Children have a responsibility to learn godly ways to live as Christians. Yet it is still up to the parents to help model a holy lifestyle for them to emulate.

Prayer, we say it all the time but how much do we do it? Do we understand the power in it? Do we see the blessing of a relationship with God? Do we know if its done properly it accomplishes much.

We all go through seasons in our lives. Some good some bad. Regardless sometimes its hard to let go of the season you are in and move on to the new one. Change is a key component to a Christian lifestyle. We must learn to let go, to grow.

Elijah had a stand off against the evil followers of Baal. Pray should be our go to in any situation. Prayer is powerful!

Parents should nurture their children in the ways of the Lord. Parents are to model a Christian lifestyle. From prayer to reading your Word and living that out before them.

Knowing we will stand before Jesus for everything we have ever done. What can we do to make sure when we see Him that He would be pleased. Having the mind of Christ is a very good start.

A continuation of this morning's message on teaching God and biblical views at home.

Parents should live by the Scriptures and communicate its truth to their family.

We are a living record. From the life we live around others. To that life lived brought up again before the King. We all need to live a life of holiness as much as we can to better serve Jesus.

This is a continuation of this morning Sunday school lesson. Ensuring we get it all. Learning to become better disciples for Christ.

Giving is hard to do sometimes. Whether it be our money, our time, or things as humans its hard to let go. Yet God gave His only Son, and Jesus gave us His everything. Shouldn't we do the same with whatever can?

Jesus prayed that we would be one with Him as He is one with the Father. As we pray that we be more like Him, likewise we should pray others do the same.

We will all go before Christ to be judged. We will all stand before the King and give account , weather it be good or bad.

As Christians we a called to tame our tongues. To not talk badly about people. We all need the Holy Spirits help to discipline our tongue.

The is a hope that can only be found in Jesus. A hope in God and His Word. Lets all share that hope with this world.

Jesus is our example of how be a servant. We need to learn from Him. Then serve those around us to the best of our abilities.

Longing to be in Gods presence should be in all our hearts. Seeking Him out and His will for our lives. Being hungry for the things of God more then the things in this world.

We should not compromise when it comes to the Word of God. God leads us in right directions, its up to us to follow. Compromise will take us off course and take us out of Gods will.

Jesus is the good shepherd and will lead us and provide for us. Remembering this will help us to see our lives through the filter of Christ and His Word.

We all deal with things that will rock us to the core. There's distractions and noise everywhere in this world. Jesus is always waiting for us to come to heal us, and use us for His Glory.

We must be perpaired. To be ready for Jesus to come at anytime, but be ready for whatever comes in our lives. That will take work on our end. To be perpaired and equipped for battle.

The story of the wise men beings with them seeing the light of a star above. Which lead the the Light of this world. We should all be looking for the Light.

Jesus was born to be the Savior of the world. Christmas should not be the only time we remember this.

Whatever, meaning everything. Whatever you do, do it for God, with God.

Jesus gave everything for us. Why would we not give everything for Him?

Jesus and His word gives life. Any and all needs we have can and will be met by the Lord. God knows whats best for us all, His ways are better then ours and His thoughts higher then ours. God will always provide.

How much does being saved mean to you?It should mean everything. Then why don't we share that gift of Jesus with every soul we see?

We all have an attitude whether it be good or bad. As Christians we all have a choice on what we're going to wear. Will we pick up and put on the garments of praise and rejoice in the Lord or will we let this world drag us down?

Jesus is our everything. Without Him, we are nothing. We should be forever grateful for His sacrifice for us all.

Worshiping the Lord should be a life style. Living our lives for Jesus every second of the day. Everywhere we go. There is so much joy to be had in a life where God is your source of everything.

Pleasing God should be of the utmost desires of our hearts. To make God happy should make us happy. Walking in the joy of the Lord.

Life changes quickly. We need to know we are living as God wants us to. Walking worthy of the calling He has placed on our lives.

We have so much to be thankful for. Take a look around, for we are blessed. And even if we have nothing, if we have Jesus we have it all.

We all should be following after Jesus. Living a godly life.

The enemy of us all the devil is trying to catch us in his spider webs.. So hes can steal, kill and destroy. Its up to us to stop him and fight back.

God called His church to be one. To be honest to one another. To love one another. To help one another all grow nearer to God. Lord help us be one in You.

To be a true disciple of Christ it takes a lot of work on our part. Jesus was quite upfront with what it would take from us to pay the cost to follow Him. But when we truly understand what we gain is, its a cost we should all be willing to pay.

In life we all have that moment when we can come to Christ. When God makes an opportunity to reach out in love for you to know Him.

Focus on the goal of getting to heaven and saving as many people as we can so they can go to heaven too. Of living a life for Christ so we may hear, "Welcome in my good and faithful servant.

Jesus says we are to be born again to enter the Kingdom of God. How do we truly do that? How do we really know that we are born again?

We are called to walk in Christ divine nature. For this reason we are to add to ourselves the things God says to. And when we do, the glory of God goes with us.

Christians follow Jesus by serving others with humility and love. Putting the needs of others above your own. Doing it all in the Love of Jesus.

We are called to make a joyful noise to the Lord! Worshiping God changes things! Worshipping in spirit and in truth is contagious. We should all worship more.

It's important to stay hooked in to God at all times. From going to church, to reading your word, to staying in prayer. We can't lose sight of the Father.

All we have is Gods. We as Christians should be quick to give. Whether its to the church or the poor. Or even giving our time. We should have a heart to let go of what God asks us to.

Our joy is found in Jesus, not dependent on our circumstances.

As Christians we all need the Holy Spirit to help us and guide us. We must sanctify ourselves so that we are a temple that allows the Holy Spirit to work through us for the kingdom of God.

When the disciples were with Jesus and the feeding of the 5000 they immediately were told to get on the boat and go across to the other side. Going right into a storm. Forgetting what just happened. We must always remember to keep our eyes and faith set on Jesus no matter what.

Sanctifying ourselves is one of the best ways to please God. To look within ourselves and see what we need to change. To serve the Lord better than we are now.

We could all learn lessons from what Samson went through. His strength and his weaknesses. What are our strengths and what are our weaknesses? Are we living to do God's will?
