Each week we talk about comics, tv, and movies. Each episode also features a different beer or liquor.
*Ful Length* Pearl Jam, local Seattle grunge band pioneers, were putting on a benefit concert iseries n Seattle called "The Home Shows" during our recording. In an effort to synergize, we had a few of Georgetown Brewing's (also based in Seattle) Home Town Shows Seattle Pale Ale (https://georgetownbeer.com/beer/details/the-home-shows).
Since we were both in town for a bit, we got together to do what we do best: Drink and Rant. This episode, we enjoyed some Sexton Irish Whiskey,

We make a rare recording appearance this week, as we partake in some Wild Turkey 101. See you next time!
So much rants. Also, Fremont Brewing's Stone Squirrel AND some Copperwork's Whiskey. Damn Gina!
Maker's Mark Private Select is on the menu for this episode, as is Tide Pods, but not in the same way.
We are back from the end-of-year hiatus with more shenanigans!
We try something different to drink this week, and decide that it is probably better to stick with what we know, so we rant about things.
We try something a little different this week, a mesquite smoked whiskey from Del Bac in Tucson.
*File Corrected* We're are back this week with the rants and Goose Island Octoberfest Marzen
Sometimes, it's best to just stick with the original. This is a lesson we learned this week when we tried an Upscale Manhattan.
We decide to forego the Japanese whisky we talked about last week, and instead have some Irish Coffee, which is coffee, Irish whisky, and Irish cream. Topics of discussion include the lawsuit against Kona Brewing, the T-Mobile announcement of free Netflix for T-Mobile customers, the Moring Glories comc book, and a variety of TV shows.
We finish out our exploration of Jim Beam by trying their Bonded variety. We quickly learn why the label recommends using it as part of a cocktail. We also discuss the results of the McGregor vs Mayweather "Money Fight".
Adrian and Jeigh move on the Jim Beam Double Oak, which doesn't rank very high on the Beam list for either of them. Both hosts recently started watch new Netflix original series: Glow for Adrian, Ozark for Jeigh. Lots of comic news and talk, as well as random rants.
We are back after a short hiatus caused be us traveling the country and sampling the alcohol to be had. We continue our exploration of Jim Beam with their Devil's Cut offering. Also, we talk about Dark Nights: Metal and Gotham City Garage.
We record a day early this week due to SDCC. However, that doesn't stop us from trying another Jim Beam variety. This week is Ghost, which is what is known as a white whiskey. We rank it in comparison to the others, with differing opinions. Lots of TV talk this week, and lots of bad movies were watched. Check it out!
We continue our exploration of Jim Beam this week with their Black Label. Both Adrian and Jeigh and surprised by how much of an improvement the black label is over the white label. Current rankings is 1. Black. 2. White. They also discuss their opinions on Spider-Man: Homecoming, with both of them ranking it a 6.5/10. They are looking forward to Spider-Man: Sadie Hawkins in the next years.
In July, we will be having a different release from Jim Beam each week, leading up to the one we enjoyed on the missing episode 216. This week, we start with the traditional Jim Beam. We also talk about some great comics, including Clue #1; The non-traditional release of Jay-Z's new album; the news the Costco will soon be serving burgers in their food court, and much more.
In this episode, we try out the new Blood Orange Barrel Finished Gin from Copperworks Distilling in Seattle, and it does not disappoint. According to Adrian, the same can't be said of the new Katy Perry album.
We enjoy a delicious maple porter from Backwoods Brewing Company. We also find that we have differing views on Wonder Woman, but are both pissed about Batman #24.
Due to some technical issues, we lost the original episode 216. It's too bad, because it was without a doubt the most amazing podcast episode in the last twenty years. We are back to regularly scheduled programming this week though, as we try our first mead: Viking Blod from Dansk Mjod.
Jeigh is convinced that they are living through Maximum Overdrive due to the number of technical mishaps that happen this week.
Neither of us care about horse racing, but decide to have mint juleps to celebrate the recent Kentucky Derby!

