This lecture provides an in-depth exploration of different categories of crimes recognized in criminal law. It defines a crime as any act or omission that violates a law and is punishable by the state, broadly categorized by the nature of harm, intent (mens rea), and severity of punishment.Crimes against the person involve harm to an individual's physical or psychological integrity and include homicide and assault and battery.Homicide is the killing of one person by another, with different types based on intent, planning, and circumstances.First-degree murder requires premeditation, deliberation, and malice aforethought. An example is meticulously planning a killing.Second-degree murder involves intent to kill without prior planning, often in the "heat of the moment".Voluntary manslaughter occurs in the heat of passion, such as killing a spouse upon discovering infidelity.Involuntary manslaughter is an unintentional death resulting from reckless or negligent behavior, like causing a fatal accident while texting and driving.Felony murder holds a perpetrator liable for murder if a death occurs during the commission of a dangerous felony, regardless of intent.Assault is an intentional act causing another person to reasonably fear imminent harmful or offensive contact [10]. Actual physical contact isn't required.Battery requires actual physical contact that is harmful or offensive. An example is punching someone in the face.Aggravated assault and battery occur when these crimes are committed with a deadly weapon or cause serious injury.Property crimes target another person's property and include robbery, burglary, larceny, arson, and vandalism.Robbery is the unlawful taking of property from another person through force, intimidation, or threats].Burglary involves unauthorized entry into a building with the intent to commit a crime, most commonly theft.Larceny, or theft, is the unlawful taking of property without force or intimidation.Arson is the intentional act of setting fire to property.Vandalism is the willful destruction or defacement of property].Inchoate crimes involve actions aimed at committing a crime, even if the intended crime is not completed, including attempt, solicitation, and conspiracy.Attempt occurs when an individual takes substantial steps toward committing a crime but does not complete it.Solicitation involves encouraging, requesting, or commanding another person to commit a crime.Conspiracy is an agreement between two or more individuals to commit a criminal act, with at least one conspirator taking an overt step toward carrying out the plan.White-collar crimes are non-violent offenses, typically committed for financial gain, and include fraud, embezzlement, and insider trading.Fraud involves deliberate deception to secure an unfair or unlawful gain.Embezzlement occurs when a person entrusted with managing property or funds diverts them for personal use.Insider trading is the use of non-public, material information to gain an unfair advantage in stock trading.Drug-related crimes involve the possession, distribution, manufacturing, or trafficking of controlled substances.Sex crimes encompass a range of offenses involving illegal or non-consensual sexual conduct.Rape is generally defined as non-consensual sexual intercourse committed through force, coercion, or when the victim is unable to give consent.Sexual assault is a broader term that includes any unwanted sexual contact without explicit consent.Prostitution-related offenses include solicitation, procurement, or operating a brothel.Cyber crimes are illegal activities committed through digital means and include identity theft, hacking, and online fraud.Identity theft involves the unauthorized acquisition and use of someone else's personal information to commit fraud.Hacking is the unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or data.Online fraud includes scams, phishing schemes, and other fraudulent activities conduct

In Genesis 20:1-18 Abraham sins in the same way he did in chapter 12. Rather than protect his wife, he lies by calling her his sister, which leads to her being taken by Abimelech to become his wife. This sin is all the worse because Sarah is about to give birth to Isaac, the promised seed. Abraham's actions, therefore, appear to jeopardize the promises of God. God, however, is merciful to Abraham and, as He did in Egypt, defends Sarah even when Abraham fails. All of this shows that God will always keep His promises. Isaac will be born as promised.

Send us a textIn this jam-packed episode of "2 Giants Goofballs: New York Giants News & Updates," Drew and Rob dive into the latest developments surrounding the Giants following a disappointing 34-7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16. Injuries continue to plague the team as QB Drew Lock undergoes an MRI on his throwing shoulder, while LB Micah McFadden deals with a stinger. Aggravated injuries for RB Tyrone Tracy and C John Michael Schmitz add to the Giants' woes. Coach Brian Daboll updates fans on their status, leaving uncertainty about their availability for the final weeks of the season. Amid the challenges, Andrew Thomas provides a glimmer of hope for the future. Speaking to the New York Post, Thomas emphasized optimism, highlighting the potential of the team's young core and the need for continuity along the offensive line. While sidelined by injury himself, Thomas's comments serve as a reminder of the Giants' potential if they can maintain health and cohesion moving forward. One unexpected highlight comes from former Giants QB Daniel Jones. Despite being released by the team and now on the Vikings' practice squad, Jones showcased his character