What if reigniting your imagination could unlock possibilities for your life and leadership you never thought were possible? In this episode of Leaders of Transformation, Nicole Jansen welcomes back leadership expert, executive coach, and author Greg Cagle to discuss his powerful new book, Reality Benders. Greg shares how our beliefs shape our behaviors, how emotions fuel outcomes, and why most people unknowingly live in reactive cycles instead of intentionally creating the future they truly want. Together, Nicole and Greg explore how to reignite imagination, challenge limiting beliefs, and unlock new possibilities in leadership, business, and life. They also unpack the neuroscience behind transformation, the power of curiosity, and how leaders can become "external catalysts" who help others see beyond current limitations and step into their highest potential. What We Discuss in this Episode Why reality is something we create — not simply something that happens to us The "Reality Cycle" and how thoughts, behaviors, and outcomes reinforce one another Why behavior modification alone rarely creates lasting transformation How beliefs drive behaviors and shape long-term results The hidden role emotion plays in achieving meaningful goals Why imagination is essential for transformation and innovation How curiosity reignites imagination and unlocks possibility Why most people unconsciously limit what they believe is possible How to move beyond survival thinking and create an intentional future The connection between imagination, emotion, and extraordinary outcomes How leaders unintentionally reinforce limiting realities in their teams The difference between focusing on performance gaps vs. reinforcing progress A powerful military case study on belief, performance, and transformation How to become an "external catalyst" for others Highlights and YouTube Chapter Titles 00:00 – Introduction to Reality Bending 02:00 – Why Greg Wrote Reality Benders 04:00 – What "Reality" Actually Means 06:00 – Why Behavior Modification Doesn't Work Long-Term 11:00 – Understanding the Reality Cycle 14:00 – Emotion as Fuel for Transformation 16:00 – Why Most Goals Fail 18:00 – The Military Performance Experiment That Changed Everything 22:00 – Future-Back Leadership vs. Past-Forward Leadership 24:00 – Seeing Yourself Differently First 26:00 – Becoming an External Catalyst for Others 29:00 – How to Reignite Your Imagination 31:00 – Why Most People Settle for Predictable Outcomes 34:00 – Unlocking Infinite Possibilities 37:00 – Final Encouragement for Leaders and Visionaries Episode Show Notes: https://leadersoftransformation.com/podcast/leadership/552-reality-benders-how-to-reignite-your-imagination-and-unlock-infinite-possibilities-with-greg-cagle Check out our complete library of episodes and other leadership resources here: https://leadersoftransformation.com ________

Comment on the Show by Sending Mark a Text Message.A factory job can look simple from the outside: run the machine, hit the quota, go home. But the real workplace is an invisible web of employment law, HR procedure, and power, and when those forces collide, the consequences can be life-changing. We walk through a federal case out of Connecticut involving a manufacturing facility, two employees, and allegations that range from racial discrimination and national origin bias to retaliation, hostile work environment, and ADA disability accommodation failures. We start on the floor where training, language, and isolation shape the daily reality of work. Then we follow what happens after complaints: hours reduced, discipline threats, and the kind of “comparator” moments that can define a discrimination case when one worker is punished and another is not. Along the way, we explain why certain stereotypes can carry special weight in court and how management's response can matter as much as the original misconduct. From there, we shift into litigation strategy. We unpack the company's denials, affirmative defenses, and what the Farragher-Ellerth defense reveals about HR as a liability shield. Finally, we break down summary judgment, the McDonnell Douglas burden-shifting framework, pretext, temporal proximity, and why Judge Janet C. Hall's ruling keeps the case alive for a jury. If you want a clear map of how employment law works in the real world, hit play, then subscribe, share this with a coworker, and leave a review with your take: where would you go for help if HR is not neutral? What does it really mean to have all that you need, especially when you are grieving? Psalm 23 reminds us that the Good Shepherd does not remove the valley, watch from a distance, or lift us above it. He walks through the valley with us. Grieving is the appropriate response to life not being as it is supposed to be, and grieving is a gift from God on the pathway to healing. God the Father comforts us in our grief. He comes alongside us in our affliction, quiets us with His love, and reminds us that He is with us in the valley. God the Son understands our grief. Jesus stood at the tomb of Lazarus and wept with those who were hurting. He is the Man of Sorrows acquainted with grief, close enough to feel our pain and walk with us through it. God the Spirit intercedes as we grieve. On the days where we have no words, the Holy Spirit is already groaning on our behalf with groans too deep for words. We are never alone in the silence. We do not serve a God who watches from a safe distance. He gets all the way into the valley with us. Whatever the pit looks like for you today, you are not alone there. Jesus is our comfort, our hope, and the Good Shepherd who walks with us through grief.Check out our video version of this episode: https://youtu.be/KPEkE6G1QhkSubscribe to our YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/8wmeCwBf_zkLearn more about us at chestnutmountain.orgFollow us on Facebook & Instagram @chestnutmtn_

