Dear Koula, I’m sorry you have cancer. Happy Holidays! I have been waiting to talk about how awkward it was to be around people during the holidays back in 2017 when I was going through chemo treatments. I received some terrible greeting messages and some that will forever make my heart smile. So I decided to share some greeting messages in hopes that they can help anyone struggling to write one to a mom in their life that is fighting cancer.I also talk about how I was tricked in accepting help... it’s a long story! You need to tune in and hear all about it. Happy Holidays!Attachment_1576723399.png(1MB)

I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer at the age of 36. I was a young mom going through chemo treatment and raising two kids. Chemo side effects were rough on me and without my family’s support I don't think I would have survived. My sister and I started www.thewarriorbox.com for cancer fighting moms who don't have the support that I did while I was doing chemo. A care package filled with useful items to help soothe chemo symptoms. Because of my cancer experience, I wanted to share my story and empower as many cancer moms as possible. www.momsbattlingcancer.com is a podcast created by my sister Christina and I, for moms raising children and battling cancer. A space where we connect with specialists, cancer coaches, cancer fighting moms / survivors, and cover topics that affect and touch our community.