by sending a classy gift to his former offensive linemen. Each received a limited edition bottle of Clase Azul tequila, a gesture reflecting his appreciation for their efforts during his time with the team. Jones may be remembered for struggles on the field, but this move cements his reputation as a class act off it. The episode also unpacks a curious moment from the Falcons game, where Assistant GM Brandon Brown was spotted on the sideline, engaging with QBs Tommy DeVito and Tim Boyle. Daboll explained the situation, claiming it was due to logistical reasons during road games, but the unusual sight raised eyebrows and fueled speculation. Drew and Rob question why the Giants haven't experimented with moving Evan Neal to guard, a position that might better suit his skill set given the challenges he's faced at tackle. With little to lose at this point in the season, this remains a puzzling decision. The episode wraps with a recap of Week 16 NFL action, including thrilling games like the Eagles' narrow loss to the Commanders and the Lions' dominant win over the Bears. The upcoming Christmas slate is previewed, with matchups like Chiefs vs. Steelers and Ravens vs. Texans offering fans a holiday treat. This episode delivers a comprehensive look at Giants news NFL, Giants news and rumors, and Giants football news, while offering insights into the team's struggles and glimmers of hope for the future. Public concern over crime in Oregon has intensified, with a significant majority of residents expressing dissatisfaction with local government responses. A May 2024 poll revealed that 78% of Portland-area voters disapprove of how local authorities are handling crime, reflecting widespread unease across various demographics. This sentiment is further underscored by a December 2023 survey, where 74% of respondents expressed worry about becoming crime victims, and 90% were dissatisfied with public safety. These concerns are substantiated by recent crime statistics. Between 2019 and 2023, Oregon experienced a 10% increase in violent crime, contrasting with a 4% national decline. Notably, the state's murder rate surged by 53%, more than double the national increase of 22%. Aggravated assaults rose by 23% in Oregon, surpassing the national uptick of 10%. While property crimes in Oregon decreased by 11%, this reduction lags behind the national decline of 23%. Motor vehicle thefts in the state escalated by 28%, outpacing the national rise of 15%. You can read our full report on the issue here. Host and Chairman Earl Wright welcomes Mark McMullen, Vice President of Research and Policy for CSI Oregon, and Max Williams, former State Representative, former Director of Oregon Department of Corrections, and Past President and Senior Advisor of the Oregon Community Foundation to discuss the report, its findings, recommendations for a path forward and much more. The hīkoi we were discussing last week has gone down the country through the weekend, rolls into Wellington City, and should arrive at Parliament around midday. Police say they don't expect any problems, certainly nothing like the descent into chaos we saw at the end of the last demonstration at Parliament. We'll see. So far, it seems hīkoi participants have abided by the organisers' requests. There's all sorts of rules and regulations before you can join the hīkoi, and participants are following them thus far, adhering to the principles of peaceful protest. The police have been working with the organisers, and they told Mike Hosking this morning: so far so good. It does mean, of course, that a lot of police will be tied up at the hīkoi, and if they're there they're not out investigating crime. And they need to be nabbing criminals and hauling them before court and engaging in crime prevention if police Minister Mark Mitchell is to keep his job. Back in August of 2023, Mark Mitchell told us that if New Zealanders hadn't started to see a change in public safety within a year of his appointment as Police Minister he would resign – so how's he doing? Well, ram raids are down 61%. Foot patrols are up 30%, so that's got to be good news - a visible police presence does an awful lot to help prevent crime. Aggravated robbery is down 11%. Robbery, extortion and the like are down 6%. Serious assaults are down 3%. However, counting against him, common assaults didn't go down, and theft had increased 12%. So how does he think he's doing? “I just thought it was coming up 12 months and it was important for me, I did that to hold myself to account because we were in such a bad place as a country that the expectation is that whoever took over as Police Minister, it's a huge responsibility, you've got to show that your things are changing. Otherwise, I wasn't the right guy for the job or the right person for the job. So we are starting to see change. “Like I said, we've got a long way to go, but we're starting to see some trends moving in the right direction. And I want to say that's not attributable to me. I mean it's, it's the fact that, yes, I've got the, the privileged position of Minister so I can bring everyone together ... the Auckland CBD is a good example. We brought the Residence and Ratepayers groups together, the business associations, our social service providers, Māori Wardens, CPNZ, KO, MSD, police, St. John's, we've all come together, we've been aligned. I had my latest meeting on Friday and we're seeing real success. So I've been going around the country trying to pull that together and trying to get some real change and it's happening.” So how do you think he's doing? You know, just based on your community, your neighbourhood, your retail area, how do you think the Police