    How many of you have a business fam? Or are starting one? If either of those questions apply to you I’m going to drop a bomb here for you.   What do you think are the main problems business owners and entrepreneurs struggle with?   Hint: It’s not something that comes to mind right away. It’s often those little things that you overlook until they become a big problem.   I know for a fact that I struggled with focus for a long time, I jumped from one thing to another and never really focused on only one. Don’t waste your time on starting 5 businesses at the same time if you won’t be able to manage them. Even if it’s just a single business, you need to focus on your specific audience and potential customers. Don’t try to expand too fast or it will come back to bite you.   And speaking of time I really recommend you work on building your team. A single person can only do so much. You can’t work on getting clients, making content, delivering for your clients, do your finances, etc. by yourself. Find somebody that specializes in the things you need.   Do you need to run ads? Instead of trying to learn them from scratch and doing everything else at the same time hire a specialist. You as the CEO need to focus on setting a direction and making sure everything works as intended, you can manage your team but let them do their thing while you do yours.   I don’t want you to waste your time fam.     I tell you to use social media for your business a lot, and some of you have asked me how to actually grow your social media. Don’t worry, I got you fam!    We all know that content is king, if you don’t have content it’s the same as not having social media. However having bad content is actually worse than having no content at all! The algorithm sees your stats, it shows people the content and if your content is bad the algorithm will stop showing your content.   The key here is to use the algorithm in your favor. Since the algorithm wants to show content that people want to see then you need to understand what that content is and make similar content so you grab people’s attention.   This is where your #1 tool comes in. It’s market research!   Study the content that people like and model it. If it works for others it will work for you, find what makes a certain post funny/impactful/etc. If you understand why people loved it you can make your own content based on those principles and people will like and share your content as well.   But I want to give you a freebie on top of what you can do, so let’s just jump into the #1 tool that Facebook itself gave us. Just think about it for a moment, the best tool on instagram for driving sales to your business is also one I see a lot of people don’t really take advantage of.     If you think about social media for business, which one do you think is the most powerful you can use? If you have been following for a while and predict I’m going to say Instagram you are 100% correct. But hold on, I’m not being biased here, there’s a good reason for me to say that!   First of all, Instagram offers something that no other platform offers right now. Ease of access from the content to the offer.   Think about it, you can run a story and with a simple swipe up people can get to your ecom store or your funnel. If you want to do that on other social media platforms you need several clicks, and in marketing you want as little friction as possible for your customers.   And while we are talking about stories, those are a big plus as well!   Tools like polls, questionnaires, etc can really help you deliver your message and interact with your community.     I’m starting strong today fam, it's a big question time. What are you working on? Is it your business? Maybe social media? Those two are the things people ask me about the most and there’s way more in common between them than you might think.   The very first point in common is market research. Would you open up a business without knowing if people are even interested in what you have to offer? Information is the key here, the more you know the better.    If any of you are familiar with the Art of War you should know that knowing yourself, knowing the enemy and knowing the battlefield will help you become the winner. In this case the battlefield is the market, what do people want? The enemy are your competitors, what are they doing for clients to choose them? And of course you have to know yourself, is this the correct business for you? Or the correct niche for your social media?   Be smart, plan your moves ahead of time and be ready to pivot and make changes if things aren’t working out. But don’t give up easily, there will be difficult times, I know all about it, there was a time when I had to survive based entirely on granola bars and water, I couldn’t even have a complete meal for a few days.   I don’t want you to starve or go through rough patches if you can avoid it though. I had no mentors at that point in time so I made some mistakes and poor decisions, things changed once I started hanging out with the right people and learning from them.     Today I’m sharing with you the ugly bits from my past, and I’m not talking scandals or hot takes here. Some of you may not know this but there was a point in time I could only eat a granola bar and drink water per day. That is one whole granola bar per day, if that’s not broke I don’t know what is. I was completely in ruins but the moment my life started to turn around was when I started networking and collaborating. There were so many opportunities that came to me because I started to offer value for free. Free is not for everyone though. And I don’t mean you shouldn’t do it. The question here is who is your market and what’s your brand? Find something that you are good at and people are willing to pay for, then start offering some free advice in the places where the people you want to network would hang out. I offered marketing advice on Facebook groups completely for free! I chose specific Facebook groups because there were real business owners there, they were my target audience. My personal branding was an expert on Instagram Marketing, they wanted help marketing on social media and I was the expert so we worked together like that. That’s my story though, you need to build your own. To start doing that, think hard about what your brand is, what you offer, and what kind of people want what you offer and are willing to pay for it.     Be honest with me fam, how many of you are working on your business? Freelancers count too! If you aren’t working for yourself yet there’s no problem with that, that’s ok. The thing I want you to learn today is that you don’t have to do everything yourself. I fell into that trap, I tried to work on my business, respond to my DMs, my emails, create my content, do everything myself. That left me stressed, with no time for myself and the moment something went wrong I would have to drop something else to fix it. The solution? Hire a team! Find somebody that can help you with the hiring process as well, that way you don’t have to focus on it yourself.  Find somebody else to do customer support, hire experts to work on the tech side of things so you don’t have to waste time learning and trying to set up and fix everything on your own. Content creators are also an important hire. Don’t waste your time editing, designing, planning and double checking everything yourself. Now, this step isn’t for everyone, if you are just starting out you can take your sweet time and learn the basics of everything, work your way up. But there will come a time when it will drive you crazy, you will not have time to do everything. That’s when you know you NEED to hire a team, going solo will not cut it any more.  And you get bonus points if you prepare for it earlier, don’t wait until the very last minute to fix those problems and get a team working with you. Some strategies don’t work anymore and if you use them you will hurt your account instead. Do your due diligence to stay up to date before using any software or trick, do your homework to make sure it’s ok and it will not hurt you.   There’s also the issue of language, some people do their business and have their main audience in another language, is that a bad thing? No, definitely not! A pitch that’s too good to be true probably is, don’t make excessive claims or you may lose the chance.   Make sure you are pitching the right thing to the right person. Selling an experience in a different city from where your prospect lives is hard, offering something the prospect has no interest in is the same.    Also, don’t sell sand in the middle of the desert. If you pitch marketing to a marketer you will only get a weird look, they can do the job themselves and if they can’t they wouldn’t be in business