Kenya Cagle's AI-generated world of secret agents, advanced technology, and an evil white nationalist conspiracy with episode 2 of the AI action series OUR MAN KENT. The past few weeks on our show have been dedicated to delving seriously into Rev. Cagle's AI work, an experience that has been alternately exciting and really tedious. As lovers of DIY film, it's pretty clear that generative AI video is here to stay as the new "folk media" form. Despite a strong anti-AI sentiment from many creatives, another tribe of auteurs finds AI to be cheap, accessible, and capable of building fantastical ideas from the ground up. The same creators that in the past would dress up as a secret agent can now embed their face onto an AI avatar and have him do death-defying stunts for them. This is a bittersweet moment because the charm of low budget live action films is their imagination of trying and failing to recreate Hollywood plots using only the equipment in your garage. On the other hand, AI as a folk media form creates bizarre scenarios and surreal humor that can be captivating, when the video itself isn't constantly warping and nauseating to watch (which is frequently.) OUR MAN KENT lets Rev. Cagle's writing (his strongest quality) shine and takes care of the set pieces, which are dreamlike and even nightmarish. Cagle's author stand-in Agent Kent Cag takes a "drone phone" call in a pool, AI generating the scene as a tableau of unsmiling young women lining each side like palace guards as Cag speaks monotonously to his nagging AI girlfriend, Tasha. Afterwards, Cag goes on a date with a beautiful young woman, only to not notice her drugging his drink, which AI generates as a giant horse-sized pill that fizzes up his entire glass in the least covert attempt at subterfuge ever. OUR MAN KENT is a fascinating watch because Rev. Cagle is closer to realizing his larger-than-life cinematic ideas than ever before, but the generations fall short in ways so off-puttingly bizarre that they frequently make us laugh out loud. Despite this, it's a fascinating piece by a Christian director because its black pride storyline is much more progressive than our usual fare.
Subscribe today for access to our full catalog of bonus episodes, including 2+ new episodes every month! http://patreon.com/boysbiblestudy Have we discovered the first great piece of AI filmmaking? We'd like to believe we are the first Christian film podcast to cover the OUR MAN KENT series, since installment one was released less than two weeks ago and currently has fewer than 100 views. AI seems to be the current artistic focus of auteur Kenya Cagle, an extremely prolific faith-based film director proven capable of creating live-action films such as our favorites THE BOY WHO SAW CHRIST and THIRTEEN MONTHS. AI in Cagle's hands is possibly a way to quickly iterate on fantastical sci-fi ideas, and hopefully not a full replacement for his live-action work, which we love. Despite personal artistic qualms about generative AI's use in art, t's undeniable that AI allows Cagle to pursue sci-fi ideas he probably couldn't pull off in live action. OUR MAN KENT contains depictions of futuristic technology such as "drone phones," "guardian angel" drones that serve as personal robotic bodyguards, and Kent's AI girlfriend "Tasha" (whom he communicates with via commands, like Alexa). These tools are deployed by protagonist Kent, a Black secret agent combating systemic anti-Blackness. In this installment, when an evil scientist cancels a university's African American Studies program, Kent's boss (the "Supreme Being") offers him a lucrative opportunity to defeat the scientist and save history. The medium of AI video adds a bizarre, uncanny tone to the piece; character movements and animations such as car rides are unnatural to the point of nauseating, but they add a character that at times makes it delightful to watch. While generative AI's impact on the creative process remains controversial among film fans, and for good reason (critiques of resource usage and creative plagiarism are valid), from a philosophical standpoint it's clear that AI doesn't mask Kenya Cagle's creative spirit. The singular, weird vision of his live-action films is highly present in OUR MAN KENT, allowing the medium to extend his message, even if it makes the film hard to watch at times. Chaos isn't a character flaw, and “just get organized” isn't a plan for ADHD kids