Minister is doing? I think the stats speak for themselves. Of course, as he also said in the interview with Mike, you're never going to get rid of crime altogether. There is never going to be a day where the police wake up and log no crime, ever. That's just not the way human beings are. But in terms of your community, your neighbourhood, your shopping precinct, do you feel safer? I mean, certainly I no longer have a low-level sense of alert when I'm going into a mall and walking past a Michael Hill Jewellers store. You know, there had been so many and a number in our area had been hit, so when I was taking the kids to the mall – I wouldn't say I was fearful. I certainly didn't stop going. I wasn't fearful, but I was on alert. Anything that looked a little bit out of the ordinary and I was going to get out of there with those children before hell broke loose. So, I'm more relaxed I think. There isn't the posturing and the advertising and the visibility of gangs in my hood. A few red sneakers, but hey, they might just like the colour. There aren't the same sort of video footage from doorbells and street cameras of families taking little ones out to go robbing in the early hours of the morning. I haven't seen that being posted for quite some time. So yeah, I feel as though things are getting better and the stats would seem to indicate they are. Is that because a line has been drawn in the sand? Is that because the focus of the police has shifted slightly? I would certainly say the foot patrols would have helped. Is it an indication from police and indeed from the community? It was voters who said up with this we will not put. We could have gone one way, we went this way when it came to the polling booths. We don't want to see any more softly, softly. We would like to see a line in the sand when it comes to crime. There's a lot more to do. There's a lot more work to do around addictions, there's a lot more work to do around mental health because a lot of those are precursors to crime. Kingdom Hall TribunalIn 8 parts, based on the works of Bardot1990. Listen to the ► Podcast at ExplicitNovels.Eldon Kittridge gathered his family that Thursday night to attend a Ministry School meeting at his local Kingdom Hall. During that meeting, various members of the congregation prepared and delivered sermons based upon the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society’s interpretation of scripture. Male members stood at the podium unassisted to expound upon Watchtower doctrine. Younger males were groomed by reading directly from the Bible. More experienced males used intricate and often complicated logical stretches to drive their points home. Jehovah’s witnesses practice a rationalistic religion.Female members did not address the congregation standing at the podium. Rather, two or more females took the stage to demonstrate various persuasion techniques. One female would pretend to be a random homeowner in the field. The other female would demonstrate how to explain JW eschatology and or, how to handle various doctrinal objections.Men always ran the meetings. These men were called ‘elders’. Typically, they were the more experienced Christians in the group, it being their job to 'shepherd the flock’. These men strove to set a fine moral and spiritual example for the congregants. Too, they were tasked with keeping the congregation clean of sin.Eldon Kittridge was an elder. On this particular Thursday, Eldon was in charge of the Service Meeting. He gave a fifteen-minute talk. He also was in charge of introducing the other speakers. Typically, these consisted of other elders and deacons working their way up through the church hierarchy. As a young man, before his ex-communication James was a critical cog in this hierarchy. He had congregational privileges that included giving talks, passing microphones around during Bible discussions and proselytizing.James’ sudden ex-communication stained his family’s reputation in the congregation. Whereas, at one time the Kittridge family was held as a model of Christian values, now the family harbored an unrepentant sinner.Eldon Kittridge was torn about this loss of face. Eldon did not grow up in 'the Truth’. He was a convert. Eldon’s wife Abby grew up as one of Jehovah’s witnesses, but left the fellowship just months before meeting Eldon. Both of them were now fervent adherents to the faith. James’ sin was a slap in the face. Technically, he was a grown man now, even though he was still a high school student. Eldon Kittridge could set a fine congregational example by emancipating James. This would be viewed by the congregation as appropriate discipline, and necessary to bring James back into the fold. James knew that he was being considered for emancipation, a nice way of saying he might get kicked out of the house.James did not attend Kingdom Hall that night. Fanny did. She sat through the meeting in moral horror, knowing that she, too, existed in the midst of great mortal sin. Fanny bore the weight of guilt, believing that her brother were incestuously fornicating. It was a case so shocking that, even as a participant, Fanny was taken aback. The siblings had not been intimate since the prior Sunday, which left Fanny both hurt and perplexed. She’d tried everything to bring James back to his penile worship between her thighs. Nothing seemed to work. As the meeting droned on and on, Fanny shuffled in her seat. Her panties were wet. She was ashamed of her wetness in this holy place.Fanny looked over at her mother Abby. Abby Kittridge locked onto each speaker with a laser-like focus. Every word spoken from the podium came straight from Jehovah’s organization and, as such, was worthy of her strict attention. Abby Kittridge was as hardcore a disciple as there was. If the Society said it, she believed it, and that settled it. Periodic changes in their doctrinal stance didn’t bother her; New Light was God’s method of advancing truth. Old Light was God’s method of weeding out malingerers.Abby Kittridge was no malingerer. The meeting adjourned around nine thirty p.m. Various families got up to socialize. Absences were noted and asked after.