The problem is when you don’t actually create the foundations for a solid relationship.   Deceiving others into thinking you are something you are not leads you nowhere and creates weak relationships. It is way better to be real and focus on yourself instead of a fake image made for people who don’t really care about you.   Longevity is all about investing, not taking.   This is the way to go. If you work on your relationships and on yourself you will create stronger bonds with people. This applies for personal and professional relationships.   Invest your time in people and they will invest back into you. Meaningful relationships can accompany you for life, fake relationships based on vanity break apart the moment you can’t maintain the illusion.

    In this episode, Josue breaks down how today's actions will reflect later down the line.   Everything that has happened in your life chances is because of the decisions that you have made, and you have to take responsibility for them.    Something that you do today will reflect later down the line.   A student signed up for a program, and in 3 days he made 15k in profit. Before he became a student, we started to build a business relationship over the 7-8 months. He decided to take the next step and join our highest program, which shows the actions that I made earlier reflected on this person becoming a student who has changed his life.   Make sure that you do your research before you invest in anything, once you have done your research, make sure that you follow through to make sure you get the results that you are looking to obtain.   Don't join a program expecting something magical is going to happen. You have to make sure you are consistent for the next 6 to 12 months so that you don't end up complaining and move on to something else.   There is a saying that says, "the only thing that goes to waste is that which we let it go to waste."   Don't point fingers if you purchased a program, and it didn't work out for you. Remember, they have proven results, and you did your research, and you went through it and didn't apply what they thought, then that is your fault.   Some people quit before they complete because they feel overwhelmed.   Don't take shortcuts or make modifications to a proven process.   Make sure you follow the process and see the people that are there just like you and see their results before you give up.    At the end of the day, it is your responsibility.   Fall in Love with the process!

How they teach us lessons early in life that shape us into the persons we become.    It’s very important that we make sure that if you see your children with anger issues make sure that you helped them with those issues early so that they don’t become aggressive people later in life.   I was bullied a lot early in life and I would always fight back, which was not good at an early age and fortunate for me my father was able to teach me self control.   Fathers are leaders and they lead by example. You take those positive lessons and you make sure that you do the same in life in order to make a positive impact in your life and in your family's life as well.   An example that is not good would be, a personal trainer telling you that if you don’t eat healthy you will have complications and yet they are eating fast food every single day. That just doesn’t make any sense.   Remember that you lead by example and the people that look up to you not only follow you by what you are telling them but your whole life. So you need to lead in all aspects of your life such as marriage, how you treat your kids, spouse, family, business, and employees. It’s not about making more money, but it’s about living a fulfilled life.   There are situations that are out of our control such as the Corona Virus but we still have to push through.   Remember that self-control and discipline can make a big difference at a very young age.   Life teaches us many lessons and those lessons are meant for us to grow if you take the lesson.   Stay on the right mindset.   So much Fire in this Podcast that you don’t want to miss out!
