Greetings and welcome to Ready or Not Prepares: the Podcast. This week Ready or Not Prepares asks the question: Are we actually in a recession? What do you think from your daily experience and observation, as opposed to what we are being told? A recession is technically defined as "a falling GDP based on or including the labor market, consumer and business spending, industrial production, and incomes data." In short, or at least my understanding of it is, a steady decline of the economy that impacts our lifestyle and how we spend for a consistent period of time. If there is a recession, what are you doing to prepare? Let's talk about it! Let's discuss OPEC. Who are they? What impact does their vote to increase the price of oil per barrel mean to you? Simply, oil prices are forecasted to jump to about $95 per barrel in the next few months and could go as high as $100 as we enter 2023. President Biden is upset and threatens consequences because of the vote to raise prices. Let's unpack some of these issues and can be put in place to prepare. Interestingly, there is but one narrative coming from mainstream media, many medical professionals and other entities as it relates to the COVID-19 injection. Are there any other options? There has been little or no discussion on the global development of alternative medications or treatments. On this episode, we discuss the question as to why this is and explore useful information on some of the latest alternatives. Also, the EUA, COVID-19 variants and a few suggested preparedness tips round out the conversation.