(No one asked about James. He was dis-fellowshipped.)Of the fellowshipped, the time taken to renew the bonds of family and friendship is often noted as the best thing about Jehovah’s witnesses. Eldon Kittridge and the other elders made it their business to connect with as many congregants as possible. On the ride home Abby and Eldon interrogated their children about major points of the meeting. Abby made sure that her children were properly indoctrinated. Each meeting, to Abby, was a spiritual feast of information, none of which could be wasted or taken for granted. If the truth is told, just as Fanny’s panties were wet with lust for her brother during the meeting, Abby’s panties were wet with spiritual lust afterward. There were no Thursday night meetings where Abby’s middle-aged libido did not require her husband’s attention. She and Eldon exercised their marital due on each such occasion.Upon arriving home, the Kittridge parents asked after the younger children’s homework, though homework was a secondary consideration to meeting attendance. Fanny and James could and should have completed their homework on a non-meeting night. Neither of their parents could have helped much. The youngsters bathed and dressed for bed. Fanny cleaned the kitchen. Eldon Kittridge checked James’ room and found him languidly searching the Internet.“Brother Morgan gave a fine talk tonight. You should have been there,” he said.Bob Morgan was a close friend of James’, that is, until James 'left the Truth’. They hadn’t spoken since. Eldon Kittridge’s comment constituted a reproach. James nodded his head in acknowledgement.By eleven p.m. the younger Kittridge children were in bed. Abby Kittridge checked her refrigerator for breakfast supplies. Eldon checked to see that all the doors were locked. Fanny retreated to her downstairs bedroom. The family’s natural Thursday rhythms were intact.Eldon Kittridge climbed the stairs to his second floor bedroom. He closed the bedroom door behind him, turned, and found his wife standing there in her see-thru negligee. At the age of forty-seven, Abigail Kittridge was still fine. Four children had exited her womb; Abby retained a goodly number of her youthful assets. Her breasts stood nicely. Yes, she was a little thicker around her mid-section and some side bacon, but she could still look down between her tits and see her pubic mound. Her skin was a nice shade of cocoa. Her waist dimpled nicely before spreading into a dowager black woman’s ass. There was no sag in her cheeks or chin, nor was there any cottage cheese pitting in her behind. She stood in the midst of her bedroom, almost naked, posing for her husband. They fucked every Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday without fail, and had done so for the past twenty-three years.Eldon Kittridge had seen this woman fully naked on thousands of occasions. The vision of her cunt no longer aroused him. He still looked forward to fucking her. Abby crawled into bed while Eldon doffed his clothing. Her negligee remained in place; she preferred to have him take it off her.In bed together, they did not kiss or fondle. They were far past these pedestrian pursuits. Instead, they lay side-by-side, each using one hand to masturbate the other. Abby jacked Eldon erect; Eldon fingered Abby wet. Neither option took very long. With his phallus only partially turgid, Eldon mounted his wife in missionary. She directed his pliable phallus into her port. Starting slowly, Eldon’s phallus firmed up as they went. Abby always looked forward to this initial stiffening. Once they got started, Eldon was very longwinded. He regularly fucked her through any number of orgasms. Abby wasn’t shy about expressing herself sexually. When she really got going, she would often slip and verbalize vulgar expletives of joy.Missionary sex comprised the bulk of their repertoire. Eldon licked Abby’s tits and cunt from time to time. Abby never sucked his dick. Nor was anal sex an option. They followed the unspoken rules of Christian sexual behavior. What Would Jesus Do? Abby’s devolution into scatology while cumming was as far as they delved into freakiness. Once, she’d even uttered the phrase “Fuck me!” Eldon chastened her immediately. That type of talk smacked of the world.Tonight, Eldon’s uncircumcised phallus lengthened as it hardened. Abby always looked forward to this phenomenon. He started out at one thickness, improving under the impetus of her cunt until he was exponentially thicker. Abby began to groan in conjunction with his endless thrusts.