Samhain/Halloween when the veil between the worlds is thin and if you are cunning you just may see what lies beyond. In fact, you just may see what lies are keeping you tethered to the construct of "normalcy". This is a warm and hearty chat where we explore the current state of affairs in the craft, paganism, Wicca, and the natural magical pathways therein that are so linked to the idea of the "Witch" in the modern round. This is a casual chat and one I very much enjoyed. You may find Mannun on YT:https://www.youtube.com/@WitchNTheWorkingTips are most welcome:buymeacoffee.com/niishOur website:https://thecosmicsalon.comI want to thank the producers of this show:Meredith Walako (Scheduling, bookings, and social media manager). Welcome back to the studio. This is My Day of Play, where you're taken into the real events and actions of how it happens long before the process of editing or cleaning up. The original purpose of these episodes was to give my broadcasting students something to edit, to practice with and to call their own. Then I realized that you are just as important. Share the reality of how it really went. We begin things with journalist and author TJ English who in late 2024 pumped up the volume on drugs and violence in the book Kilo Willy Falcon and the cocaine empire that seduced America. Our second conversation takes us deep into the thinking process of Alex Segura who has tapped into a very secret world. His latest was Alter Ego. Then we'll wrap things up with Michele Weaver and Nathan Owens who starred in last year's favorite holiday film Tis The Season on OWN This is My Day of Play. Completely unedited in the way of meeting the wizard behind the curtain. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

It's mentioned in the show, but it was good. It had ginger beer. Helpful I know. When I remember, check the Facebook group.

If Thanksgiving is the season of gratitude, and Christmas is the season of generosity, then Easter is the season of forgiveness. So if it is such a prominent topic in our Christian faith, why can it be so hard to talk about?
In this episode, I'm diving into the emotion of anger, especially as it shows up during the season of spring. With its dynamic energy and movement, spring tends to stir up emotions, and many of us may find ourselves feeling a little more rage-y than usual. Spring is tied to the liver, gallbladder, thyroid, and estrogen. These hormonal and organ systems are all involved in energy movement. I talk a lot about how we're not just physical beings—we're a complex mind-body-spirit system—and emotions like anger move through all these layers. And when we feel anger rising in spring, it mirrors what's happening in nature: everything is in motion, pushing upward, breaking through the soil, just like energy breaking through emotional or physical stagnation within us.Spring is the time of renewal, and our bodies are asking us to participate in that momentum. So whether it's lemon water, leafy greens, a shout in the woods, or a dance in your living room — it all counts. It all matters. Let it move.In this episode:[00:37] We are talking all about anger today on The Fully Nourished Podcast![01:19] What is your anger trying to tell you, and how do you deal with it? In this holiday episode we celebrate the season with humor, heartfelt memories, and a touch of glamour. Pol' reflects on his December 27th birthday overshadowed by Christmas and growing up celebrating Armenian Christmas on January 6th. He shares nostalgic tales of leaving cookies and vodka for Santa and navigating cultural shifts after moving to the U.S. Patrik recounts his German-inspired traditions, including his mother's elaborate holiday decorations, like ornaments suspended from the ceiling, and upside down Christmas tress while Pol' reveals his memorable Bulgari-themed Christmas tree. The *Runway Rundown* segment adds festive flair as they critique celebrity holiday fashion: Beyoncé and Blue Ivy stun in matching gold, though Blue Ivy's mature look sparks debate. Grace VanderWaal earns praise for her chic transformation. Heidi Klum's pearl-white gown misses the mark, drawing playful jabs. Jordyn Woods dazzles in sequins and fur, while Chloë Sevigny's lace dress gets labeled a fashion fail. The conversation weaves personal anecdotes with humor, exploring traditions like Armenian feasts, German holiday treats, and the creative ways families adapt customs across generations. The episode ends with gratitude to listeners, a teaser for Pol's celebrity coffee readings, and heartfelt holiday wishes. Full of laughs, warmth, and festive spirit, this episode is a delightful celebration of the season. Rose Walsh is a home renovator who insists on being present anytime there's a showing of one of her properties. She's interested in a cottage in Ireland and puts in an offer to a man named Sean—though her approach is unnecessarily spicy. When she arrives in Ireland, Sean recognizes her on the street and tries to talk to her, but she's immediately wary—like STRANGER DANGER. She later shows up at the cottage, only to be shocked when she discovers that Sean is the same guy from the city. She declares that she's going to flip the house, but he argues that house flipping is the worst thing to ever happen to homes. She insists, "Just show me the house."To her dismay, the house is an absolute disaster—she's been house-fished. Sean tells her she should have read the fine print, and she's left feeling discouraged.Things take an unexpected turn when she discovers that Sean essentially runs the town—he's everything from the fire marshal to the local real estate agent. Although Rose is dead set against selling the house, the townspeople are eager for her to do so. Sean offers to help make the situation right. As Rose works on fixing up the house, Sean spends as much time with her as possible. They go out drinking, stay up all night, and somehow manage to form fully functioning sentences—so, things are going pretty well. They eventually agree that what the house really needs, more than a functioning roof or repairs, is a Christmas tree.Rose finally gets the house ready for a showing, and a couple expresses interest. When they ask why she's selling, she admits, "I don't know. Maybe I want to stay after all."In a wild twist, a woman—who turns out to be a famous pop star who's recently shaved her head—arrives in the town, hiding from the public eye.Rose struggles with whether or not she should sell the house, even after receiving an offer. Sean keeps urging her to make a decision, not only because the buyers are pushing for an answer, but because he's also super into her. During a romantic picnic, they almost kiss, but Rose says she needs more time.On the day of the cold plunge, Rose arrives and tells Sean she's found a home—not with the cottage, but with him. He tells her that they don't have to stay in Ireland; he'd go anywhere with her. They head to the water for the cold plunge, share a kiss, and run into the sea together.
