app at fuburadio.com.