“Oh! Oh! Oh! Ah! Uh! Oh! Shit!”Her groans amplified in intensity and loudness as Eldon worked himself into a lather. He knew the clasp and the slide of his wife’s Cunt well. He knew that it worked best after a spiritual reckoning at the Kingdom Hall. This was “old” cunt. Eldon was never in danger of capitulating before her wiles. Rather, he counted her orgasms, actively seeking amplification, and ready to inseminate her at any moment on his own terms. For years after the birth of their last child, Abby Kittridge relied upon birth control. But she’d abandoned those artificial methods of late, even though she was still capable of pregnancy.Tonight, Eldon's strident thrusting tippled her sensual triggers early on. She climaxed loudly twice. Abby Kittridge was climbing Jacob’s Ladder to a third orgasm when she sensed an anomaly in the Force. There was a low, thumping noise, almost imperceptible, driving in the background. At first she thought it was the sound of her headboard bouncing against the wall. She slowed her pelvic gyrations. The sound persisted abnormally before quieting.Abby and Eldon went back to work. Gradually, the low, thumping hum returned, continuing until just after Abby and Eldon quieted again. She looked at her husband. He’d heard the sound, too. Parents have antennae for unnatural, late night sounds in their home. Inasmuch as the sound died out, Eldon continued the task at hand, that is, stroking a hot piece of cunt.On five separate occasions the low, thumping sound came, out of rhythm with the couple’s efforts. Each time they sought to identify it, the sound disappeared. Finally, Eldon withdrew his phallus from its place of honor. He threw on his bathrobe and stepped to his bedroom door, intending to seek the source of the sound. Slowly, he turned the doorknob and stepped into the hallway. Pausing, he heard nothing. He waited. The house was silent.Eldon retreated to his bedroom. He stepped of his bathrobe. Abby would see that his tumescence remained. He mounted her again, but before they could pick up where they left off, the low, thumping sound returned.Aggravated, Eldon clambered from the bed and eased back out into the hall. Nothing. This time he waited, suspecting he knew the source. James was masturbating in bed.Normally, a father with an eighteen-year old son concedes that his boy masturbates. All boys do it. Eldon himself had been a ruthless masturbator as a teen.As an elder, however, Eldon Kittridge had to consider the spiritual cleanliness of his home. James, already disfellowshipped for sexual immorality, was on thin ice anyway. Eldon put his ear to James’ bedroom door. Initially, he heard nothing. Slowly the thumping noise returned.Eldon turned the knob slowly so as not to be detected. James’ door was locked. The room had one of those Spam key locks. Eldon reached up to get the key from the doorframe. Even more slowly than before, Eldon unlocked the door. He hoped to catch his son in the act, embarrass him and add this incident as another straw for the camel’s back.Bursting suddenly into James’ room, Eldon was astounded to find his daughter Fanny, ass naked, mounted atop his son James. They were fornicating.Eldon’s sudden entrance caused the naked siblings to explode in an effort to dive under the covers. This effort was largely wasted. Grown people know sexual activity when they see it. Eldon was shocked speechless. He didn’t need a second look This was not masturbation. This was sin, the likes of which he’d never considered possible.Fanny burst into tears.Abby Kittridge now joined Eldon Kittridge standing shocked in James Kittridge’s doorway. Fanny’s tears became an outright wail. She and James were cold busted.James and Fanny Got Busted.Eldon Kittridge took his wife into his arms. She was distraught. Slowly, the two of them stepped away from James’ doorway, closing the door behind them. Eldon suppressed the urge to kill both his eldest children. Instead, he deterred Abby’s urge to do the same. They waited.Fanny burst from James’ bedroom, fully clothed now. She raced past her parents down the stairs, intending to hide in her room.“Hold it, young lady,” came Eldon’s stentorian voice.Fanny expected this. She paused at the foot of the stairs without turning to face her parents. The family was in a moment of crisis. Hiding in her room was not going to erase her sin.James didn’t wait to be called. He trudged to his doorway in his underwear, knowing that recriminations and consequences (all bad) were imminent.Eldon led his wife and the incestuous James downstairs to the dining room table with a heavy heart. Abby Kittridge’s measured breathing bespoke her rage. Fanny continued to cry. James just looked downward, unable to brook his parent’s gaze.“How long has this been going on?” Eldon Kittridge demanded. It was not a question. It was an accusation.Fanny began to gag. James didn’t reply.“How long has this been going on!” Eldon Kittridge reiterated brusquely.“A week or two,” James mumbled.Several issues were in play here. Firstly, the Kittridges now harbored two sinners, not just one, in their home. Of these, one was newly initiated into the genre. Fanny was still a golden member of the congregation, entitled to a hearing in lieu of her statement of repentance and, it must be said, the presumption of innocence. The other sinner had proven that he was not on the path to restoration. Worse, he’d inveigled a formerly pristine member of their family into his nefarious web of sexual filth. It was this last sin that put James most at risk. By Jehovah’s witness doctrine, Fanny could still be redeemed. James, already dis-fellowshipped, stood in need of further, harsher discipline.“Fanny, you’re aware of the scriptural prohibition against pre-marital sex. And yet you committed this act anyway. Can you tell us how this happened?” Eldon sternly inquired.Eldon Kittridge was not in dad mode now. In dad mode he might want to physically attack the man who’d imperiled his daughter’s hopes for eternal life in God’s New System of things. (Jehovah’s witnesses believe in a future paradise on Earth under a heavenly government). Eldon might want to curse and fight. Eldon was operating in elder mode now. By that standard he had to view the situation dispassionately. Fanny would have to be brought up before a council of elders. James was entirely Eldon’s problem.Fanny could not answer her father. She existed in terror and shame. Her Cunt’s trenchant needs had led her astray.Eldon Kittridge quickly realized that he would get nothing from his daughter that night. She was incapable of dealing with her mortal sin in the moment. He’d known immediately what needed to be done with James.