We try a Pineapple Rum from Plantation this week. I learned that this isn't just rum flavored with Pineapple, but that pineapple is actually used in the distilling process instead of cane sugar. Super fascinating, you should look into it. Also, Jeigh gives talks about Supergirl: Being Super #3, Adrian talks about Iron Fist and his history of the Marvel/Netflix shows, and they both talk about a podcast called S-Town.
A shorter episode this week, as we try the 3 Peppers Cider from Seattle Cider Co. Also in this week, Jeigh talks about Get Out, Adrian talks about Archie: The Hunger, and they both talk about their reaction to watching Wrestlemania 33.
Adrian decided that Jeigh needed to try an AMF, since he mentioned on the previous week's show that he had never had one. That was a terrible idea. We dicuss the season finale of This Is Us, and how it built up expectations that it did not deliver on. Jeigh talks about falling asleep through Logan, and says he will re-watch it (he won't) Adrian actually has a stack of comics again this week (we'll see how long that lasts), which leads to a discussion about the reveal of Kyle Rayner once again being a Green Lantern, despite what previews for upcoming issues depict.
We go back to our youth this week as we drink Irish car bombs in honor of St Patrick's day. In comics, Adrian talks about who Clark Kent is in the curent Superman comic. In TV, Jeigh talks about an announcement concerning one show that Adrian feels very strongly about. Also, we discover a problem with some of out planning this week, and have to make a quick decision on what to do.
This week, we drink Dreamsicles, inspired by Adrian's binge watchcing of the office. Jeigh complains about some art issues in his books, and talks All-New Fathom #2. Adrian doesn't have his books again this weeek due to snow, but is able to give us his thoughts on his new Nintendo Switch, as well as the most recent WWE PPV event.
We honor Carnival this week as we drink some caipirinhas, which are made with not Brazlian rum. Adrian didn't book his book again this week due to snow, but as a result we get to talk Invincible a bit. Also, things and stuff.

This week, Adrian proves that the Brit's don't understand how much a pint is as we enjoy 20oz of Boddington's Pub Ale. Also this week, we rant about things.
We're back, this time with 2 working mics! We switch things up a bit this week by drinking coffee. But it's Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Coffee, so it's ok!
With nearly 100 episodes under our belt, we have checked the equipment before every recording to be sure that it works, and have never found an issue. This episode we didn't check, and of course there was an issue. Jeigh's mic wasn't working. You can hear what was picked up on Adrian''s mic though, so not all is lost...
This week, we look to 21st Amendment and their Toaster Pastry India Red while we talk about our watches and reads this week. We also sample some hot sauces from Homeboys Hot Sauce throughout the show.
We are back from a break, and introducing what we are calling Season 2. To celebrate, we try out two beers from pFreim Brewing.
We move our recording to a new secret location this week as we partake in some Japanese whisky. We also talk Supergirl, Nightwing, American Ninja Warrior, and The Hills
We travel north of the border with this weeks Canadian Whisky: Pendleton Midnight. We also lament the loss of Samsung Milk Music, while questioning whether anybody still uses Slacker Radio.
This drink is a long time coming. After talking about it for many months, we pull the trigger on Maker's Mark Cask Strength, and my was it delicious. In addition to our normal TV, Movies, and Comics talk, we get a little too deep into talk about audio quality (irony understood)
In this episode, we are Gentleman. As in, drinking Gentleman Jack. There is some Suicide Squad talk, some Gattaca talk. and even some comics talk. Also, whiskey.
We kick off whiskey month with Glenlivet 12, which is a Scotch whiskey. Topics include Batman: The Killing Joke, Wayward Pines Season 2, Constantine, and other complaints also.
Harvey Wallbanger is what's on the menu this week, as is frustration as Adrian runs through Marvel's list of upcoming titles, while Jeigh tries to keep his head from banging into the table.
We kick off Vodka month this month with a Palm Beach Cocktail. Jeigh and Adrian find out that they a happened to watch the same movie this week, while Jeigh also watch some real duds. In comics, Jeigh and Adrian talk about Batman#2, and in TV, Adrian talks about his disappoint with the most recent episodes of Empire.
