We finally went back to our roots with rating under $20 bottles. This week we have Jim Beam Double Oak Bourbon which comes in around $17. A nice easy sipper at a heck of a price point. The bottle got a little bit of an update but can easily be found as the bottle is the same as the others but it has a nice navy blue label. Following our review we have our world famous "Whiskey Talk" where we try to decode the Gen Z lingo. We recently had a situation where we heard someone from Gen Z say something and had no idea what was said. As such, we thought, lets go through some of the most common Gen Z sayings and lingo. Episode #14: In this episode, the Big Boys talk with the Lead singer of Paperback Tragedy, Will West. Will has been in a band for 20+ years and is very big in the local punk rock scene in Baltimore, and obviously in Japan too. Our intro music was created by WIll and is probably the only thing good about our podcast. Listen as we talk with will about everything that we can as we sample some fine Jim Beam Double Oak. Episode 32: This episode we get together to do our sixth series on 30 bourbons under $30 series. We will sample 4 bourbons under $30 in a blind tasting. The four up this week are. Jim Beam Double Oak, David Nickolson Reserve, Evan Williams Single Barrel, and LongBranch. The winner will move on to the final round. These Bourbons are going to be the best of the under $30 category. We are just making it known and our opinion on what we think are those best bourbons for this price range. We are not saying that they are better than the high priced bourbons. We believe those do have some of the more depth and flavor than some of the cheap bourbons, but these are some of the best in their price range.