“Fanny, go get in the bed. We’ll deal with you tomorrow,” he announced.Fanny bolted the table, disappearing down the hall, into her room.Eldon and Abby Kittridge stayed behind with James. Eldon allowed an uncomfortable silence to settle over the proceedings. He had something to say, something that all of them knew was coming.“James. You’re a grown man now. We have stood by you even though other members of the congregation have advised us otherwise. We have fed and clothed you. We’ve put a roof over your head. And this is how you’ve repaid us? By bringing your; your Filth into your own family? It’s one thing to fornicate with worldly girls. You’ve brought this disease into My home! You’ve inveigled your own sister into mortal sin! She may get dis-fellowshipped because of you! Who’s next? Little Jill; or Jayce?Eldon Kittridge allowed his rage to build and double."James, I cannot allow this to continue. You will have to leave my home. You will have to find your own way in the world that you have chosen. Do you understand me?”James understood. He’d expected this. He didn’t expect what came next.“Gather your things. It’s time for you to leave.”James was taken aback.“Now?” he asked incredulously.“Yes. Now.”It was one o'clock in the morning.“Where am I supposed to go at this hour?”“That’s your problem, James. Don’t let the sunrise find you here. I’ll throw your things into the street.”“Dad! I;”“Don’t 'Dad’ me. You’ve betrayed me as a man. You’ve soiled my daughter. I cannot have you here. It’s all I can do to refrain from whipping your ass. GO!”James’ Dilemma.Tony Gilbert hadn’t had a decent piece of cunt in several days. His last sexual encounter (with long-time girlfriend Margaret Cameron) consisted of more-of-the-same. Of late their sex had become marital, that is, on schedule and without variety. Tony was well acquainted with Margaret’s primary sexual orifices by now. Both of those holes soaked in gallons of his seed.Like his friends, Tony had some cunt on the side, indeed, at one point Margaret had been a member of Tony’s other-snatch harem. Now, as his regular girlfriend, Tony took every opportunity to step out on her. In this wise he was little different than his contemporaries. Tony’s seraglio consisted of Margaret, Chiya Sakai, Rosanne Peraino, Donna Dennison and GeorgeAnn Vachetto. Occasionally, Tony hooked up with Dana Chandler and Jonna Kindler, though these latter trysts tended to be few and far between. Both those girls had seraglios of their own.Margaret knew Tony was cheating. She did her best to drain him, leaving him without the time and/or energy for othersnatch. At the same time, Margaret tended to her duties as a part of Delphia’s crew. She fucked other boys at Delphia’s behest. Margaret didn’t consider this behavior to be “cheating”. To her, this behavior was merely paying dues for membership in the club.On the Thursday in question, Margaret, Chiya and Delphia triple-teamed Kurt Kuhlmann in the school auditorium. Delphia bet both her friends that they couldn’t make Kurt cum. She offered a twenty to the girl that managed it. None of them did.Delphia assured her two friends that she would successfully take Kurt away from his girlfriend Denise. She bet a twenty on that, too. Margaret didn’t say anything, but she doubted it. She’d seen Kurt and D

Welcome to Supreme Court Opinions. In this episode, you'll hear the Court's opinion in Dubin v United States. In this case, the court considered this issue: Does a person commit aggravated identity theft any time they mention or otherwise recite someone else's name while committing a predicate offense? The case was decided on June 8, 2023. The Supreme Court held that A person commits “aggravated identity theft,” if he “uses” another person's means of identification “in relation to” a predicate offense when the use is at the crux of—rather than merely peripheral to—what makes the conduct criminal. Justice Sonia Sotomayor authored the majority opinion of the Court. The meaning of each of the two key phrases—”uses” and “in relation to”—depends heavily on context. First, the very title of Section 1028A(a)(1), “Aggravated identity theft,” suggests that identity theft is at the core of that provision, particularly in contrast to a neighboring provision with a much broader title and scope. The language of 1028A(a)(1) further supports this reading. The provision applies when a defendant “knowingly transfers, possesses, or uses” another's identification without lawful authority. From this context, it is clear that “uses” refers to conduct akin to theft, rather than its broader meaning of “virtually any function.” Finally, the list of predicate offenses suggests that the means of identification is at the crux of the underlying criminality, not just a peripheral feature. Justice Neil Gorsuch authored an opinion concurring in the judgment in which he argues that the statute is too vague and the majority's opinion does little to clarify its meaning. The opinion is presented here in its entirety, but with citations omitted. If you appreciate this episode, please subscribe. In a dramatic turn of events, Mary Carbone, a 60-year-old woman from Manchester, pleaded guilty on Monday to aggravated manslaughter in the 2020 death of her roommate and occasional lover, Frank Sochel. Originally facing a murder charge, Carbone accepted a plea bargain that guaranteed her a 10-year