Carly Laing is a news anchor for CBS 42 in Birmingham, Alabama. However, she hails from our little slice of paradise, Walker County. To only be 27 years old, Justice Evans has quite the resume. He's a husband, father, race car driver, business owner and musician. To say he's accomplished a lot at a young age is an understatement. He joins us to tell us his story and about his influences all throughout his life. Sips up and enjoy!

Patrick Bolack is a longtime friend of the pod and we finally got him on for an episode! Patrick has an interesting occupation that helps folks like us that live in rural areas. He brings awareness to an every day issue that we may not think about too often. Also, he's earning his Walker County Citizenship Card. But, he hasn't eaten at this local, legendary staple yet. We love Bolack around here and are glad we finally got him on!

This is a story time episode this week! Last May we went to New Orleans to see Zach Bryan. Shane and Houston took the less than conventional route, so Houston joined us to tell us their side of the story. We sat down with Cory Franks, who is the mayor of Oakman, AL. He's running for a State House seat and we discussed his platform and what he hopes to do if elected.