and adults. On this episode of The Brainy Moms podcast, Dr. Amy and Sandy chat with Dr. Kelly Cagle to talk about what actually makes home life simpler when ADHD and other neurodivergent needs are in the mix. Dr. Kelly is a parenting educator, ADHD researcher, host of the Parenting IQ podcast, and homeschool mom of three so she knows a little about this topic! If you've ever stared at a pile of papers, a closet full of clothes you don't even like, or a kitchen missing every spoon, you'll hear yourself in this conversation. We dig into why simplicity matters for the ADHD brain: fewer options means fewer distractions, less decision fatigue, and fewer spirals that steal your attention before the day even starts. Dr. Kelly shares concrete, realistic systems that reduce daily friction, including a “technology basket” approach for chargers and devices, plus ways to set non-negotiables in shared spaces without turning your home into a drill camp. We also talk sensory processing and why clothing comfort can make or break focus, sleep, and emotional regulation, along with how curiosity can replace power struggles when a child insists on the same outfit again and again. If you're parenting in a mixed neurotype home, we cover how to support without shaming, including better language than “pay attention” and how to offer practical strategies in the moment. You'll also hear how to chunk tasks for overwhelmed teens, how to balance messy creative zones with calmer community spaces, and why movement and sleep can be the quiet backbone of better executive function. Subscribe to The Brainy Moms, share this with a parent who needs a calmer reset, tell someone looking for a podcast for Christian moms, and leave a comment on the one system you're going to try this week.ABOUT US:The Brainy Moms is a parenting podcast hosted by cognitive psychologist Dr. Amy Moore and Sandy Zamalis. CTL Script/ Top Stories of January 9th Publish Date: January 9th Pre-Roll: From the Ingles Studio Welcome to the Award-Winning Cherokee Tribune Ledger Podcast Today is Friday, January 9th and Happy Birthday to Jimmy Page I’m Chris Culwell and here are the stories Cherokee is talking about, presented by Times Journal Fincher wins runoff for Cherokee County’s state House seat Farm Bureau seeks entries for High School Art Contest Georgia Republicans move to scrap state income tax by 2032 despite concerns Plus, Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on saturated fats We’ll have all this and more coming up on the Cherokee Tribune-Ledger Podcast, and if you’re looking for Community news, we encourage you to listen and subscribe! Commercial: INGLES 10 STORY 1: Fincher wins runoff for Cherokee County’s state House seat Republican Bill Fincher is poised to take the Georgia House District 23 seat, according to unofficial results. With all precincts reporting by 8:57 p.m. Tuesday, Fincher secured 71.38% of the vote—4,345 ballots—against Democrat Scott Sanders, who pulled in 1,742 votes. Fincher, a retired assistant DA and RV park owner, thanked supporters on Facebook: “To everyone who voted, knocked doors, prayed, or just believed—thank you. I’m humbled and ready to get to work.” Sanders, meanwhile, called his campaign a success, saying, “We hit every goal and laid the groundwork for 2026. No more uncontested elections.” The seat, left vacant after Rep. Mandi Ballinger’s passing, saw six candidates in the Dec. 9 special election. Fincher and Sanders advanced to the runoff. Turnout was low—just 13.75%—with most votes cast on Election Day. Results will be certified Friday after the elections board reviews one provisional ballot. STORY 2: Farm Bureau seeks entries for High School Art Contest Hey, high school artists—this one’s for you! The 2026 Georgia Farm Bureau High School Art Contest is here, and there’s cash on the line. The state winner gets $250, and 10 district winners snag $100 each. Not bad, right? It’s open to all 9th–12th graders (public, private, or homeschool). The rules? Create your masterpiece on 8.5 x 11-inch white paper using black, white, and gray. Use whatever works—charcoal, graphite, pen, chalk, mixed media, you name it. Just one entry per person, though. Deadline? Feb. 6. Drop your entry at the Cherokee County Farm Bureau office. Questions? Call 770-479-1481. Let’s see what you’ve got! STORY 3: Georgia Republicans move to scrap state income tax by 2032 despite concerns Cutting state income taxes sounds great, right? But here’s the catch: how do you replace billions in lost revenue without gutting schools, health care, or public safety—or jacking up other taxes? That’s the question Georgia Republicans are wrestling with as they push to eliminate the state’s personal income tax by 2032. Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, eyeing the governor’s mansion in 2026, is leading the charge, with State Sen. Blake Tillery backing him up. Their plan? Start by exempting the first $50,000 of income for singles ($100,000 for couples) in 2027. Sounds nice, but it’d cost the state $3.8 billion in year one alone. Tillery says they’ll cover it with surplus funds and borrowing for infrastructure, but critics—Democrats and even some Republicans—aren’t sold. For now, the debate rages on. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. We’ll be right back. Break: INGLES 1 STORY 4: Prep Roundup: Hamby, Bass have record-setting nights Creekview’s Kailyn Hamby had a night to remember, shattering both the single-game and all-time scoring records as the Grizzlies rolled past Sprayberry, 62-35. Hamby dropped 33 points, grabbed six boards, and helped Creekview climb to 13-1 overall and 4-0 in Region 6AAAAA. They’re now neck-and-neck with River Ridge for the top spot. Next up? A Friday showdown at Pope. Meanwhile, River Ridge stayed unbeaten in region play, edging Pope 70-60 behind Finley Parker’s 28 points and Makayla Roberson’s 25. Elsewhere, North Paulding handled Etowah 56-46, and Sequoyah crushed Woodstock 78-50 with a dominant third-quarter run. Cherokee also outlasted Wheeler, 41-34. PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Will Rajecki. If you’ve followed Cherokee County football these past few years, you know the name. It’s only fitting he caps off his high school career as the 2025 Cherokee County Offensive Player of the Year. Records? He smashed them. Flashy stats? Oh, plenty. Rajecki was the heart of Sequoyah’s offense, leading the Chiefs to their first region title since 2003 and back-to-back state quarterfinals for the first time ever. The numbers are wild: 4,049 career rushing yards (a school record), 66 all-purpose touchdowns, and a jaw-dropping seven-touchdown game against Sprayberry that landed him third in state history. This season alone, he racked up 1,974 rushing yards, 30 touchdowns, and helped Sequoyah to a 35-14 record over his four varsity years. Now? He’s weighing offers from Arkansas, Oregon State, and Georgia after decommitting from Memphis. Wherever he lands, one thing’s clear: Rajecki’s story is just getting started. STORY 5: Cagle names appointee to Cherokee County T-SPLOST committee Cherokee County just named the first three members of its new T-SPLOST Citizens Review Committee, a group tasked with keeping an eye on how the county spends its transportation sales tax dollars. On Tuesday, Commissioner Will Cagle appointed Jack Norton, a Canton resident, Marine Corps vet, and small business owner with a background in transportation. Norton joins Ashley Holcomb, appointed by Chairman Harry Johnston, and Tom Teague, chosen by Commissioner Benny Carter. Two spots are still open, but Johnston isn’t worried. The 1% T-SPLOST, approved by voters in November, kicks off April 1 and is expected to bring in $445 million over six years. The committee’s job? Make sure the funds are spent responsibly and projects stay on track. They’ll review reports, offer recommendations, and keep the public informed—but they can’t change the project list. Meetings will be open to the public, with the 2026 schedule set at the first session. And now here is Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on saturated fats Commercial: We’ll have closing comments after this. Episode 98 Happy New Year friends! I am delighted to be starting a new year with you on the podcast and I already have so many great things in store for us. We're starting today with my guest, Dr. Kelly Cagel. Dr. Kelly is all about helping families navigate life with kids who interact with the world differently through things like ADHD. She came to the US from Brazil as a little girl, knowing no English and that experience made her want to help kids who are navigating school and growing up in the midst of challenges, just like she did. If you are feeling frustrated or discouraged about your kid who always wants to move or be with his friends, let this episode be the one that encourages you to see those things as a benefit and not a detriment. We've all been in that place of discouragement, but we don't have to stay there. Dr Kelly has tons of resources for you to help you with all this and more. Use the links below to find her! Also, as we start this new year, can I ask a favor of you? Will you leave a review of this podcast? It's one of the best ways for the podcast to grow. Leave one here. Secondly, if you've read it, can you leave a review of my book, It's Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn? Thousands of you have read the book, but most of us don't bother to leave reviews. Ginny Yurich sits down with Dr. Kelly Cagle, educational researcher, former teacher, and host of the Parenting IQ Podcast, for a practical, hopeful conversation about what kids actually need to thrive in today's school-and-screen-saturated world. Kelly shares her story of moving from Brazil to the U.S. at age 11, learning English through sheer curiosity (and PBS's Arthur), and being pushed ahead through school, an experience that made her question how quickly we rush children through development. Together, they zoom out to look at what other countries do differently (including Finland's later start and play-based early years), why the American system often rewards compliance over growth, and how that pressure can hit certain kids, especially those with ADHD, extra hard. You'll also get immediately usable ideas for supporting ADHD at school