prison term, significantly less than the minimum for murder. The case, which was set to go to trial next week, saw Carbone abandon her defense of battered woman's syndrome. Tearfully addressing the court, she acknowledged the events leading to Sochel's death, stating, "It still happened, but, yes." According to court proceedings, the relationship between Carbone and Sochel had deteriorated into one marked by domestic violence, prompting numerous calls to the Manchester police. On the night of February 23, 2020, a heated altercation escalated in their Sixth Avenue home, during which Carbone used household items including a shower curtain rod and tape dispenser as weapons against Sochel. Despite causing severe injuries, Carbone did not seek medical assistance for Sochel, who was later discovered unconscious by a health officer conducting a welfare check the following day. The crime scene revealed signs of a violent struggle, with bloodstains and the presence of weapons identified as having been used in the attack. During Monday's plea hearing, Mary Carbone affirmed under questioning from her attorney, Paul Zager, that she had shared a residence on Sixth Avenue in Manchester with Frank Sochel, initially as her landlord and, as Zager described it, "in the beginning, a friend with benefits." Carbone also admitted that their relationship deteriorated into one marred by domestic violence, prompting her to make 58 calls to the Manchester police over nine months, some concerning incidents of domestic abuse. Continuing her testimony, Carbone acknowledged the events of February 23, 2020, when Sochel allegedly entered her bedroom uninvited, breaking down the door and causing a confrontation that Zager characterized as "a heated altercation." She conceded to using household items, including a shower curtain rod and tape dispenser, as weapons during the ensuing fight with Sochel. When pressed by Zager about Sochel's state during the altercation, Carbone initially claimed she thought he had passed out due to drinking. When asked if she had called emergency services upon realizing his condition, Carbone stated she lacked a phone and didn't seek aid from neighbors due to her inability to transport him to a hospital. Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Meghan O'Neill then questioned Carbone directly, to which she admitted inflicting injuries on Sochel with various household objects. When asked directly if she had killed Frank Sochel, Carbone responded affirmatively, marking a pivotal moment in the plea hearing. The plea agreement, which includes the possibility of parole after serving 85% of her sentence, was reached after expert evaluations related to Carbone's mental state and claims of self-defense were considered. Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer expressed that the decision reflected a careful assessment of the case's complexities and input from Sochel's family. Mary Carbone's sentencing is scheduled for September 13, where the judge will determine the final terms of her imprisonment. Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? Tracy Ferriter, accused of aggravated child abuse for allegedly locking an adopted child in an 8x8 structure in the garage of her Jupiter home, is set to go to trial on July 12, 2024. Circuit Judge Howard Coates granted the new trial date following a request from Ferriter's defense attorney, Marc Shiner, who returned to the case after withdrawing in December. During a status hearing on Tuesday, Shiner informed the court that he had reviewed the case's discovery materials and needed additional time to prepare for Ferriter's defense. “We want to avoid any potential appellate and due process issues,” Shiner stated. Despite objections from state prosecutors, Judge Coates agreed to the July trial date, emphasizing the importance of a thorough preparation. Tracy Ferriter faces serious charges of aggravated child abuse, false imprisonment, and child neglect. Her husband, Timothy Ferriter, was convicted of the same charges in October and sentenced to five years in prison. The Ferriters were arrested in February 2022 after Jupiter police discovered that they had allegedly confined one of their four children for extended periods in a locked structure within their home's garage in Egret Landing, a residential neighborhood. The confined child, whose identity is protected, testified at Timothy Ferriter's trial, describing the experience as “dehumanizing.” The structure, which could only be unlocked from the outside, was equipped with a bucket for the child's toilet needs. The Ferriters claimed they were struggling to manage the child's behavioral issues, which included attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and reactive attachment disorder. The Ferriters' defense argued that these behavioral conditions, which can make it challenging for children to form bonds and accept love, contributed to their actions. “The teen's long-standing behavioral issues made it difficult for the Ferriters to cope,” stated defense attorneys during Timothy's trial. Since her husband's conviction, Tracy Ferriter has been living with a family friend in Palm Beach Gardens. The couple sold their Egret Landing home in March 2023 for $760,000, approximately $50,000 more than their purchase price in December 2021. Timothy Ferriter is currently seeking release on bond while he appeals his conviction. He appeared before Judge Coates on January 11, but a decision regarding his release has not yet been made. “We will provide a written ruling at a later date,” Coates said. As Tracy Ferriter's trial approaches, both the defense and prosecution prepare to revisit the troubling allegations. The