Happy February! It's the month of love, which can be a fun time or a bit of a bitter time. If you're not celebrating Valentine's Day with a special love interest, are you making room to pass that love on to yourself? Valentine's Day isn't just about celebrating our love for others, it's also an opportunity to give ourselves a bit more attention! What's something that makes you love yourself a bit more on the days it's hard? Self love x mental health link as mentioned in the episode!
It's that time of year again! The holiday season is over and my social media timelines are filled with people talking about needing a break from alcohol. Whether you're ditching alcohol for the month of January or trying to push it a little further than a month, there's never a bad time to start. The Dry Month challenges were so hard for me for years, but now that I've got four alcohol-free months under my belt, I've been able to see the benefits that came along with leaving alcohol behind me. Every person's experience is entirely different, but it never hurts to hear each perspective! If you're thinking of taking a break and need some guidance on where to start or tools to help you navigate the experience, don't hesitate to reach out. You can find me on Instagram and Twitter under the handle @youllbefinepod.
Welcome to You'll Be Fine, the podcast formerly known as Podcast27! Still hosted by Haley Huseby, You'll Be Fine is centered around mental health, self-help and personal wellness just as before. In this first episode, Haley and her husband Drew reflect on 2022 and their highs and lows of the year. They discuss their biggest challenges + favorite moments of the year and how it affected their mental health, sobriety, the lessons they learned in the past 12 months and give a rundown of their time at When We Were Young Festival! Listen to the very end to hear Drew quote Lightening McQueen over and over. Technical difficulties with the sound will be fixed going forward!
If you're like me, you probably find yourself daydreaming multiple times a day about how you envision yourself in an alternate life. No more of that! What if we just started turning that habit of watching others do it on Tiktok around and did it ourselves with no shame? What's the worst that could happen? Maybe we could benefit from having Main Character Energy. 20 Ways To Begin Romanticizing Your Life (if you're stuck in a rut like me!)
Do you use any apps to help track your mental health? Here's my top three! I Am Sober, Daily Bean and Finch are all apps that help you track your sobriety and/or mental and physical health and more! Sometimes it's more fun taking care of yourself when you have a cute little app to look forward to everyday. There's an app for everything these days! I Am Sober app Daily Bean app Finch app

Welcome to 20TIMinutes' and Podcast27's first collaboration! Tim McCarthy and host of Podcast27 Haley Huseby come together to discuss a variety of subjects after connecting on Twitter when the new year began. With the podcast community being so large, some would think it would be hard to find people out there that give you the support you need when starting up a new project, but it's the complete opposite. The podcast community holds some of the most encouraging supporters, and both Tim and Haley have been lucky to connect not only with one another, but others from around the world, form lasting friendships and bring amazing hosts on for some rad interviews. In this episode's interview we take a dive into Haley and Tim's mental health diagnoses. Deeming themselves “bipolar siblings,” the two can relate very heavily to each other regarding their past with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. They discuss how their spouses help support them in the darker times, explain what intrusive thoughts feel like to them and open about about some of their mental health idols. But wait up! It's not all mental health for this one, we get to hear about Tim's air time on game shows and being from Boston. Is Haley sick of hearing The Devil Went Down To Georgia, being from Georgia? We'll see. To wrap it all up, the two end the show with a list of things they're thankful for - but they might surprise you. Check out Tim's podcast 20TIMinutes on all major podcasting platforms and don't forget to subscribe, listen and leave a review!
Drew's Mimi Judy is here to talk to us about her past with exorcisms and paranormal experiences! We're super excited about having her on the episode. :)

We discuss Covid, being a podcaster, what it's like to teach middle schoolers, having immigrant parents and more in this episode. I couldn't be more thankful for the podcast community and the friends I've already made along the way, and I'm thrilled with how well this first podcaster-interview went! Thanks for listening and make sure to follow Oscar and The Everything Show on all major podcasting platforms. Enjoy! :)