and at home without turning your child into a “problem to manage.” Kelly explains why small accommodations can be game-changing (gum or mints for sensory input, permission to stand or pace, movement breaks, flexible seating), and why partnering with teachers matters more than picking the “perfect” school. The heart of this episode is Kelly's grounded message: real school success starts at home, and “less is more” isn't a vibe, it's a strategy. If you're trying to un-bubble-wrap your kids, rebuild healthy rhythms, and raise children with self-control, perseverance, and a sense of belonging, this conversation will leave you encouraged and equipped. Isn't a bit baffling that people are complaining about the wild and wooly world of ACC football? As if adding some excitement into their weekend was some kind of bad thing? Get real folks. Embrace the madness as it is truly epic. We've never had so much to talk about at this point in the season in years and that includes Coastal Chaos, which on the face of it was just 'click-bait' anyway. There's no denying it. This IS a football conference and it's only getting better. Special guest Drew Cagle of Clemson Tigers on SI joins Will and Jim on the front end of ACC Nation to delve into Clemson football, basketball and the word on a BBQ sweet spot. Cagle helps dissect some of the issues that the Tigers have faced on the field, what's changing with Dabo's approach to personnel and then look out, Brad Brownell (who is perennially thought of as having one foot out the door) may be sneaking up on ACC men's basketball yet again this season. Football You'll have to listen or watch to find out about the recommended BBQ restaurant. Cagle may make your mouth water after you hear him talk about this well-known landing spot. Listen, like and subscribe to ACC Nation podcast, watch us on YouTube or listen 24/7 on streaming radio.

Police in Atlanta say 49-year-old Billy Joe Cagle was arrested after threatening to shoot up Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Officers found him at the airport and took him into custody without anyone being hurt. Investigators say they found an AR-15 rifle and 27 rounds of ammunition in his pickup truck, which was parked outside the airport. Cagle faces multiple charges, including making terrorist threats and possession of a firearm by a felon.President Donald Trump and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese signed a rare earth minerals agreement on Monday, aimed at reducing their dependence on China. China currently dominates the global rare earth supply chain and has recently imposed stricter export rules. The deal includes plans to jointly invest over $3 billion in critical minerals projects within the next six months. Ahead of Trump's anticipated meeting with Chinese regime leader Xi Jinping in South Korea, he has also threatened China with export restrictions and additional 100 percent tariffs, and has demanded increased purchases of U.S. soybeans. The government shutdown is now the second-longest in history, with Democrats refusing to pass a clean resolution to fund the government for what was the 11th time on Monday. They are demanding extended Obamacare subsidies and that Medicaid cuts be walked back. Republicans are continuing to reject the $1.5 trillion demand. The GOP is now pivoting to another plan, paying troops and some federal workers during the shutdown. It's unclear if they will get enough support to continue doing so, however, with some Democrats already rejecting what they call the GOP's attempt to pick and choose who gets paid.

Commercial: Ingles Markets 5 STORY 1: New round of community grants for literacy open with reading by Super Bowl champ The Georgia Reads program is back, offering $20,000 grants to boost literacy across the state. And who better to kick things off than Super Bowl champ-turned-literacy advocate Malcolm Mitchell? On Monday, Mitchell read to 400 fourth graders at the College Football Hall of Fame, sharing his book The Magician’s Hat—and a little inspiration. He’s on a mission, attending 75 reading events a year. Mitchell’s foundation, Share the Magic, has been changing lives since 2016. The program, backed by the Georgia Council on Literacy, comes as state test scores show room for improvement—only 43% of fifth graders scored proficient in English last year. Lawmakers are investing millions in teacher training and student screenings, hoping to turn things around. Communities like Dalton and Augusta are already using past grants to teach parents about literacy. Applications for this year’s grants are open now—details on the Georgia Reads website. STORY 2: Will Cagle wins vacant Cherokee County commissioner seat Republican Will Cagle is poised to take the Cherokee County District 1 Commissioner seat, with unofficial results showing a decisive win. By 9:37 p.m. Tuesday, Cagle had secured 75.19% of the vote—8,887 ballots—while Democrat Charles Ravenscraft trailed with 24.81% (2,932 votes). Cagle thanked voters for their turnout, even during Fall Break. Ravenscraft, gracious in defeat, congratulated Cagle. Cagle’s win follows a runoff after no candidate cleared 50% in August. Results await certification. STORY 3: Dickerson wins runoff for open Georgia Senate seat Republican Jason Dickerson is set to become Georgia’s next state senator for District 21, according to unofficial results. By 9:55 p.m. Tuesday, Dickerson, an investment manager from Canton, had secured 61.47% of the vote (19,061 ballots), defeating Democrat Debra Shigley, an attorney from Milton, who garnered 11,950 votes. At his Canton watch party, Dickerson shared that representatives of Donald Trump had called to congratulate him. Shigley, conceding Tuesday night, and thanked her supporters. The seat was vacated earlier this year when Brandon Beach was appointed U.S. treasurer. Results await certification. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. We’ll be right back. Break: Ingles Markets 5 STORY 4: Three sentenced for trafficking meth in Cherokee County Three people are heading to prison after pleading guilty to meth trafficking and other charges, the Cherokee County DA’s office announced. Justin Carl Benson, 29, of Canton, got 10 years without parole for meth possession with intent to distribute and giving false info to police. Heather Sparrow Bird, 49, also of Canton, was sentenced to 15 years (parole possible) for trafficking meth, plus charges involving oxycodone, clonazepam, alprazolam, and marijuana. Terry Raymond Spriggs, 53, received 20 years without parole for meth trafficking and theft charges. The case began in July 2023 with a 911 call about suspicious activity on Lower Scott Mill Road. Deputies found a stolen truck, drugs scattered throughout a home, and even a stolen Harley in the yard. STORY 5: Canton looks to bond to fund fire station renovations Canton’s Fire Station 16 is finally getting the overhaul it desperately needs. On Sept. 18, the city council gave the green light to move forward with a revenue bond to fund the $8 million renovation. Here’s the deal: firefighters have been living in a mobile unit inside one of the bays since 2017—yes, 2017—because the building’s in such rough shape. The new plan? Permanent housing for firefighters, more space for services, and a design that honors the station’s century-old legacy. The bond, expected to close in November, will cover $5.8 million, with impact fees paying off the debt. Construction starts in 2026. Finally. Trailing were Republicans Rick Whiteside, Justin Page, Jonathan Browning, and Robert Ridley. Cagle thanked his fellow Republicans for “strong, honorable campaigns” and urged conservatives to show up again. Ravenscraft, meanwhile, said he’s “honored” by the support and ready to serve. In this episode, Adi Klevit interviews Rusty about his journey from a difficult childhood to becoming a leading advisor to entrepreneurs and business owners. He explains how businesses can treat taxes as “tax capital,” using strategies like entity restructuring and charitable giving to maximize value. Throughout, he emphasizes the importance of systems that align advisors, forecast tax impact, and create predictable financial outcomes.

Today, Trump was joined by El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele to discuss the ongoing deportations. It's safe to say the pair held their ground against the media. No terrorists who have been deported to El Salvador will be returned, and El Salvador will continue to accept deportees. Up next, election fraud is still alive and well. North Carolina's Supreme Court just voted to allow 60,000 questionable ballots to count. It would appear Scott Presler's claim that there is no election fraud is proven more and more false by the day. Jonathan Cagle, who has done his own deep dive on Scott Presler, joins the show to weigh in. Later, the United States is reviving its manufacturing industry, but not everyone agrees. Who disagrees? Well, you'll just have to stick around… All this and more on today's Untamed.
Drew Cagle and the Reputation are bringing the danger back to rock n' roll with their latest release "Bad Attitude," which features an appearance from L.A. Guns' guitarist Tracii Guns. What if parenting focused on teaching our children self-regulation? Imagine if they knew how to advocate for themselves and understood the unique ways they learn best. In today's episode, Paige welcomes Dr. Kelly Cagle, host of the Parenting IQ podcast, author of God's Promises as Waves, and devoted mom to three boys: Levi, Titus, and Micah, alongside her husband, Josh. Paige's TakeawaysDuring different seasons, certain things deserve a no, (even if they're good things).Filter and focus! If it's not part of the vision, filter it out. Your child needs time to REST and CREATE. Take a brain break!Physically remove yourself from your task to reset your brain.Move your body! Stretch, do jumping jacks, run stairs, etc.Teach your child to recognize their body cues.Kid have the wiggles? Let them know they can get up and dance, move around, and reset their body. Teach them how to advocate for this need, especially in a school setting. E.g. Go to the teacher and kindly ask if they can move/stretch in the back of the class during lessons so they can focus better. Paige ClingenpeelQuestions About the Podcast?