case has drawn significant attention due to the severity of the charges and the detailed accounts of the child's confinement. The July trial will further explore the complexities of the Ferriters' defense and the impact of the child's behavioral issues on the case. Tracy Ferriter's upcoming trial will be a critical moment in addressing these serious allegations and determining the legal outcomes for her actions. The legal proceedings underscore the importance of thorough preparation and the need for careful consideration of all aspects involved in child abuse cases. Ruby Franke, the former host of the popular YouTube channel "8 Passengers," was sentenced to up to 60 years in prison for aggravated child abuse on Tuesday. The sentencing came as a result of Franke's plea deal, in which she admitted to four counts of child abuse, each carrying a sentence of one to 15 years, to be served consecutively. During the sentencing, Franke broke down in tears, expressing her willingness to serve the prison term. "I am humbled and willing to serve a prison sentence for as long as I need," Franke, 42, told the judge. She also apologized for distorting religious doctrine, stating, "I am committed to unlearning my toxic behavior." Franke's former business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, received the same sentence. Both women had pleaded guilty in December 2023 to charges of aggravated child abuse, with Franke admitting to torturing her children by methods such as holding their heads underwater and starving them. "I sincerely loved these children," Hildebrandt said in response to the judge's decision. "One of the reasons I didn't go to trial is I didn't want them to relive this." The pair's arrest in late August stemmed from allegations of aggravated child abuse against Franke's children. Among the disturbing acts described in legal documents was Franke's binding of one of her sons with handcuffs and rope, suspending his arms and lower legs off the ground. Franke's family members, including her sister-in-law Cynthia Franke, had expressed their desire for justice. Cynthia Franke had stated, "I don't think she should get out on bail. I do believe the allegations against her." Behind the scenes of their public persona on "8 Passengers," Ruby and her husband Kevin's marriage began to crumble. They turned to Hildebrandt's therapy group, ConneXions, for assistance, ultimately leading to their separation. Kevin, who was not charged with any crimes related to the child abuse, demanded Hildebrandt be financially responsible for his children's healthcare costs. The sentencing marks a tragic turn for the former YouTube personality, whose rise to fame was marked by family vlogs documenting the lives of her and Kevin with their six children. Now, as Franke faces the consequences of her actions, the future remains uncertain for her family and the victims of her abuse. Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? A Florida deputy, identified as Tristan Chattic, faces charges of aggravated child abuse following a distressing incident involving his 13-year-old daughter's use of a tablet for homework assistance. The alleged assault occurred on Wednesday, prompting an immediate response from authorities and sparking concerns about domestic violence within law enforcement ranks. According to the Volusia Sheriff's Office arrest affidavit, the incident unfolded when Chattic's daughter was using a tablet for her homework. She employed the device's Alexa feature to answer a question related to her studies, which seemingly triggered an explosive reaction from her father. As detailed in the affidavit, Tristan Chattic allegedly unplugged the tablet in anger after his daughter used Alexa, setting off a chain of events that escalated dramatically. Eyewitness accounts suggest that he became extremely agitated, leading to a series of violent actions against his own child: - Yelling at her - Slapping her in the face - Grabbing her hair - Choking her - Pushing her off her chair, causing her to hit her head on the floor - Stepping on her back and hitting her with a belt while she was pinned down Chattic's wife, who was present during the incident, corroborated these distressing details to law enforcement. She expressed concerns about her daughter's well-being and the recent volatility of her husband's behavior, emphasizing that while he had not previously been physically abusive, he exhibited significant mental and emotional abuse. Following the incident, deputies learned that the Chattic residence had an internal video camera, although it did not record footage of the altercation. Due to the suspicious circumstances and the severity of the allegations, Tristan Chattic was taken into custody on Wednesday and subsequently released on Thursday after posting a $5,000 bond. In response to the charges, the Orange County Sheriff's Office took immediate action, relieving Chattic of his duties without pay as the criminal case unfolds. Chattic, 39, had been employed by the OCSO since February 2015. Orange County Sheriff John Mina addressed the situation, stating, "These are extremely serious criminal allegations. At the Orange County Sheriff's Office, we hold our deputies to the highest ethical standards whether they are on duty or off duty. I have a zero-tolerance policy toward child abuse — or any form of domestic violence. These allegations will be thoroughly investigated, and the results of that investigation will be made public." Tristan Chattic is scheduled for an arraignment on February 29 in Volusia County Circuit Court, where further legal proceedings will take place. Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE?
